We chose to have our wedding in the Virgin Islands because of its stunning views and tranquil beaches. Little did we know we would experience a life changing trip for our entire family and friends. All thanks to Werner Scott, Toni and the Coral Gardens staff! The Villa is remarkable! The view is simply breathtaking. Each day we enjoyed delicious food by world class chefs. We also thoroughly enjoyed the private beach, pools, snorkeling and boating. Our experience far surpassed anything we could have possibly imagined. Werner, Toni and the rest of the Coral Garden crew not only opened up the villa, but opened their arms and hearts to all of us! We arrived as friends and left as family. Truly incredible!

Beautiful location! A little hard to find, but worth finding! If you have a large group, this works very well! Werner, the owner, was on-site the whole time and ready to help, no matter what the issue, and when we had a member do something a little stupid (try to swim across the bay - not a good idea!) his local knowledge was very valuable. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but this is a beach house on St Thomas; you have to expect an issue or two, and as I said, they were minor. If I was booking this trip again, right now, I would book it again at Coral Gardens! Our group had a fantastic time, despite the fact that we were there to spread the ashes of my late-wife. Werner helped us line up fishing trips (which ended up feeding us for most of the trip, and we all had a blast!), and had a lot more to offer that we didn't need or want. If you have a corporate retreat, this would be awesome!

The Villa at Coral Gardens Beach Estate is a beautiful place to stay for a large group. Our family of 20 comfortably fit in the villa's 10 (of 11) lovely king size bedrooms, the majority with outstanding views of Magen's Bay. Listening to the gentle lapping of the waves against the rocky shore below was a delightful way to fall into sleep each night. Werner and his efficient staff were accessible for any of our needs and Werner went out of his way to provide special services for us including an exilerating boat ride in Triple Smooth to a private beach and a VIP shopping excursion downtown. Drew is a multi-talented "go-to-guy". He prepared the most delicious meals along with a small kitchen staff who were so accommodating and fun to be around that they seemed to be just part of our family group. Prepare for lots of stairs as the villa is four floors arranged on the side of a mountain but well worth the effort to get down to Magen's Bay to snorkel, the crystal blue pools or the outside bar and lounge area. The Secret Garden "cottage" on the property is a very unique and special place that we (just 2 or 4 of us) would love to come back to for a more quiet and intimate stay. My fiancé and I were looking for the perfect place to get married. We decided on the one place we had stopped during a cruise and had always dreamed of visiting again. Of course, it was easy. St. Thomas!! We had a very small party, just 20 people. We wanted something intimate that would serve as both a thank you for coming and the most amazing vacation they’d ever experienced! A once in a lifetime, no hotel we found could provide that. We stumbled upon Coral Gardens and it was the best decision! The house is beautiful. The views are to die for. Werner and his amazing team are amazing! They were always available to assist with anything we needed, no matter large or small. We did the welcome BBQ and it was delicious. Plenty of leftovers for a few days!! Then, the reception… I can’t recommend you go with the Caribbean reception dinner! It was delicious. I am not a seafood person, but they served seared tuna appetizer with this spicy sauce that was to die for. People are still talking about it! Maybe Werner will take pity on me and get his fellow Texan the recipe.. LOL. The pools are amazing, the snorkeling was great! We saw a barracuda, which luckily, Drew told us it’s the hall monitor of the sea! It’s so cool to just be able to look out and see such beauty! I can’t recommend this place enough. I have to admit it was a tough decision picking a place all the way from Texas to St. Thomas, but I know I made the right decision!

