We have stayed at many rentals on Fripp Island over the last 20 years. This house was one of our favorites...a few minutes walk to a nice and relatively quiet stretch of beach, plenty of space for the nine of us and an enormous living room/kitchen with a porch overlooking the golf course and a higher one in the direction of the ocean. My brother is an excellent cook and always picky about the kitchen rentals, how well-stocked they are etc and he loved this kitchen. Everything is clearly labeled, and the property manager and owner answered me immediately with questions. Golf cart AND bicycles included! (Not always the case). Plus lots of beach chairs and toys. All in all, we had an excellent week because the house was so great--makes all the difference for a stress-free vacation.

My family has been vacationing for many years at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. We were looking to vacation someplace new and we are so happy that we found Footprints In The Sand. Our stay was simply wonderful! From the moment I made our reservation everything went very smoothly. The communication with Pat was very, very good and everything was handled prior to our arrival just as she stated it would be. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing week of vacation. We were very happy with our choice of a new vacation spot and we would definitely stay here again.

A lovely spacious home in a great location. Fripp is a beautiful island and has very nice amenities. Footprints was nicely appointed with beach chairs, bicycles, beach toys, beach towels, carts. Everything you need for a day on the beach. Pat is a wonderful attentive host. Would consider renting again

Our week at Fripp was fantastic! Pat was super helpful with all my questions prior to our trip, and exceedingly quick and attentive in responding to an unexpected issue and request during our stay. The location is great, and all the beach paraphernalia provided make packing so much easier! If additional grandchildren don't cause us to outgrow this house, we would love to rent in the future.

Our stay at "Footprints" was great. The house was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Our family enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the various pools throughout Fripp, and the wildlife. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away to the beach without having to be crowded. Plenty of beach to walk and enjoy!

We have spent three years coming to this beautiful house and it is absolutely amazing every time. This house is the perfect fit four our party of 9 (two families with 5 kids ranging from 4-10) and covers everything we need to have a stress free week at Fripp Island. We love hanging out in the spacious family room, playing in the backyard, playing games at the large table, and cooking dinners each night with ease in the kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked with more than enough cups, silverware, and plates which is great. There’s even a fancy ice machine that the kids call “Fripp ice”. The golf cart is great for exploring Fripp Island, we’ve discovered something new each trip. We did many trips around the island using the golf cart and beach cruisers that’s come included. The kids love the nature center where they can see snakes, turtles, and sometimes little gators. There’s a few shops for souvenirs and even a little general store at the front which came in handy. There are so many beach towels, toys, and chairs so you do not need to bring anything at all. The beach across the street, only a short walk away, is one of the biggest features of this listing. There is a new beautiful boardwalk too which helped with getting to the beach right near the house. Every room has balcony access and there’s nothing like waking up and going out to the many comfy chairs that are out there and taking in that beach sunrise. Pat is absolutely wonderful and the property manager, Nancy, as well. She is so easy to get in touch with and ready to help if needed. We have done day trips to Beaufort and Hilton Head and also visited some of the surrounding islands and of course the deer roaming around Fripp Island never gets old. We just absolutely love it here and will continue to make this a go to vacation! This is a truly magical place that anyone would be lucky to stay at!

We LOVED our stay at this house. Very open layout, really large kitchen, double-ovens were handy, the porch views and porch furniture were amazing, the street was quaint and quiet and the beach access is something like just 5 houses down (easily walkable from the house or can park your golf cart near the access point). The bedrooms were all quite spacious and plenty of bathrooms. The communication between Pat and the property owner were flawless. We hope to come back in the future!!

Our group consisted of my husband who is disabled and in a wheelchair, my son and his girlfriend and my three friends. We all fit comfortably in the house and it is well equipped. Beach access is so close and the views from the porches are spectacular. While the ramp is very steep, we always make it work in his power chair. No complaints and we hope to be back soon!

We stayed at Footprints on Fripp Island. The house is beautifully decorated and you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Pat, the owner, answered all of our questions before we booked through VRBO and made sure everything was perfect. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We were close to the beach and enjoyed the short walk. A golf cart is provided as well if you aren’t up for walking. This house has everything you need to have a restful and fun getaway. Thank you Pat for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a wonderful time!

This was our family's first trip to Fripp Island and the owner of Footprints really thought of EVERYTHING to make our stay enjoyable. The house was beautiful and minutes from the very wide and private beach--perfect for our bocce ball competitions. Our grandson loved throwing his casting net into the tidal pools. Communication with Pat, the owner, and Nancy, the property manager, was the BEST. They each texted us several times to assure that we were enjoying our vacation. We all enjoyed putting together a 1000 pc. jigsaw puzzle in the bright and airy living area. And the portable pellet ice-cube maker was a definite hit with the kids. Each of the 5 bedrooms had its own bathroom which made life pleasant for our large extended family. The kitchen was well-stocked and spacious for our several sous chefs! We picked this home because of the proximity to the beach and the prior reviews. We were not disappointed, the home was ready for us upon our arrival, and was a fabulous place to spend the week. there were a few small issues that arose but Pat and Nancy were very responsive and addressed them promptly. The kitchen had everything needed for 14 people, the golf cart and bikes were a lot of fun, and all the beach toys and chairs were so helpful to have available. The front porch is perfect for an afternoon rest or morning coffee, and the beach and pools on Fripp are just beautiful! We would definitely stay at footprints again if the opportunity presents itself in our future travels, and renting from an owner as caring as Pat is an added bonus. We highly recommend as it was a perfect home for a large group. Thanks Pat for making your home such a welcoming and fun and clean vacation home for your guests!

