Whether you want to visit Palm Springs or Joshua Tree, this location is perfectly situated between both!

Such a great experience. Small property with amazing views, a super helpful and available host, and cool decor! Definitely a relaxing and quiet experience, about 20 mins from Palm Springs. We stayed here for DesertX and were 4 mins away from one of the exhibits and about 20 from most of them - great location. Would stay here again for sure!

My sister & I came down for the Desert X art exhibitions. Eric’s place was perfectly situated for that. But what stood out the most was the attention to little details in the decor and in the essentials that really made it special. The pool was wonderful too. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful mid-century micro-motel from the 1960’s, which has been carefully restored with tons of wonderful vintage KnickKnacks to add to the experience of each room. Great secluded location with a wonderful view of the desert (About a twenty minute drive from Palm Springs), as well as great communication with the property manager. Would definitely stay her again!

It was quiet and affordable , tho charged a cleaning fee ..the only carpet in the place looks as if it never had Been picked up and cleaned . The floors were the same way ,other people’s hair And dirt , even found a ring on the floor. The bathroom cubbords has to much clutter and there was stuff I had to put up away from my child ! The refrigerator had stuff in it expired and smelly ! We had a fly problem by our front mats to the point of having hundreds by door and no screens! The windows in the studio shake and are noisy ! No laundry service provided as stated on website ! Palm trees around pool Over grown too hard to Manuver to the lounge chairs . Netflix was slow and wouldn’t work half the time .

I liked the retro decorating of the property. I also should say that it was clean and described accurately. I must have overlooked the fact that it was a studio apartment which you describe as spacious. I'm sure that i would not describe it that way because it was not spacious. The other thing that I was disappointed in was that the pool and Jacuzzi was not heated. For what you charged to stay here, this should have been included. The virus situation was unprecedented and many of our activities were cancelled. I didn't realize that i would have to stay in the room so long. The location to Palm Springs and Palm Desert is good but the reason for the 2 stars is the location, which we didn't feel safe walking the area.

Room was clean. A bit smaller than it appeared in photos. Also quite far away from actual Palm Springs. Pretty much 1/2 hour from most things. Overall worth the money and a good experience.

We stayed at Eric’s place for 5 nights. The place was clean and perfect for a stay in Palm Springs. We were able to check in early and the process was very quick and simple. Eric was very responsive to emails before and during our stay. We would definitely stay there again

Property was lovely, quaint and clean. Neighborhood was a little questionable- but we were not familiar with the area. Would have enjoyed a bigger bed- even a queen should easily have fit in the location.

My daughter and I needed something small and affordable for the weekend for a cheer competition and this was perfect! Perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom. Very cozy and quaint! Eric answered any and all questions I had Before and during our stay. It was excellent. Will be back again for sure!

This property had an amazing view! Close to Palm Springs and other area attractions, my boyfriend and I were very pleased with our accommodations. We also thought the apartment was tastefully designed and budget friendly. We'd definitely stay here again, five stars!!

We had a great stay! A little weekend getaway with a lot of rest and relaxation. I loved the decor and everything was clean and well taken care of. Eric was an awesome host and has created a super cute getaway that is well-maintained and affordable. We stayed in the studio and I didn’t realize it had a double bed instead of a queen bed, probably better for one person. So next time we will stay in the one bedroom which Eric gave me a tour of and they are perfect! A little roomier with bigger beds. Overall great experience would definitely go back!

First, the entire booking process was made easy. Great job VRBO as this was my first time using the app. Secondly, I stumbled upon Eric’s listing and knew this is where my boyfriend (who loves everything modern) and I would enjoy our Palm Springs Labor Day weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at how accurate the description and photos were. A beautiful property with about 5 units, a pool, and hot tub. We met Eric on our first night while we were hanging out at the pool. He popped over and we chatted for a bit. Great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the area. We didn’t get to see everything he recommended but since were only in LA, we’ll certainly be back to do so. The room was spacious and perfect for our weekend ‘getaway’. Nice sized bathroom, good kitchenette with full size fridge & stove. The space is adequately setup and pretty much a studio apartment. Really clean and bright. I highly recommend this location. It was a nice 15 min drive into Palm Springs and easy access off the 10 freeway.

The Getaway was a beautiful little slice of paradise with beautiful views from the pool, great amenities, and hip 1960 decor.

Wonderful views. A bright, modern with retro vibe, property. Lovely patio and pool to share with a few other units. Meticulously clean, in and out, well appointed, private parking. We had a quiet, serene stay. Although we’ve been coming to the Palm Springs area for years, Desert Hot Springs was new to us. A couple of great golf courses here, and a nice reprieve from the busyness that Palm Springs can be, especially over the spring break weeks.

My wife and I wanted a getaway from snow and cold so headed to Desert Hot Springs. The unit we had was of 60's vintage with novelty items and reading material from that era which we found fun and interesting. The unit was clean and met all the needs we had. Only having six units overall made for a great stay and easy to meet others at poolside.

Everything you need, nice kitchen& bath. Comfy bed. Nice neighborhood.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this " back to the 60s " style studio apartment. The host Eric is wonderful to work with, he is very attentive to your needs and accessible.

House & Garden 1952 , Playboy 1969, Whatever your speed, Eric has you covered in this lovely and immaculate 60's style studio, chockfull of playful period pieces, and attention to detail: comfortable bed and furniture, more than complete kitchen, fluffy towels, classy toiletries, i-device speakers, flat screen TV with HDMI, and a great view. We went across the street to the rejuvenating natural waters of the huge pool and jacuzzis at the La Bella Spa, and got to enjoy the best of both worlds. We hope to come back soon to visit this cozy corner of the world!! July 2015

I recently spent a weekend at Eric’s property in Desert Hot Springs and had an excellent time. My exchanges with Eric were always very professional and his responses prompt (mine not so much…) The apartment complex has an awesome vibe and classic 60’s desert aesthetic, a nice view, and a well-kept pool. The apartment itself is clean, well-stocked, and impeccably decorated. My friend and I were both very pleased with the rental and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. July 2015

This was a perfect spot for me. I am a solo traveler, going to Joshua Tree. Eric was a great host, his place is awesome. The space was as shown, very clean and comfortable. The location was great,10 minutes to Palm Springs and 25 minutes to Joshua Tree. Eric was great to talk to, gave me ideas about evening use hot springs for $5.00, artists folks in Joshua Tree, and Pioneer Town. I will definitely be coming back, I wouldn't change a thing.