I was looking for a place large enough for me and 18 of my friends and I found Coral Gardens Villa. I wanted somewhere that I would be proud to bring my friends and show off the beauty of my hometown and enjoy carnival 2016. When I say that this villa checked off all of my boxes in a place away from home. It had scenic views, perfect location, Immaculate decorations, tranquil atmosphere, beautiful breathtaking picture perfect views, spacious rooms, beautiful sunsets, and the list goes on. Words can't describe the look in my friends eyes when they say this place it was priceless. To top it off the owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. In my words this Villa was, Fabulous, Breathtaking, Amazing, and Gorgeous. This will be our Villa of choice every time we come to St Thomas. We stayed at the Coral Gardens Estate over a long weekend in January. We were visiting Werner & his team to plan my husband's 40th birthday party which we will be held at the Estate in April 2016. We started planning this party since July 2015, and have been in touch with Werner since. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Werner & given a tour of this gorgeous property. The views from this property of Magen's Bay, sunrise and sunsets are spectacular. Every room is luxuriously furnished, & the beds are heavenly. The kitchens are well equipped with every appliance or kitchenware. Making any meal is a breeze. Werner has put tremendous effort and thought in the design, layout and furnishings of both properties, you will not be disappointed. In Secret Garden, the architecture has incorporated the natural boulders on the property, which is just amazing. Since this was our first time in St. Thomas, Werner carefully architected a day to take us for an Island Tour, highlighting fabulous locations, restaurants, bars & party scenes that we will be visiting. After our tour we went out on his boat, Triple Smooth, which was an experience to die for. We visited Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Spit, & Willy T's. Triple Smooth - lives up to its name, she is a wonderful boat, and is an amazing ride. Werner scheduled meetings for us with all his team members to thoroughly plan and organize all the events that we will be hosting at Coral in April. The entire process of renting the Estate, & planning a major event has been absolutely seamless with Werner and his team. They have all been so accommodating, always available to discuss anything, and have such brilliant ideas on how to make our trip for 50 of us in April a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Coral Gardens not just as a property to stay at, but it is an experience that will change your perspective on vacationing. You must plan to stay here and have your next event here! We can't wait to be back in April!

If you have a large group- you should definitely stay here! It is BEAUTIFUL and incredibly well run! We rented both Coral and Secret Gardens for our son's Bar Mitzvah , the week of Dec. 26, 2015. We had 31 people stay at the two houses and 56 people come to various parties at the house. People of all ages and many who did not know each other before the event. The two houses accommodated everyone perfectly- everyone had their own beautiful space and lots of privacy. The party and common areas were FANTASTIC! The houses themselves are spectacular, the views are breathtaking and everything you need is on hand- including Grills, coolers, umbrellas, loungers, snorkeling equipment... We all loved the pools on the properly, the beach, snorkeling right at the house and the close proximity to the beautiful beach at Meghan's Bay! Werner and his crew helped us plan a week of amazing events- each one was better than the next!!! Our guests were thrilled with all the dinners, the parties and the boat ride. Werner made everything easy to plan, he lined up all his people and they all delivered EVERYTHING that they said they would and more. We thought planning a week of parties away would be taxing and stressful but Werner and his crew took care of everything and many extras- including entertainment for the kids. I have only rave reviews of Werner (the owner of the house), Drew (our consierge) Americus (the driver - who shuttled 56 of us everywhere on the island!) Spraga- the chef Werner recommended for a few of our meals, Leslie - our party planner and Passion Fruit- the caterer we used for the main event. It was a truly memorable and wonderful week! We had high expectations, we are picky and we are used to staying at quality resorts and I am ecstatic to report that our expectations were all met and exceeded! Thanks again to Werner and his team- we will always remember this AWESOME week and hope to be back again for another happy occasion!!!!

Where do you take 8 Senior Girls (with 22 other family members) for an unforgettable Spring Break trip? Magen's Bay, St. Thomas of course! When you first arrive at Coral Gardens after a semi-harrowing trip from the airport via the narrow roads of St. Thomas, you are struck by the sheer size of this property. There are levels after levels, bedrooms after bedrooms, and kitchens and refrigerators and pools and a private beach. However, the most amazing feature is something that gets discovered as the sun begins to set on the first night of your stay...four levels of balconies facing the West! There are multiple perfect spots to enjoy the sparkling water as the light begins to fade. A true highlight of the Coral Gardens experience. Werner and his crew provided some phenomenal meals and a fantastic trip to the BVI. Take advantage of those opportunities if you can! (The welcome BBQ and a meal with the private chef that could work ANYWHERE if he and his assistant didn't love making fantastic meals for groups like ours!) Use Werner's recommendations on local restaurants, rental cars, excursions, beaches, etc...I think he knows everyone and everyplace on the island. Take a ride on TRIPLE SMOOTH (his boat) to anywhere he'll take you. Great experience and a great ride. Order pizza from a boat at Christmas Cove! A Spring Break trip that will never be forgotten...thanks to Coral Gardens and Werner!

