We were just here for one night, but it is a very nice, clean, place to stay. Good location right by town so you can walk to most everything you will go to on the island in 10 minutes. We didn’t have time to use it, but it has a nice screened in porch as well.

We were lucky to have three sunny days on the island. The house is perfect for island visitors as bicycles are available and there is car parking right in front. The furnishings are practical and beds are comfortable. We would always come back to this wonderful place.

We loved the house had everything anyone we need very clean was in a great location it was nice weather for us and we went on all the trails so beautiful walked the beach had campfires would go back

My wife and I stayed at Sunny Oaks for one week in February of 2024 and would definitely recommend this place to others. The house was sunny, clean and had all the comforts of home. Located just off Main Street, we were able to walk anywhere in town in less than 10 minutes. Bryan and Becca offered to pick us up at the airport so that we didn't need to rent a car, and they left us a message via VRBO mid-week to make sure our stay was going well.

The property is in a great location and the island is quiet and very peaceful. The house is clean and has everything you need. The locals are really friendly. The night sky is amazing.

First time to Beaver Island and we had a blast celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary. House was in a perfect location, very clean and was extremely well equipped with everything that you would need. Becca does a great job with communicating. We couldn't have asked for a better experience at Sunny Oaks. Host communication was great right from the start. The location is perfect. The house was great for a 4-person stay. If/when we return to Beaver Island I would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely cottage location a short walk from the boat launch and town. The cottage is a well updated and maintained place with a cozy atmosphere that made me want to stay longer. A short walk to the pub, the deli and grocery store, or into town. People are very friendly and there is lots to explore on the island.

Clean, well-kept home with great amenities on BI in a great location. We enjoyed the front porch with our coffee every morning, grilling out dinner every evening and our nights by the fire pit. This is our 3rd year at one of Bryan & Becca’s properties and the first time at this property in particular. Can’t wait to come back to BI next summer!

Clean, well appointed property, with an easy walk to the grocery store and town. Check in process could be simplified and less error prone if give option to automate the second payment.

We had great, relaxing stay at this house! It was in walking distance of the town and fit our family of four perfectly. The hosts were very responsive to any messages and the house was very nicely stocked for cooking and fun indoor and outdoor activities.

Six members of our Book Club traveled to Beaver Island to learn more about the history regarding James Jesse Strang who was known as the King of Beaver Island in the 1850’s. He was the subject of the “King of Confidence” one of our book selections this past year. In addition to the convenience of having a place that was within walking distance of the town of St. James, the Toy Museum and the Lighthouse. The home was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed our front porch cocktail hour and biking around the island with the bikes provided by the hosts. I would highly recommend Sunny Oaks for families, groups of friends, or history buffs who are interested in getting the most of the Beaver Island experience.
