Cute cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was a big plus. Great location!

Some furniture was outdated/broken and the floor was uneven in some spots. No big deal. Did not affect our stay. Would book again:

Cabin was cold. Fireplace was dirty. Beds were not comfortable. Outside grill was dirty and only one side worked. outdoor fireplace didn’t work. cabin had a nasty smell

The cabin it was not totally clean , the heating did not work and the day we returned there was no water we could not bathe!

what I didn’t like was the front door lock was broken when we arrived I called and left a phone message and no response. I feel over charged due to the broken door lock door knob. I will be going to the office this coming Monday after seeing the charges on my card. extremely dissatisfied.

The toilet flushes

The beds have no mattress pad leaving the sheet against plastic cover. Floors uneven. Heater and fan don’t work. Ceiling fan in living room does not turn off and it’s grossly filthy. And a cleaning fee of which we take out the trash that charges me 40$. I will definitely not be back nor will I recommend this lodging to anyone.

Location and large deck.

The property is a pet friendly property. Which is what we requested…. Our pets are kennel trained and upon our arrival it smelled like dog urine..the furniture is broke down and needs replaced.. (couch and recliner) beds were not comfortable.. I dropped an earring and my husband dug it out by the bed up against the wall and it had dog hair and dust and toenail clippings with it. 🤮 The hot tub was only a warm tub.. we couldn’t get it to heat and it should have had water added.. it was way low on water and the jets only blew for a couple of minutes and would shut off…. I have had hot tubs so I’m aware of how they operate.. We were suppose to have access to tv.. that was another amenity listed.. there were TVs but we couldn’t watch anything because you have to have passwords and accounts with Netflix and Hulu or Disney…. so we had no tv to watch. Outside around the deck and hot tub was junk.. it was just junky with shovels and brooms and broken plastic stairs and a rug laying around on the ground. There was a big plastic bowl that was screwed to the ledge of the deck and it was 3 inches deep in water and cigarette butts. The pictures and the advertisement for this cabin was very misleading and it was way over priced! I would not recommend it and I will not stay there again..we payed entirely to much money for this place! I did not contact upper canyon lodging because there were no other vacancies available…. We have been renting cabins in Ruidoso for 30 years.. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED OR COMPLAINED UNTIL THIS YEARS TRIP!😩

Small cabin. Asked several times If cabin had ac, was told yes. A window unit is not AC. The furniture was awful, the couch chair and beds, and pillows were awful. It was overpriced and after seeing the cabin and the condition it was in.