Words cannot express the beauty of this house, the location is beyond breathtaking, waking up in the morning with a view that is as spectacular as a dream, snorkeling right off the private beach, Werner made our trip the trip of a lifetime, the welcome BBQ ( it was the best Texas BBQ I have ever had, who would have thought we had to go to St. Thomas to have BBQ like this!!) 18 family members ( 4 Generations ) under one roof - 11 bedrooms all but 3 face the water. Going on Werner's private boat to BVI Island and Honeymoon Beach, truly where the rich and famous play, made the trip for everyone, Magan Bay Beach, spectacular (do not miss this) then to top off the trip we set sail on a private 65 ft Sailboat dinner cruise - Werner helped us plan it all, he left nothing to question, Best family trip ever. I would highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone looking to create memories that would last a life time. I coordinated a family reunion Christmas getaway for my husband's family, comprising 3 sub-families and our matriarch. This trip was her gift to us - and Werner's, too! We couldn't have asked for a more personally accommodating host. We chose from the property's 11 INCREDIBLE bedrooms - more than enough room for the 14 of us. We were a big group with very different interests - from little kids (we had 5 kids under 6) to teenagers to adults with different ideas of what a "vacation" looks like. Coral Gardens and Werner & Toni made it the trip of a lifetime for each & every one of us. A FEW highlights (I couldn't possibly list them all!): * We lounged by the pool with the iguanas. * The little kids LIVED in the wading/splash pool. * We snorkeled off the beach of the property. * We were treated to AMAZING trips on Werner's private boat, Triple Smooth. * We visited neighboring islands. * The women enjoyed in-house massages from private masseuses - on the decks so we could hear the waves below! * The "big boys" went deep sea fishing and caught a TON of fish. * We ate at awesome, one-of-a-kind, 4-star restaurants and super-fun locals-only spots. * Werner arranged for a private chef for dinner one night - perhaps my favorite meal of the trip! Delicious! * We drank cocktails on the deck - and the beautiful mural-painted patio! * We even had a welcome night barbecue! * The kitchen is amazingly well-appointed with every tool and appliance you could ever want when cooking in, including TWO dishwashers. Essential for a big group! * The beds are very comfortable and the sheets, towels, beach towels, etc. are top-notch. To answer the standard VRBO questions: the listing & pictures couldn't possibly do the property justice, but are accurate; the property is immaculate; the owner went above & beyond in every possible way; I would recommend this property and all activities endorsed by Werner to everyone I know! I can't say enough about the property - it is truly one-of-a-kind and just breathtaking. (The sunsets!) But more than that, Werner, Toni, and all of the local folks we were introduced to REALLY CARED about helping us fulfill our every wish - individually, and as a group. DON'T HESITATE - if Coral Gardens is available BOOK IT!!!!!

My husband and I traveled to St. Thomas with his family and extended family to this beautiful and unforgettable paradise! I have never been to a more beautiful place in my life and hope to stay here again! The view was unbelievable and the snorkling right at your finger tips was probably the best snorkling you will ever experience! I have nothing negative to say about the whole vacation! If you are like me and love running or enjoy being outside, there are beautiful hikes down to the point (coming out of the driveway, go left) and all up and down the island. Love this place and was also very spacious! We had 25 people and there was more than enough space!!

