This was a fantastic unit and was perfect for our needs - close to grocery, restaurants and lots of fun stuff to do!

Fun for the whole family

My husband and I stayed in the unit for our anniversary vacation. We didn't have the golf cart for a few days but Carlos kept us informed as to when it would be available. He did compensate us for the days we didn't have it. The kitchen had everything we needed when we were eating in. The screened in lanai on the middle floor was the best! We used that a lot! The only negative about this particular unit is the bedrooms were on the top floor. That's 2 flights of stairs to carry your luggage up. The beds weren't the best but we survived. As far as location, it's an easy 2 hour drive to Key West and about an hour and 15 min from Miami. Lots of great restaurants nearby and an amazing fresh seafood store that you can ride the golf cart to. If you enjoy pickle ball, bring your rackets! People are out there playing all the time! We would stay here again.

This was the chance to revisit Kawama from our family visits in the 1980’s. Still a great place to bring your family Very attentive host

The property was clean & well maintained. Close to everything in Key Largo & easy access to route 1. The only suggestion would be blinds in the 2 upstairs bedrooms to block the outside lights at night.

We all loved the property. Our boat was kept at the slip. They had a golf cart for our use. Kitchen was stocked w condiments. We will be back.

Owners very responsive and was as advertised

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Carlos was a great host! Loved the written check in and check out instructions. This unit came with a golf cart and a boat slip! Both were a great plus as we brought our boat. We usually have an issue finding a good ramp to launch our boat but Kwamma has a great ramp right in property. Carlos was quick to answer any questions we had about the unit and area.

You don’t know it yet, but the salt-water Lagoon will end up being your favorite part. Go snorkeling under the dock. Watch the sunset on the jetty chairs. Nice updated kitchen. And lots of sleeping spots. We comfortably slept 7 using the 2 sleeper sofas.

We had a great time! Plenty of room and bathrooms - just not a master bathroom. Great location - clean and loved the bikes and golf cart! Would definitely stay again!

Our trip was a family vacation for a week and Carlos made things easy. The unit was clean and stocked. We asked if we could check in a bit early after our 13 hour drive and Carlos graciously obliged. Will most definitely stay here again.

Private. Close to everything. Charters and restaurants only minutes away. Parks and grocery close as well. Lagoon and pool a hit with kids. Nice beach area with jetty for bbqs and watching sunset. Tennis court are really nice. Lots of racquets to use at the condo. Condo also has three devices for coffee, even a French press. Blender, toaster, etc everything you need. Screened in porches are a nice touch. Don’t bother fishing the jetty or anywhere from shore on Largo. Waste of time. Get on a boat if you want to catch fish. Even bridge fishing was an epic failure. Catch some snapper on a party boat with chunk bait and bring it home to pan cook with lemon and butter. Best meal you’ll have all week. Avoid any restaurant with a huge open bar in the middle. Too many drunk locals yelling and swearing to enjoy a family meal. Golf cart was a life saver. Glad we had it. Kayaks too. Overall great trip. Hint: best key lime pie we had all week was actually bought for $9 at Publix (for the whole pie).

Weather was perfect, townhouse was great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again

2 families with 4 teen boys made great memories and had plenty of space to be together - and apart during nice long weekend. The property and amenities were great. Very well stocked and nice, new appliances. Personal touches made it feel like staying in a friend's home.

My family chose this place because they offered a golf cart to get around the property and my adult daughter is unable to walk. We notified the owner that the cart wasn't working when we arrived. He was attentive to the situation and promised that he would have the cart put in the shop the next day and would have them drop a different one off to us if they couldn't get it fixed. That seemed fair. However, the cart wasn't picked up until Tuesday evening. We rented the place from Saturday to Saturday. We finally received a cart on Thursday, leaving us the ability to use it for 48 hours (unfortunately, when we had bad weather). We had chose this community since it had the jetty, pools, and the means to allow my daughter the ability to enjoy the amenities. However, my family was unable to make use of the property amenities since we lacked the means to take my daughter. Don't count on this condo being cleaned. Dishes were dirty, the oven still had oven cleaner inside it, grease was on the kitchen cabinets, there was something sticky all over the side of the master bed and on the floor, the coffee table had prints all over it, etc. This owner expects you to launder all of your linens (sheets and towels) before you leave. Therefore, you are trusting that the vacationers before you have truly laundered the linens for your stay. I have never had to actually do the laundry before leaving a VRBO. The most I have been required to do with regards to linens was strip the beds. Further, I don't understand why I am paying a cleaning fee if I am the one cleaning the unit. Petty things...the t.v on the bottom floor did not work. However, the owner did say he would call the cable company while I was on the phone so that they could tell me how to fix it. I didn't want to deal with it, so I told him never mind. The upstairs bathroom doesn't have a trash can, there wasn't any dishwasher pods, the unit doesn't have potholders, the unit only has 2 wash clothes, etc.The positives...the location is excellent! The owner gave us small refund for not having a golf cart. However, this small refund didn't even equal 10 percent. I feel as though the owner didn't offer much since we were unable to use the amenities (which were the reasons for choosing this location). I could have stayed elsewhere much cheaper if I knew we were not going to be able to use the property.

Great place. Would definitely stay here again. The bikes, kayaks, pool and lagoon were awesome bonus things to enjoy. The location was great however we didn’t leaving the grounds all that much because we were enjoying it so much. Boat slip rental available and super convenient if you’re coming with your boat. The only thing I that bugged was all the cushions on the chairs were pretty dirty. Otherwise everything was clean and we can’t wait to go back.

This was a wonderful townhome to spend our break. The owner was very easy to work with and the property was well stocked with everything we needed to have a fantastic break. I would highly recommend this for families!

Great location, comfortable property with some nice amenities- the little private beach was great. Close to the supermarket and Pinecrest Bakery for the best cafe con leche and guava pastries!

We LOVED this condo! The owners were very accessible and answered all our questions very promptly. This condo had everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable with very little effort on your part. The pool was right out the back door. The marina was a short golf cart ride away. The boat slip makes life so much easier since there is very limited space to park trailered boats. We also enjoyed the security at the front gate which made us feel very safe. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, however we didn't cook because we used their wonderful list of suggested restaurants! Carlos also gave us names of reefs to check out and they were gorgeous! We definitely plan to come back!

There were some issues with the property that the owner addressed fairly quickly. Communication was excellent and we appreciate everything they did for us. The fishing poles could use some attention, I would bring your own.

Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The security on site was top notch and the community was very quiet. We had easy access to the pool and ocean as well as many stores.

Very nice place to chill. Comfortable, relaxing and clean. Plenty of room for us to hang out and socialize. Neighbors were respectful and polite. Outside area was well maintained.

We loved staying in this unit! Perfect size for our family, peaceful and friendly neighborhood! All of the people we encountered in Kawama were very helpful and kind to our kids! We will hopefully stay here again in the future.

We booked our stay at this property for a fun girls trip away. We really enjoyed all the space that there was and we LOVED how close it was the the pool and Lagoon. There was an issue with the fridge/ freezer but luckily there was a spare mini fridge available that we utilized. Carlos was in communication with us quickly to help us problem solve. The use of the golf cart was really appreciated and added something extra to our trip. The balcony off the master bedroom has amazingly comfortable furniture and I enjoyed sitting out there daily. Thank you Carlos for opening your home to us!

The location was ideal but the condo seemed to be more run down than expected. Stained bed linens, broken appliances, and construction next door led to frustration during our vacation.
