This property exceeded our expectations. We had four families for our annual summer vacation and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the kids enjoyed swimming throughout our stay! The ice machine was definitely a hit! Host was quick to respond to any questions when needed. Definitely recommend this property!

I couldn’t believe my eyes when we first walked in to the lake house. I did a quick walk through to see how everyone’s sleeping arrangements would be and I was very impressed because I have a big family and everyone was able to have their own place to sleep on. Everything in this house is soo beautiful and modern. The view towards the lake was amazing. Jeff was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had and very helpful before we even set foot in the house. I will be back very soon.

The host is super responsive and the house is perfect setup for any occasion. The property is absolutely more beautiful in person. Very clean and has everything to make your stay comfortable. Booked 4 days, group of teenagers & us parents. We loved the bedroom setups, separate wings for the teenage boys and girls with their own bathrooms. Lake view is gorgeous. We rented jet skis, kayaks and endless hours fishing & playing in the water. Great fun memories. Highly recommend the property and we would definitely book again!!

Ages 1-82 we had the best weekend ever on the lake. Family get together of 18 adults and 4 children. Everyone had a beautiful place to sleep with everything you could ask for in a vrbo! Jet ski docks, boat dock, ice machine, luxury home that is more wonderful than the description! Location and amenities were fantastic- only draw back was the owner is an Aggie! 😁 GO IRISH!

This VRBO is absolutely the best rental in this area. The house was pristine, filled with everything you need for a enjoyable vacation right on the lake. Spotless and the beds were so comfortable! The owner gave us all information needed prior to arrival and did a fantastic job communicating quickly when we reached out to him. I can’t rate this property highly enough, we will definitely be back!

Our experience was just as the other reviewers described. The house and the grounds are beautiful. Plenty of room for our 3 families- 6 adults and 7 kids. It was so relaxing and the weather was perfect. Kids and adults enjoyed fishing, playing games, long walks and solid quality time together! Thanks Jeff for helping us create forever memories!

I can’t say enough great things about this amazing Lakehouse. We stayed here for our sons wedding at Margot Hill in Malakoff (perfect location) It is literally a like walking in to a brand new home. The bunk room is perfect if you have lots of teens to accommodate…super fun room. The view, accommodations, communication,, amenities, fire pit, backyard, deck, wow, just everything we needed was really top notch! Can’t even imagine how much better it will be in the summer!

I have stayed at this property 3 different times now. The house is in a great location, very comfortable beds, you can rent a boat nearby and park at the dock. House kitchen is very well equipped so you don't have to worry about things like bringing salt, pepper, oil, foil, etc. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to have a fun family week/weekend on Cedar Creek.

Beautiful lake front home. The house is just what we hoped for. It is a perfect house for a couple small families (or a big family like ours) to get away and enjoy the lake. The owner was responsive and the home had everything we needed for a great week! We would definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at the property and it did not disappoint. The home is located on a beautiful property with exceptional views, great swimming and very nicely landscaped lawn. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, by the fireplace and on the patio. Views are great from all locations. Kids loved swimming and it’s near two inlets that are great for exploring on paddle boards or kayaks. Kids loved staying in the bunk room. Beds and couches are so comfortable and the inside is well appointed with everything we needed. We’ve stayed at a couple of properties on this lake and this is by far our favorite. Can’t wait to come back.

The Nance Lake House is set on a beautiful and well-manicured property on Cedar Creek. The house was very clean and spacious. The owners were easy to work with and helpful. Before booking a VRBO, I like to read the reviews to figure out what I might need to bring during my stay at the rental. In this case, I couldn't find any reviews that mentioned what extras I need to bring and it's because the owners stock the kitchen and bathrooms with all the paper goods and soaps you would possible need for a short stay! Even extra towels!!!The only thing I feel I should mentioned is I would say to ask about the items that are shown in the pictures to see if they are available during your stay. And with so many extras available, it would be helpful if the owners left an instruction book on how to use all the amenities. Wonderful house, property and owners! Can't wait for our next chance to stay!

We had a fantastic time at the Nance Lake House! Owner is very responsive and communicative. House was clean, well stocked & we felt at home. The outdoor fireplace was a hit with the kids to make s'mores. The large swing was a bonus that was enjoyed by all. Had a blast!!

We had a wonderful time at the Nance Lake House! I was not upset that the WiFi did not work (Jeff had warned us of a tower being worked on, not their fault) as it forced the kids to play games and hang more. My Aggie husband especially appreciate all of the Aggie touches around the property! Thank you!

We did a family trip for the holidays. It was short but fun. Nice area and clean house. Excellent views. Great customer service, Jeff always responses in a timely manner.

Our two families of four had a great fall weekend at this house. The bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom created a perfect hideout for our kiddos ages 4-7. We fished all day and used the outdoor fire place in the evening. The deck, dock and all the outdoor landscaping was nicely kept. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything was exactly as shown on the listing. It was a peaceful, lovely property, with gorgeous trees for days. I could have spent hours in the hammock listening to the wind in the leaves and the lapping of the waves. My 7 yo was mostly jazzed about nightly s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. The water was a little too chilly and deep for us to spend more than a small amount of time swimming, but it would be AMAZING in the summer.

A group of old friends and I got together here for a weekend trip. We found a fishing guide to take us out Saturday morning then spent the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful house and dock. Such a clean, spacious home. The dock set up was awesome as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

My family rented this property for a quick 3 night getaway in late June 2020. House was great! We fished, swam, and enjoyed time as a family. Kids loved the bunk room. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals each day. The living room had cozy furniture for relaxing. We had rain one afternoon, but the high quality internet allowed for easy streaming on the smart tv. We enjoyed s’mores one night at the outdoor fireplace which was a lot of fun. Overall it’s a great place and we’d stay again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend time relaxing by and on the water. The kids enjoyed the tree swing, fishing off the dock and countless hours playing in the water. Quite honestly, the adults in our group enjoyed all of this as well! The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two families with teenage boys and younger kids and included a ton of water toys and beach towels for everyone to use. The backyard was gorgeous, filled with trees that created the perfect canopy of shade. Jeff, the owner, was extremely responsive both through the VRBO app prior to us checking in and via text - responding almost instantly when I reached out with a question during our stay. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Beautiful property - very well maintained. Excellent accommodations for 6 adults and 2 grandchildren. Well located on the lake with beautiful East Texas lake views. The owner was very easy to work with. We'd be happy to book again.

We enjoyed our stay. There were 4 of us total 1 teen 3 adults. The house is well maintained and beautiful. Wildlife was fun to watch from the back porch. A little fox came across the deck two of the mornings, a HUGE Egret(?) was out near the water looking for fish. Turtles swimming by the dock while we were floating about and fishing. Boat rental a couple minutes away which was convenient. We would definitely stay here again. The owners were very quick to respond when we had questions. Awesome!

My family spent 3 days out at this property in early June. It's got great access to the lake, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and property is well maintained. We really enjoyed our time here and plan to be back in a few months.