My husband and I booked Coral Gardens to celebrate his 50th birthday with our families--all 38 of them! I was wary of celebrating Thanksgiving week so far away from home, but Werner is truly a host among hosts, and I didn't miss home for a minute. Cassandra and her crew made an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, and a fabulous brunch on our last day. Werner was in touch or with us daily, ferrying us around the islands on his speed boat, and his driver took us all over the island. They even helped me surprise my husband by picking up his good friend at the airport for an unexpected and hilarious "chance encounter" on the beach. The kitchens were well stocked so cooking for ourselves waand anything we needed Werner acquired for us. Thrice Werner's chefs made us breakfast in the main house; other days we were on our own. The rooms were beautiful, roomy, and clean. Both houses had tremendous personality--the smaller house, where my husband and children and I stayed, was built upon a massive rock which emerged into all three floors and made for a real island feel. The infinity pool boasted breathtaking views and quickly became the adults' favorite gathering place. The other two pools became the main headquarters of the teenagers and kids, which meant everyone could take their pick of quiet chats, reading, or noisy cavorting. It was so relaxing, whether in the water or on a veranda (too many to count), or on the small but beautiful beach, where we snorkeled and swam. The house had a collection of snorkel gear and beach shoes, and even a small gym. Some of us walked up the hill to investigate a lovely spring, and it was great being so close to Magen's Bay Beach, which was exquisite. Werner was excellent at feeling us out to find what activities we wanted, and accommodating both the oldest and youngest among us by thoughtfully providing alternatives. He arranged dinner and even a wine-tasting in some fabulous restaurants (though how he found any place willing to seat all 38 of us is beyond me!) He was kindly attentive to my widowed mother-in-law, and charming with the children. He ferreted out the real planner among us and collaborated to keep everyone happily entertained. We had a wonderful and delicious sunset dinner cruise, as well as a day at Yost Van Dyke none of us will soon forget. We all felt like royalty, especially the birthday boy! Kudos, Werner and company, for a flawless and carefree week! -

Accommodations at Coral Gardens were ideal for our three generation family of 22! We travel each summer to a new destination in order to reunite and enjoy time together. Coral Gardens certainly provided this for us, as well as the bonus of much needed space and privacy. The suites and bedrooms with attached bathrooms are all located strategically to provide this. A recent widow (with five children, their five spouses, and 10 grandchildren ranging in age from 11 months to 19 years old), I personally had not slept as well in many years as I did during the time we spent there. Meals were scrumptious and fun! We chose to be on our own for breakfast and lunch. Our scrumptious dinners varied: each family on different nights prepared one dinner for all, two dinners were provided by caterers and arranged by Werner, another one was in a private room in a castle restaurant, and the last evening was on a sunset dinner cruise! Owner and host Werner was wonderful at orchestrating activities suitable for our group and interests. He spent considerable time on the phone with me before our trip to become acquainted with our needs and desires. This was definitely an amazing experience and vacation each of us will remember always!

My husband and our families stayed at Coral Gardens Villa. We had the most wonderful time. It was so nice to be able to all be together, and compared to what we would have spent at some of the resorts for that many people, we ended up with a good deal. The owner and his associates were extremely helpful with planning, directions, advice, taxis, and virtually any problem that may have come up. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone that has a large group staying. I would rent a vehicle as it is in it's own private area. The pools are nice and even welcome an occasional iguana guest! Views are exquisite from the multiple balconies. We had Passion Fruit chefs stock the kitchen and cater several meals. They seemed to be familiar in the house, decorate it well, and were EXCELLENT in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the whole experience!

If you are looking a wonderful place to stay in St. Thomas, I would highly recommend Secret Gardens.This house is perfect for any type of vacation.There were 3 of us on this trip–all ladies; youngest was 18. This house is perfectly situated to capture the beauty that is St. Thomas. The views from the house are breathtaking. The house itself has been masterfully thought out. It brings in the essence of the magnificent surroundings into the house. For instance, there is a huge rock that starts in the kitchen on the main level, then to the half bath and then it goes down to the lower level bathroom which becomes the rock shower. The shower head actually comes out of the rock. There are several levels of covered verandah so you can maximize your enjoyment of the great outdoors. There is this gorgeous tree which part of the verandah is built around. To enjoy more awesome scenery, we took a nice jaunt to Picara Point. This is not to be missed if you are staying at Secret Gardens. This stunning house has a mural of the idyllic surroundings in the dining/living room area. The master bedroom on the main level and the adjoining bathroom are huge and very comfortable. This bathroom has an enormous walk in shower for 2, a gigantic tub and double sinks. I am very particular about bathrooms and this one more than met my standards/expectations. The kitchen was well-appointed as well. It comes more than fully equipped so you can whip up a gourmet meal. Cassandra with Passion Fruit Chefs came in and prepared a wonderful dinner for us one night. If you have the chance, I would highly recommend having her prepare a meal or 2. The infinity pool is another special feature. In the pool,you can easily lose yourself in the beautiful surroundings. We received a real treat when we met the owner, Werner, who happened to be in town. He was such a delight and an ace in suggesting things to do and places to eat. He did an outstanding job ensuring that our stay would be wonderful. One of the most memorable things we were able to do was to go boating with Werner–not just any boat,but a speed boat.Normally I am not one to go boating, but we all agreed that it was fantastic experience and one that we would readily do again.The house is located near Magens Bay which is one of the most beautiful beaches beautiful beaches in the world-go enjoy the sunset.This house has so many extraordinary and sophisticated features that the pictures do not do it justice. We would definitely stay here again.

