We had the best time at this great beach cottage. We paddle boarded straight from the dock, walked across the street to the beach and rode bikes up and down the boardwalk. Walking distance to so many great restaurants too. The home slept our family of 6 plus a few friends with ease. Kristy was super responsive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this home for a great beach vacation.

This is the perfect spot. Everything you could need is within walking distance. The kids had a blast and the adults did too. Perfect little getaway 10/10 recommend!!

We loved this charming house. We read the kitchen was small so we planned our stay to utilize the grill as much as possible and minimize the people In the kitchen. It worked wonderful!! We sat outside on the picnic table as a family and played games in the living room. Wonderful vacation rental!

Our group of 7 women loved our stay! The home is just as pictured and was very cozy, clean and spacious. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and a grocery store, which was a big plus for us. The owners were very responsive and so friendly! The home had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an awesome stay! 🤗

We had a nice time. The location was great, walk to beach, grocery store and restaurants in 5 minutes. The house was very old and run down. Nothing updated and weird layout. Upstairs with 4 bedrooms, only 1 full bathroom in the master and a 1/2 bath. We all had to use master shower or go downstairs to shower. Downstairs were 2 bathrooms with 2 bedrooms. It happened to be freezing the weekend of our stay and the old heater barely put out heat. The back was nice and right on a canal. It would be nice to have had paddle boards for our use. The kitchen was very well stocked, which was appreciated. No dishwasher. Also plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. We enjoyed our stay but prefer a newer, updated house. Than you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very well situated. It was clean and well appointed. We had the worst rain and windstorm BUT the house was perfect. We had a girls week. We enjoyed some muchneeded relaxation and gab fests! We would stay here again.

There were several disturbing things. A one man kitchen with no dishwasher. A barking dog and early risers next door at 5:00AM doing lots of barking and talking. No parking near by.

An excellent summer vacation home in a brilliant location and extremely well managed and stocked. Great to be back in NB after 2 summers of pandemic and delighted to see the city and businesses have survived so well. With a view of the canal and two blocks from the beach this holiday was made to order for friends and family. A short walk to shops and restaurants

Beautiful sunset views from the dock every evening, walking distance to the beach, dining and shopping. This house was well stocked and very charming. We will 100% stay here again. We are local and used to live right down the street from this location. It was a spectacular staycation - convenient with lots of room for everyone! Highly recommend!!!

Checking in and out were easy. The location of the place is very convenient. Walking distance to stores and restaurants and of course the beach. The owners were very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful property for our vacation. Less than a five minute walk to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Loved that when we weren’t on the beach we could relax on the patio on the canal. The house had plenty of room for our group of twelve ranging from infant to teens to adults, it had everything we needed and more! The only downside to this property is the kitchen/cooking area is small, so food prep was tight but manageable. Also be aware that this is an older home, this was not a drawback for us as we loved the coziness and charm with the added plus of the littles thinking the house was haunted and they loved it. I would recommend this home and the property managers, Kristy was great and readily available for questions before and during the trip. Overall this was a wonderful choice of home for us!!!

Great location. Nice neighborhood. Went to Universal Studios, the beach, and Balboa Island. Perfect Christmas location for our family.

The location and the house are awesome. We planned on surfing and got sum done just before an oil spill was announced. We ended up traveling by car 36 minutes to beaches further South where there was no spill issue. There are so many little extras in the house I can't mention them all. As a superhost I can tell you that this place is the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. Our whole family had their own space as well as plenty of common space to be together. The house was so well stocked with tons of towels, kitchen stuff and even curlingand flat irons in the master bathroom! Kristy the property owner was so helpful and sweet before and during our stay. She was always responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. The location was amazing as well. On the bay and so close to the beach. We would definitely recommend this property !

This was a great location near everything (walking and biking distance). The home was big with very comfortable beds, plenty of closet space, large supply of shampoo conditioners in each shower, large supply of clean towels, plenty of kitchen pans, dishes, etc. Would love to stay here again!

