The title of the listing is not an exaggeration -- the views are amazing from near the top of the range. This was our fourth trip to STX and we all agreed, this was the best house we have stayed at in that time. Close enough to Christiansted that the drive to town is only around 20 min. but also far enough away to be calm and quiet. Communication with the owner and the local property managers was great, even though we had no issues.

The place was beautiful and very comfortable. Host was very nice. Only complaint would be having the neighbor so close. There is a boom box in the living room that is Bluetooth and is pretty loud so we had a complaint about the music. There was also a storm that hit us and the kitchen window didn’t close so we woke up to a huge mess in the kitchen. Water was everywhere. But other than that, it was an amazing stay and great location.

This place is amazing with spectacular views! We had 6 adults with plenty of room for everyone.. had the windows and doors open all the time with a breeze coming through.. definitely recommend a stay here!

The pictures don't do justice, the views from the decks are just spectacular. Our trip was late May/early June and we hit the weather and temperature perfectly, 70 degrees in the evenings with nice breeze to keep the bugs away. We spent our evenings out on the decks just soaking in the views with a drink. The inside of the house is very nice and the kitchen worked very well for us since we cooked most of our meals - well stocked with dishes and utensils. I recommend loading up on food essentials on your initial grocery run, store is about 15 minutes away. We were on St Croix for diving and really enjoyed Cane Bay, more so than the west end. This was primarily because all the Cane Bay sites were easily accessible from shore. However, the pier at Fred is a must dive. The house is ~15 minutes to Cane Bay and its a fun drive (best to have a truck). The owner Wally is an excellent host and made everything very easy. Mindy the property manager was also very attentive and was there to help with anything if needed. Highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Brimstage is very comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of options for sitting on the deck and enjoying the magnificent view. We mainly cook dinner in rather than go out and the grill, oven, and stovetop were all in good working order. The ice maker and blender were put to good use making Cruzan Confusion drinks and other tropical cocktails! The owner Wally was very helpful and had some great suggestions for our time on island and the on-island co-host Mindy also welcomed us, and both were very timely responding to any questions we might have had. we would come back here in a heartbeat and hopefully will some day!

We had a wonderful family vacation here! It was our first time to St. Croix. We did Atv tour, bioluminescence kayak tour, scuba diving, snorkeling etc. It was awesome and Brimstage was centrally located. Management was extremely responsive and helpFul. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Views from the pool patio areas overlooking Christiansted and Buck Island. Large, spacious home with great parking. Would stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying at Estate Clairmont. We stayed the first week of October, 2022. The Villa was great. It was clean and comfortable. The view from this Villa is absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this Villa and I cannot wait to return. Wally was wonderful to work with.

We rented Brimstoke for 3 weeks and it was hard to say goodbye. The first week was a girl’s getaway for me and two friends to celebrate collective momentous birthdays. I loved showing the island to my friends, but we also put aside time to just enjoy the patio and the views. When my friends left, my husband joined me and we spent 2 of the best weeks together that I can remember. This beautiful house and setting allowed my husband to unwind and find his happy place like none other. It is a perfect mid-island location from which to explore. But again we made sure to set time aside to enjoy the patio with the pool, hot tub, and endless views each day. Fantastic trip! We’ve been to St.Croix several times and have always stayed in resorts. Never again!

We enjoyed our stay at Brimstage. Wally, Paul and Marti were very accommodating and always helped us when we had questions. The kitchen is huge, as is the master bedroom. The other two bedrooms were a good size also. The living room area is adorable and comfortable. The outdoor space is fabulous, along with the beautiful views. It’s windy though. Hot tub is great! Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, coolers. Washer and dryer is a plus. The pool is gorgeous, but it’s cold, but that didn’t bother us as we beached it everyday. I give this property a big thumbs up, A+!!

Wally was great owner to work with. Very responsive both via email and over the phone. Villa was exactly as represented in photos; with the exception of the view being even better. Pool seemed a little cold but once you jump in it’s fine. Wally explained it’s heated using pump and solar panels so it’s the warmest about 2:30 in afternoon if I remember right. This time of year the strong breezes are very evident given the homes elevation; which is responsible for the unbelievable views, particularly to the the North. I spent every morning lounging in chair and staring at the Caribbean Sea to North. Just mesmerizing. We also used the hot tub nearly every night. Hammock got plenty of use as well. We also used the grill most evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked. Master bedroom/bath, living room and kitchen are very large. The other two bedrooms/bath, which are close, but detached from home was nice since our two children are both college age. I love the architecture of the ceilings. The mid island location made virtually everything accessible within 20-25 minutes with exception of far East end (Udall point) about 45 minutes away. It’s worth the drive though! We stayed at the villa for a week. This was the first time that I can remember that I wasn’t ready to go home and sleep in my own bed. I wish we’d been able to stay longer. I always ask myself if I would stay here again to rate the VRBO. In this case, we absolutely will. Very highly recommend this villa.

