The place is perfect for two. There is access to trails very near by and Nevada City is short hilly walk away.

We spent 11 nights at the Creekside Cottage for our summer vacation. Beautiful, serene location. The property is well managed with trees, plants, and flowers. The screen porch at the back is ideal for taking in the surroundings. The cottage is clean and stocked with everything you would need for a home away from home. We cooked some of our meals after buying supplies from SPD grocery store, which is a 5 min drive from the property. Convenient location. Cottage is a short 10 minute walk from town and has access to several trails. The hosts were helpful and communicative. They were in touch via text during the check in process and during the stay with helpful tips and responded to questions promptly. The only suggestion we would make is to reorient or reposition the window AC unit. The air was directed up to the ceiling and didn't properly cool the rooms. We had to use the fans instead. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and hope to return.

Host was perfect. Place was a simple walk to Downtown. You can walk to hiking trails. Fully equipped with a nice little kitchen. No stove but has toaster oven. Incredible trees and tranquil. What a great space. And host as pleasant as could be. Highly recommend.

This is our go to place to stay In Nevada City. Quiet, comfortable, clean, fully equipped and awesome.

Great place to de-stress. Easy coming and going to city and nature. Friendly people. Thought the cottage was next to the creek based on online photos, but still quite happy with my experience. Had somewhat of allergic reaction (animal hair, dander) but not to the point of being uncomfortable. ( sneezed a bit, eye itch at one point.) Owners were communicative, accomodating and responsive. 4.25+ starts. Thanks for the much needed relaxation.

Betsy is an amazing host! Excellent communication, affable personality, and gracious manner. We spent more time just hanging out on the screened-in back porch than inside (beautifully decorated and easy to find everything inside, we just enjoyed ourselves out there); coming in only to eat and sleep and clean up. The trees surrounding the property afforded us both privacy and quiet, and we left the doors open to enjoy all the fresh mountain air wafting through. Lovely host, lovely property. We’ll be back! Had a great time. Very inviting decor. Well supplied & equipped. Liked being out of the city and in a natural setting along the creek. Just a short walk into town & hiking trails. We would recommend your “creek side cottage” to friends. Yea

We enjoyed our short stay and will be returning when ever we are in the area this is our go to place for a wonderful rest .

After an initial problem accessing the property, the rest was great. A good bed, nice shower. 10 minute walk to town. Lovely place.

Quiet, squeaky-clean cottage with comfortable furnishings only a beautiful wooded 10-minute walk to downtown Nevada City. Screened back porch offers secluded view for reading and a glass of wine. Cottage is well appointed with all kitchenware you need to cook and clean during your stay. Plenty of walking trails and lots of downtown shops to peruse (try Dedrick’s Cheese!). We’ll be back.

Thoughtfully and tastefully furnished, it has all the essentials for two (or three?) people in a charming atmosphere. The screen porch with foliage views on three sides is a place worth spending a lot of time!
