My husband, daughter and I traveled to Gulf Shores for the Beachfest tournament that coincided with the NCAA beach volleyball tournament. The condo was perfect for our stay! Great location, clean, spacious, well decorated and furnished, great pool and reasonable fitness center on the property. Highly recommended!

Great location, easy in and out. Wouldn't come back with an infant, there's just nowhere to put the pack-n-play except beside the bed or in the living room (no chance on fitting it in the bunk room, WWWHK #1), so no chance of getting a dark room for kiddo to nap in during the daytime because the curtain rods aren't wide enough for the windows (WWWHK #2), and there is glass furniture and decor everywhere (irrelevant for infant who isn't yet mobile, but those with small children need to know that). WWWHK #3: No dish towels? But not limited to that; lots of little things that offer convenience to guests that were absent.

The unit itself is gorgeous and was very clean. The parking situation was very convenient. We generally stay in smaller complexes so please that that into consideration with our feedback. This building is huge!! The unit is directly above the hot tub and voices echo. The hot tub is open until 10:30p. There were a lot of obnoxious kids and a fair amount of pot smoking on nearby balconies that made it fairly unenjoyable to be outside after 9p. There were some families yelling to their young kids who were all the way out on the beach. Overall, it was very crowded and loud. We did expect some of that with it being spring break but wouldn’t stay in this building again. The area was definitely crowded with spring breakers and there were two major police incidents in the area while we were there. Overall, not the most relaxing vacation.

The condo was very nice, no issues. The owners of the property were great to work with. Property management could use some hospitality training.Armed security guards checked the grounds, hot tubs and people checking wristbands about every hour blaming the person watching the cameras. Families with kids were kicked out of the indoor pool due to lightning strikes within a 10 mile radius. Couldn’t wrap my head around the indoor pool incident. They again blamed the person watching the camera. Couldn’t give an explanation why they were closing it down. Nothing really affected us, we topically travel with our family. However, this year was different. If we return to the area with family, we will choose another location.

This unit did NOT disappoint! It was an amazing location right on the beach. Beautiful views and the unit itself was lovely. We look forward to coming back next year.

This condo had everything we needed, including beach chairs!

Our first time to Gulf Shores. We were extremely fortunate to have found this particular condo at The Lighthouse Condominium complex. Loved the condo. Well maintained and easy to see that the owner (Linda) is vested in making their guests comfortable. Great color scheme and decorations throughout the condo. Very relaxing. Great views with easy access to beach, pools, hot tubs, sauna and workout room. The Lighthouse Condo Complex was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. The Lighthouse Condo Complex was well taken care with coded entrances to enter secured areas and plenty of security on site for keeping you safe. We highly recommend this condo. The property was as advertised. The location was awesome.

We visited the area for a volleyball tournament and this property was perfect for our stay!

My siblings and I rented out this condo as a retirement gift for our parents. Overall, they really enjoyed their 3-night stay and were happy with the time spent on the property. Everything seemed pretty clean and well-kept, and they really loved the large balcony with a perfect view of the sunsets. They appreciated being able to park so close to the condo's front door and they also enjoyed being so close to restaurants and other amenities. Some of the check-in instructions were a tad confusing for them (parking pass rate was different than specified, for example, although that may change depending on the season), but Linda was very helpful in answering the questions they did have. All in all they had a wonderful time and would love to come back one day soon!

We had an amazing time staying here. Property was exactly as described, very well decorated and stocked with everything we needed to spend time and relax. 3rd floor is perfect with almost front door parking. Had an amazing view of the ocean from the Balcony-which is huge by the way. To lounge chairs and a table for 4! Facility had 2 outdoor pools and 2 hot tubs. We never looked at the indoor pool. Entire grounds were well kept and beautiful. Will gladly stay here again if we can.

Our stay was wonderful! This condo felt like home away from home. It was clean and already had some of the necessities needed for our stay. Decor in the condo is perfect and fun! We enjoyed ALL of it and plan to stay here again in the future.

This was an amazing pick for our first time the the GS area. The condo was perfect for my husband and I. We have a 9 year old and while the bunk room was small it was enough for her. It felt like home because of how clean it was! I wish they would of said there was beach chairs there for use, we found them accidentally on our last day. We are already planning on when we can return!!

Condo was well equipped and in a great location on 3rd floor. View was amazing! Great access to pool and beach. Nicely decorated and roomy for our family of four.

Gulf Shores is one of our favorite places to vacation. We always stay at the lighthouse due to its amenities and location. Linda’s condo is very clean and beautifully decorated. The condo had everything we needed during our stay with the exception of a drying rack for dishes. As a family of five we typically stay in a two bedroom, but decided to give a one bedroom a try, as the bunk room had enough space for three children. It was a bit tight for us without having an additional closet for clothes or space to store beach gear (wagon, chairs, cooler, sand/pool toys, etc.). The 3rd floor was great for easy access to parking and climbing stairs when the elevator lines were long/slow moving. Overall, I would recommend this condo to others.

Great location, well furnished, and an overall perfect place to stay. The view is amazing!! Being able to park on the same floor was so nice!

We loved everything about this condo. The location was great and building amenities (pools, parking, access to beach) are plentiful. The condo was well-stocked with everything we needed and very clean. The check in and out process were simple and communication along the way was great, especially the tip about parking on the 3rd level for easy access and loading. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay however had a few issues. The bed in the master was rock hard and sunk in the middle due to possibly the box spring. The box spring was making all kinds of noises and sounded broken possibly. The master bathroom was not very clean between shower and tub specifically as well as tub jets had a little sand and/or rust water possibly coming out. Tub was not clean on outside either. The pack and play was broken and would not assemble and we know this one specifically and it has known issues for assembly over time. Could not get it back in bag to put away either. The shock on the main door to enter the rental is gone amd several time a serious accident could have haplened by how forceful it slams especially if any wind. This is something that should definitely be fixed because a finger or hand can easily get vrushed on an adult and a kid could get crushed. Overall though we had fun and joked our time while there. Just wanted to share some feedback and don't want you to think we are being to harsh.