There were 14 of us that traveled to St. Thomas to celebrate our parents' 60th wedding anniversary. After a hectic airline travel day, we all arrived safely and thankfully we had arranged for Coral Gardens to be provisioned for us. We all got a bite to eat and quickly settled in to our private king bedrooms - 7 of them! The next morning we awoke to the delicious smell of breakfast being prepared by Laura and her staff of Passion Fruit Chefs. We had 6 breakfasts and 4 dinners prepared for us during our stay and every meal was better than the last!! The snorkeling was fabulous and the pelicans and seagulls put on a show for us everyday. The views were magnificent and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks was so relaxing. There were many things that we could have done while on St. Thomas, but for the most part we all preferred to stay in the quiet solitude of Coral Gardens. We did have massages scheduled - they came to us! Thanks to Werner for all of his help in planning our trip and Winston was helpful while we were there and the Passion Fruit Chefs staff was wonderful! We had a great time and highly recommend to everyone!

It's not often that you are able to get 20 of your best friends in one place at one time to do anything, even rarer to do so on an island. I was fortunate enough to be able to do this in order celebrate two of our friends getting married on St. Thomas. As one might imagine, with 20 different lives and budgets its no easy task wrangling everyone and getting them to commit to anything even when it is paradise! This task became possible in my mind once I found the Coral Gardens property; I had the venue! Then I thought, how do I get things in order so that we can get 20 people down there AND make it a once in a lifetime experience? This is where Werner in his staff come in! From the planning through execution Werner and his team were accommodating to say the least! From organizing and executing the transportation of 20 guests for the week, keeping the amazing facility running while affording us privacy, having suggestions on having a great time the entire time (on the grounds or off), this team has it down! Coral Gardens allowed us to have that truly once in a lifetime experience that as an organizer I was promised and as a group we thoroughly enjoyed! Hotels are all well and good, but until you have experienced what Werner and his team have to offer you simply have not been on a vacation. The rooms are comfortable and plentiful, the layout offers communal fun and private time with ease, the kitchen and many grills will leave you to question your setup at home, and the beach and house views will make you more than happy to be there while sad to leave! Werner and his team will make sure that anything you need is taken care of and quickly. The memories for any family or group of friends staying at this property will be cherished for a lifetime! My husband and I as well as our daughter and son-in-law stayed at Secret Gardens, and man, were we impressed! The pictures on the website do not do justice to the beautiful home and property! My husband and I stayed in the upstairs master suite, and our daughter and son-in-law stayed in the downstairs master suite. Both suites were absolutely beautiful, but my husband and I preferred staying on the main floor, with the kitchen and great room all on our level. Our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed the larger lower level master suite with their own private balcony and 2 separate bathrooms! The infinity pool was to die for, and the views of Magen's Bay were spectacular! Winston was available for any questions or assistance, yet was not intrusive in any way. The murals painted on the walls inside Secret Gardens were amazing! The furniture was world-class, and the kitchen was an impressive gourmet kitchen with all the amenities! Secret Gardens was by-far, the best house we have ever stayed in...in St. Thomas, or anywhere. I guess by telling you this, it is no longer our "secret", but I feel that everyone should have the opportunity to experience this vacation of a lifetime, and Secret Garden is the place to do it! BOOK THIS HOUSE! You will not regret it!!

