We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silverbirch Cottage. The couches were so plush it was hard to leave the house. The bedrooms were gorgeous, as were the gardens. Such a beautiful town we really didn’t want to leave.

A very roomy, comfortable, warm cottage where we spent overnight with friends. Fully equipped kitchen and loved the wood fire and comfy couches.

Unique and wonderful
Photos don’t do it justice . This property was amazing . The garden is picturesque. The house is unique , and comfortable. Loved the seperate areas for tv watching or sitting down for a chat in front of fire - apart but also together . It was difficult to pick a bedroom as they were all so lovely .

Beautiful home in peaceful location with nice views to hills and pretty garden outlook. Very spacious and comfortable yet cozy too. Good range and quality of kitchen equipment. Very responsive hosts - confirmed our same day emergency booking within the hour and house all ready within a few hours. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Silver Birch Cottage. Close enough to town but on a quiet street. Loved the deep bath and wood fire heater. Well catered for kitchen with all the utensils you could need.

Cosy cottage
Cosy and comfy comfortable, our group enjoyed this property as our retreat from a weekend sports tournament. Bath was especially good, wood fire lovely and enough heating options to defeat the minus temperatures overnight. Deck was beautiful spot for a peaceful morning cuppa. All up, everything we needed and a lovely stay.

A very pleasant experience
Bigger and better than expected. The house had been warmed up before we arrived, which given it was a cold day was much appreciated. We were only there the one night and ate out, but it seemed to have everything you could have needed if you were staying longer and wanted to self cater. Would definitely stay there again.

Satisfactory rental experience. Old style charm but modern conveniences. Great living area to relax in. Central to the township, no need to drive.

Great house, great location
House has a pleasant Edwardian feel in the front bedrooms, opening out to a large dining, lounge area, plus a deck well located to get the sun. Easy walking distance to all of Deloraine's shops and cafes, plus a great launching off point for short and day walks in the Western Tiers. Very pleasant walking and cycling tracks along the Meander river, literally just down the hill. You can also get to Launceston by bus if you don't have a car.