My wife and two daughters stayed at Brimstage I’ve the Christmas holiday. From the time Paul met us at the airport, until we had to unfortunately leave, we had the best time. Family flew in from other parts of the US, and all were jealous of our house and location. You can’t go wrong here, and the trade winds made it much more comfortable! We recently returned from a restful and relaxing stay at Brimstage Estate(Clairmont). Communication was excellent before and during our stay. Wally the host answered all my questions and even checked in on us during our stay. The property management company was also great to communicate with. The villa was exactly as you see in pictures. The views are beautiful and when the sun is shining is looks spectacular. There is definitely a breeze and it is great for keeping you cool on a hot day. However at times especially in the evening we did find the breeze a bit much. The outside of the villa has everything you need...comfy sun loungers, saltwater pool, hot tub, bbq, eating area and of course the relaxing hammock that was great for afternoon naps. The inside of the villa is also wonderfully equipped. Well stocked kitchen, lots of towels(bath and beach), washer and dryer, nice master bathroom and comfy bed. It was a plus having AC in the bedroom for sleeping at night. The villa is centrally located. We rented a car and easily drove to restaurants, into Christianstead and Frederickstead and beaches. The villa is very private and not surrounded by other properties which is a bonus if you are looking for quiet but also if you want to play your music. It's always 5 o'clock somewhere:) We have stayed at a few villas and this was definitely one of our favourites. We highly recommend it. Enjoy!

My wife and 2 kids (ages 7 and 10) absolutely loved our stay at Brimstage Estate! The views are beautiful and enjoyed from pool and hot tub! The villa is well equipped and the central location is perfect to explore various parts of the island. Wally and the management company are both very responsive and want you to enjoy your stay! Villa Brimstage was perfect for our family's recent 11 day vacation in St. Croix. This was our first time to this island, but we've rented many homes on VRBO. My husband and I agree Wally was the best host we've ever encountered. He kept in contact with us before and during our stay without ever feeling overwhelming. He also offered many helpful tips and suggestions for our stay. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. As for the villa, the views are stunning. We enjoyed gazing across the island in the mornings while sipping coffee and tea, and did the same with cocktails and wine in the evenings. The home is spacious, clean and well-decorated. Our kids (9 & 12) also appreciated having their rooms detached (but very close) to the main house. It gave them a little extra sense of independence and privacy. Brimstage is well-equipped and Wally provided some items most hosts don't typically offer, such as laundry detergent, hand soap, and plenty of toilet paper. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub most days, and there is plenty of space on the deck to lounge. It's also breezy on the deck, which keeps away the bugs. That's a plus for me! Another bonus of Brimstage is that it's centrally-located on the island, so it's not a far trip to most areas. If you are looking to visit St. Croix, don't hesitate to book Brimstage. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful villa with the best breezes in the Caribbean. The long range view is beautiful day and night. What pure joy it was to sit out on the deck and enjoy all the beauty the island has to offer. Loved hearing the wind blow through the trees, birds chirping away, and the dog barking chain on the island! :). The villa is stocked with anything you would need(the kitchen is HUGE). The beds are very comfortable., plenty of room for everyone to gather but have individual time as well. Give all the amenities a go...the pool, hot tub, hammock(afternoon naps are the best). We listened to a few "vintage" CD's(Foreigner, Bad Company, Kenny Chesney) during our stay that brought back happy memories. Our host Wally, was exceptional. Never intrusive but always provided helpful tips and advise to enjoy our stay at the right time. One day it was cloudy and a bit rainy. Wally suggested it might be a good shopping day! :) I can't say enough wonderful things about Wally and this villa. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it for their stay. I can't wait to return.

Everything about our stay at the Clairmont Estate (Brimstage) was marvelous. It's situated in a hilly area, which allows for almost 180 degree breathtaking views (day and night) from the pool/patio area. Our three teenagers had their own cabana while my husband and I were in the main house with our own lovely view of the ocean. The living areas of the house were inviting and comfortable and everyone could find their own place to relax or work (school was still in session for us). The kitchen was well-appointed and also conducive for studying or visiting over breakfast. We all enjoyed the wonderful salt-water pool and sat in the hot tub each evening to watch the lights around the island. Being up high, we had great cooling breezes, but there is A/C for sleeping, if desired. We were centrally located to both major cities and all attractions. We often went into Christiansted for dinner. Wally and the management team were great and very responsive, checking in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was well. We really appreciate all the personalized suggestions Wally gave us for activities and meals. It was a unique time to go, before the cruise ships return. And, we didn't need a COVID test to return to the mainland, but you will need one to go to the island (the USVI government makes it a very straightforward process). We hope to come back soon!