Our entire extended family (35 people) had the great pleasure of staying at this incredible estate for Christmas 2011 and New Years Eve 2011. From the views of Megan's Bay to the private location fo the estate to the layout of the home(s) to the culture and experience of St Thomas we were in awe and fantastically blessed to have the privilege of experiencing this place. Werner and his staff were always available, very helpful, yet not ever intrusive so the property and amenities provided lead to a great overall experience and an incredible vacation. Thank you for spoiling us and sharing your beautiful home with us! If we ever find ourselves coming to St Thomas again we will definitely make Coral Gardens our first choice.

We stayed at and had our wedding at Coral Gardens. Everything & everyone exceeded our expectations. Cheryl was great at helping with the plans. Americus, the shuttle driver, was fantastic and really knew his way around. Coral Gardens was very comfortable, and even with the 16 of us, we still had our privacy. The kitchen was great. My Uncle John cooked in it almost every day. The villa is in a perfect and beautiful location. I really can't say enough about the entire experience. Werner was also there staying at Secret Gardens. He really helped with everything running smoothly and helping with the planning while we were there. I don't know if I'd want to go back to St Thomas without Americus & Werner there. We also took a boat ride on Werner's boat which was the highlight of the trip. For the wedding reception we went on a dinner cruise with New Horizon which was also amazing. Can't wait to try out Secret Gardens next time!

Coral Gardens is absolutely amazing! Our daughter got married at Magens Bay and 17 of us stayed at Coral Gardens for the week. We were fortunate to meet the Villa owner,Werner, and he was kind enough to meet us at the airport and personally escort us to the Villa. Werner and his staff –Cheryl (villa liaison), Winston (property caretaker), and Stephanie (housekeeping and shopping) – were all wonderful. Cheryl coordinated all of our needs during this special vacation. Winston was never more than 10 minutes away and took care of our every need at the Villa. A most appreciated and definitely recommended service provided was the provisioning. Stephanie did an incredible job shopping for our groceries and it was wonderful to step into the Villa and have all of our groceries purchased and unpacked ! The recommended wedding planner – Perfect Weddings of St Thomas (Leslie ,managing consultant)- arranged everything for the day of the wedding “perfectly”- venue, ceremony, minister(Bill is SO nice and personable)flowers, hairdresser, photographer (Eric from Paradise Pictures--didn’t miss a single photo opportunity and our daughter received the CD of pictures the week we arrived home!). Leslie even had a short rehearsal the evening before the wedding so everyone would be comfortable. Recommended by Werner and Cheryl, Passion Fruit Chefs (liaison, Laura) prepared and served the wedding meal at Coral Gardens. Cocktails were served in the outdoor lounge and the meal was served in the main dining area. It was so much more intimate than going to a restaurant, the food was delicious, and the children who just couldn’t last the whole evening – well, they went to bed!! The floor plan of the villa allowed 17 of us to be together for a week without being crowded. The space is so well planned that each family or group could easily find a retreat, yet all 17 of us could just as easily dine together. The bedrooms were very well equipped and the bedding was as comfortable and luxurious as an upscale hotel. Massages by Lisa were “the best ever” and jet ski rentals at Sapphire Beach (arranged with a call by Werner) was a fun activity for all involved. Oh, and snorkeling from our very own beach – INCREDIBLE! Even the tentative children could put on a mask, put their face in the water and see hundreds of fish. It did take some planning, but with Werner’s and Cheryl’s help, this vacation was the best “all-inclusive” vacation ever!! Thanks Werner, to you and all of your staff!!

We just returned from an awesome weeks stay at Secret Garden. The pictures display truly the beauty of this villa. Couldn't really have asked for more! Views spectacular, Magans Beach, sunsets amazing, snorkeling great right off the property. Saw sea turtles, tropical fish, coral & even a dolphin! The birds & pelicans were such a delight. Parakeets, finches, and lots of amazing Iguanas. Pool wonderful. Mega Yachts like the Blue Moon & Sailboats coming right into Magens Bay, Wow! We rented a car & had no problem navigating the island. The hosts really described this place to a tee. Thank you Werner, Cheryl & Winston for making our family trip unbelievable. Will be back!!