Owner was quick to respond from beginning to end. Minor issue** When we first arrive, I was looking for my son's toy under the couch rug didn't smell so clean as if their dog smell or haven't been vacuum/washed well, my allergies kicked in afterwards. The house had 6 bedrooms and 4 toilets as mentioned. The house was clean overall. Marina view was awesome, quiet, relaxing to hanging for meals/fishing and painting. Neighbors are nice. Parking suck if you have more than 2 cars [fits very tightly in garage]. Plenty of bath towels, ice chest, beach supplies toilet paper, body wash and shampoo. Very thoughtful owners consider every aspect of family accommodation. House is down the street from a park and the shore. The bbq propane is filled for easy use and we were greeted with oreo cookie jar. The family and kids over the house and weekend. Thank you Nick and Kristy for hosting us!

Such a great experience at this beautiful home. The neighbors were amazing and so nice to us. We enjoyed laying on the dock during the day. The location was perfect and walking distance to many restaurants. The pier was a 15 minute walk to. The place was perfect we would totally book this place again.

From start to finish this was a wonderful experience! The owners were very gracious in letting us check in early and check out late. That was greatly appreciated since our flight arrived in the morning and with COVID we weren't really sure what we were going to be able to do to pass the time until check in. When we arrived the house was clean and welcoming. A nice board welcoming us and a cookie jar filled with Oreos especially for us on the counter. The beds were soooo comfortable. Not just mine, but by all accounts all the beds were very comfortable. The house had been decorated for Christmas and a full-sized tree sat decorated in the window. The owners were available but not overbearing--always available when I had a question. The two decks were great to sit on and the weather was beautiful. Not only were the customary items available (hair dryer, etc), but spices, coffee/filters, paper products were provided in the kitchen. Shampoo/conditioner and body wash were provided in every bathroom that had a shower. Overall, it was a great experience. The only reason I rated accuracy of listing a four was because of the fireplace. When I was looking for a place to stay I was only looking for places with fireplaces. The pictures show a fireplace so I just assumed it would be available for use. It was disappointing to find out when we got there that it was for show only. Sitting in front of a fire with family and friends was something I wholeheartedly was looking forward to. That would be my only suggestion to the owners--the listing does not say a fireplace is available, but it also does not say it's not. The picture implies there is a fireplace. Maybe just add to the description that the fireplace is not for use. That would be my only negative comment. I still give this listing and the owners a five star rating. Nick and Kristy were outstanding hosts!! Had a great time!

My wife and I just got married at Electra Cruises and coming FROM AZ wanted somewhere nearby that can accommodate us and our friends so we can spend the time together instead of separated at a hotel. We saw the Dock and proximity to the water and our venue. I'm amazed how many rooms they fit in these houses and still feels comfortable, very clean and open spaces. Every question we had asked the host was answered immediately and couldn't have gone smoother. Great home and even better Host! We will definitely stay here again! But next time, just to relax! P. S a few houses down is a "Pirate" house, cute nearby sightseeing

This home is very special! As an owner of my own rentals I can say the Hosts were very helpful with communication and clearly provide all the extras and nice touches to make the Home very welcoming. When I first saw the listing photos I thought the House looked like it was due for a remodel, But after staying there with plenty of beds and privacy for 12 adults. It is clear that this home has been well maintained and keeping the home looking like it did when it was originally built is much better than any remodel. The house has incredible charm and the Hosts make it very welcoming. The Location is fantastic! On the bay with a dock and also a quick walking distance to Beach, grocery store and great restaurants. I highly reccomend spending time at this Home! Mahalo Nick and Kristy! i

We loved this house right on the canal. We had 2 families with a total of 10 in the house and it worked out perfectly. There was room for 9 bikes in the side area next to the house - the price was $40 per bike for the week. We walked or biked to the beach, restaurants, the grocery store, Lido's shopping & restaurant area, and even down the peninsula to the two piers and over to Balboa Island. Next time we will rent kayaks and paddleboards to keep at the dock so we can go up and down the canals as we saw other people do - it looked so fun! There were 4 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms so room for everyone. We did not use the kitchen except to make coffee, toast and heat things up in the microwave. We would definitely stay here again!!

We were so excited about the location of this house. Once we arrived there was literally no need for a car. The back patios were large enough to fit our group comfortably and we enjoyed the beautiful view while visiting together. The owners checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Such a lovely week for us!

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Bayfront Retreat. The owners were very accommodating and the home was very neat. We loved its location and proximity to good restaurants and the grocery store. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it!

Myself and 3 business associates stayed at the property and loved the location and amenities. It was great for everyone to have there own bedroom. BBQ was brand new and the back patio on the canal was perfect relaxing. Very close to the beach and restaurants.