We spent a week at Brimstage and absolutely loved it! The views were amazing, the constant breeze refreshing, the pool was pristine and relaxing in the hot tub after the sun went down made each evening perfect. The home has everything you will need to enjoy this island paradise. We all have commented that we can’t wait to return.

What a wonderful property, management team and owner! We had a couple minor issues that were taken care of quickly and efficiently by the team. And Wally was so helpful and kind, taking the time to check in with us a couple days after our arrival to make sure everything was meeting our expectations and to answer any questions we might have. The entire experience was seamless. And the home with all it's amenities was terrific. A heated salt water pool, a hot tub and a comfortable bed . . . what a great way to spend a week in paradise!!! Mornings were spent on the patio or at the dining room table sipping coffee and looking at the view. The constant breezes kept the house very comfortable so AC wasn't needed except at night (as our personal preference) for better sleeping. We'd definitely stay here again!!!

We were greeted at the airport by Paul, who led us to the property. When we reached the driveway, we knew the views were going to be out of this world! The home gives you the most stunning 180 + degrees views of the island and ocean on both sides of the island. The sunrises over the bay are gorgeous! The home itself is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, which is always very important to me when I travel. We cooked and BBQ’d and used the home as if we lived there. It was fantastic!! Sitting in the hot tub was how we finished every evening and it was truly spectacular to see the full moon from that view. Wally was wonderful! We had an issue with the BBQ one day and he had someone there to fix it immediately. Afternoon naps in the hammock we heavily as you are gently rocked to sleep by the breeze. When we return to St. Croix, we will definitely stay here again! It’s located in the most centralized spot on the island. You are 20 minutes from the airport and from either Christiansted or Frederiksted, which was great since we are divers. Wonderful home with stunning views!

Brimstage is a large but comfortable house perched high on the hill to take advantage of outstanding views. We enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen many evenings and followed up with hot tub time. What a way to relax! I'm not sure I realized it from the listing, but two of the bedrooms are in an attached guest house. A great place for adults, but not ideal for small children. I would recommend this home for adults!

Brimstage was the perfect property for our family vacation, we had a fantastic trip to St. Croix largely based on our experience in communicating with Wally, the property location and amenities, coupled with a breath taking view. Wally is a fantastic host and communicates proactively along with providing great suggestions on maximizing our time on the island. The house is well stocked all the way down to beach chairs, coolers and towels. We took advantage of the pool, grill, hot tub, movies and time just lounging around the pool. The property is centrally located no more than 40 minute drive from the furtherest sites, most everything 20-30 minutes away. It was also nice for our 3 teenage kids to have their own space with the adjoining 2 bedroom bungelow. We will definitely book our next stay at Brimstage when we return to St. Croix.

I cannot say enough great things about this property and my family's experience there. Wally, the owner, is extremely helpful and responsive. The property managers are also responsive and helpful. One of them met us at the airport and led us to the home, called Brimstage. It sits on a hill with at least 270 degree views of Christiansted, Buck Island, Salt River and the beautiful sea. It is immaculately clean. The property managers will stock the villa with food and drinks for you for a fee if you ask. I recommend doing that and getting enough for just a few days; then you can shop or eat out. We went in July, the hottest time of the year and we were never too warm. The breezes are spectacular. Everything worked perfectly: the hot tub, the immaculate pool with a swim-up bar, the a/c in the bedrooms, the satellite tv, the wifi. I promise this will not be the case in all homes you look at on St. Croix. The master bedroom has a gorgeous en suite bathroom and a king bed. There are ceiling fans everywhere. The living area has a dining table, comfortable chairs and a sectional. You can open all of the doors in the main living area and let the breezes blow through the home, as you look out at the gorgeous views. The kitchen is fully stocked, better than any vrbo I have rented anywhere: coffee pot with filters, lots of pots and pans, tons of silverware, pasta pot, blender, waffle maker! There are beach chairs and boogie boards. My teenage daughter and her friend stayed in the room with two double beds, a dorm sized fridge and tv. That shares a bathroom with the other room with a king sized bed, a dorm sized fridge and tv, in which my teenaged son stayed. The location is ideal. Just a few minutes from Cane Bay, where you can swim, scuba dive, and eat. It's mid-island, so you can get to both Christiansted and Fredricksted easily. Wally will give you great tips on where to eat. On St. Croix, you definitely want to be up high on a hill for the breezes. I truly could not have imagined a better place to stay. No bugs, either!

My family of five just returned from the Estate Clairmont and it was outstanding! The villa sits at elevation overlooking Salt River Bay. The pool and hot tub were tremendous and the villa was clean and as advertised. I highly recommend this villa.

From a well appointed kitchen, to beach chairs and coolers, and everything in between. On site, Anne and Paul were great and answered all our questions and had great recommendations.