Great VRBO experience beginning to end. Owner Pat is super responsive throughout the process. The property checked all the boxes and more! Extra touches like providing bikes, chairs, toys, beach towels were awesome. Lots of notes everywhere with instructions on how to use remotes, lights, appliances, etc were a nice touch. Great beach access, room layout, location. We LOVED it. Thank you Pat!

We have already booked for next year. Easy access to the beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The beach was not crowded at all. The pools were great. We loved the variety of the pools. Kids loved riding in the golf carts. Easy bike riding. Fripp is a wonderful vacation spot to relax and enjoy family and friends

This house was amazing. The communication with the property owner and property manager was spot on. They were efficient and professional. The house had every amenity that we needed during our week. The mattress and the bedding in all the rooms offered comfort and luxury of a high end hotel. The open floor plan made it easy to enjoy our meals together and family game night. We even appreciated the vaulted ceiling when we were doing some family karaoke! The beach access was an easy stroll and opened up to a large beach area. We loved that this area of the beach was not as busy as some of the others that we visited on the island. The house offered all the beach toys and chairs that anyone would need. If you are looking for a house that will offer comfort and ease on your trip, THIS IS THE ONE!! Pat and Nancy have done an amazing job and are there to help you along the way. I cannot wait to come back.

Great home to stay with family. Close beach access. Owner communication was quick and clear. Fripp island has a lot to offer families and groups. Would definitely come back again!

The house worked out perfectly for our group. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to maneuver with several people doing cooking tasks. Plenty of room to spread out in the living area and outside. The views were spectacular!

We had a fantastic stay at this property on fripp island. The house had all of the amenities and utensils we could have needed. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. The back porch overlooked the golf course which was nice. The beach access was easy and beautiful. The beach accessories (towels, chairs, etc) were fully stocked and very convenient. We will definitely be renting this house again; we had an awesome stay!

This is our second stay at Footprints for Spring Break vacation. The easiest way to explain how much we love it here is to say we were already planning our next stay there WHILE we were there! It’s seriously the most perfect location and the perfect set up for our two families with younger children. The kids had the time of their lives and the adults were so comfortable and relaxed. Rooms/beds are comfortable, balconies are perfect for morning coffee or deer sightseeing, and the large kitchen made meals a breeze. As it was last year, golf cart is a huge plus for exploring the island and we actually explored more this time and found even more cool spots on the island. Beaufort is a must for the day and we had a fun dinner at Morgan River Grill on a neighboring island. Pat is also so wonderful and made the whole process so easy. We LOVE it here! You won’t be disappointed with a stay at Footprints.

Spring break at Footprints! Pat was wonderful and made the rental absolutely seamless. The house was on point with all we needed for an enjoyable stay from the beach towels, beach chairs, bicycles, golf cart, ice maker, outside grill, a chef’s kitchen, amazing master bedroom and huge on suite to the ocean views from the balcony of the upstairs front bedrooms. Did I say it was handicap accessible?! We might have to bring Grandma next time. Footprints has it all. Footprints beach access was super close. We literally were the only ones on the beach 2 of the days we were there. Shhhh don’t share this with anyone because we will be back.

This place has it all. Even when arriving in off season there is so much to see and do while exploring Fripps Island and being in this beautiful home just makes the trip that much better. Clean through and through and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. Choosing this home is a win win and I am sure others will enjoy it as much as my family did.

This property was perfect for what our family needed for a quick weekend trip. Everything was clean and the instructions were straight forward. We even had WIFI issues that were quickly resolved. Pam and Nancy were very hospitable and kind during our stay. Will definitely look to rent here again.

Bright rooms, all decorated like a private home.

The property is pleasant and easily accessed from the main gate on Fripp Island. It is an easy drive away from the marina and has views over one of the Island's two golf courses. Beach access is at POA 2 (about 6 mins from house) as POA 1 is currently washed out. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and other essentials. Beds are comfortable; only two bedrooms (upstairs) have partial views of the ocean. No ocean view from the main floor. Weather was cold and windy so we spent a lot of time in the main living area of the house which is comfortable and roomy.

As a young adult I came with my Father, siblings, small children and grandparents (4 generations) to Fripp. I have not been able to return for ~30y. When an opportunity to have a family vacation to the beach, now as the oldest generation, I knew it had to be back to Fripp. I came with me 4 kids, their spouses/significant others and our new granddaughter (3 generations). The Island did not disappoint and was everything that I remembered. The Footprints House was PERFECT. Moments from the beach with very easy access. Full use of golf cart that took us everywhere we needed. Very clean, well equipped (even with walker for grandbaby and plastic dishes/spoons/etc.), spacious to easily hold the 10 of us with room for more, great internet and TV so the guys didn't miss any games while we were there, wildlife and incredible views just outside the doors, etc. I would recommend to anyone.

Fripp Island and this property were perfect for our trip. Plenty of space for 12 women. The views are great from the house along with the proximity to the beach. We enjoyed golf cart rides to pickle ball and bike rides. Loved that these things and chairs and beach towels were provided. We had not visited Fripp before and we all loved it. Will hopefully make it an annual trip!

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The house was clean and well maintained and equipped.The owner and house manager were extremely accommodating and easy to contact . I cannot fully express how delighted we were.

Clean, convenient and large enough to accommodate family. Pat and her family have a well equipped home, excellent bikes, and many beach toys, chairs and bogie boards.
