Less crowded than a few miles up the road. The condo property could use some updating ( currently painting outside). But this condo was nice inside. Great location to the beach; less than a minute walk out the back door. The fans/light on the patio could be updated. The ice machine was not working properly. These minor issues are just suggested fixes. The condo was very nice and we enjoyed ourselves for our 1 week vacation. I would return.

Loved staying on the ground floor, easy walk to beach! Beautiful property.

We love staying here on the first floor with small children. Nothing better than walking right out the door to the pier to the beach, and pool is right beside this condo. It was great! We did have a little trouble getting in touch with property manager to ask about early check in but I am assuming it was due to the beach ban lifting and things were just busy. Will stay again!

We LOVE Shipwatch. This was our 3rd time, but first time in this unit. If you love crowded beaches and inconvenient living, this is not the place for you. If you prefer fewer people while still having access to all the fun of Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Perdido Key - stay here! The complex is small - between the 4 buildings there are fewer than 100 units and those are spread out but there are two pools - beachside and riverside - as well as gym/tennis. The unit itself was clean and had almost everything we needed - and what they didn't have was communicated well ahead of time (like beach towels) so there were no surprises. Check in/out was easy, too! Master bed and couches were very comfy, and the kids were fine in their rooms as well. We'd stay again!

This is our 3rd time staying at a Shipwatch condo and I have to say D104 is by far the best one we’ve stayed at! Very roomy and decorated nicely. Plenty of kitchen utensils/pans etc never had to worry didn’t have anything to cook/eat out of!

Love Shipwatch. Great for families or people who don't like large crowds at the beach. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. Not overcrowded and easy access to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: On the beach. End unit. 3 bedrooms,2 bath. Bottom floor that was great for Grandma.(building does have elevator) Flora/Bama is maybe 1 mile down the road. Walmart and Publix close. Kitchen stocked BUT.... Cons: Kitchen too stocked. Someone needs to go thru it and clean it out. Seriously. The whole living area needs to be decluttered. The furniture in living is extremely uncomfortable. Time to be replaced. We had lots of storms and had to be inside and because of this we left 2 days early. The tv needs to come out of the cabinet so the wireless can work better. The master bed needs to be replace. There is a huge dip in it. My back hurt every day I woke up. The shades in master don't stay shut so we had to buy painters tape to keep them closed. The Master shower area needs a lot more light. Can't see to shave. very dark. The big cabinet in the master needs to go. Put tv on wall and maybe a bench under. Great place, just needs updating and some decluttering.

Only negative was the outlets in the kitchen. None on the wall with the stove worked. Also there are loose floor tiles that pop up especially by the hall bedroom/bathroom entrance. Also saw a couple of huge rats in the dune area outside in front of the patio😳. Was concerning that they might enter the property

I cannot say enough about this property! When my family and I walked in the door, we were floored, everything was better than perfect! We will definitely stay here again, it was for sure home away from home. I have to say, I love the owner's taste!! This is more than a 5 star unit! I also wanted to give a shout out to Luxury Coastal Vacations, what a great group. They left such an impression on us and we would definitely book through them as well! Thanks again, Josie

House was clean and spacious with just a quick walk to the beach. Rooms were spread apart so some could sleep while others played games or watched a movie. Kitchen had lots of tools and plenty of space for two families to cook and store food. Loved the privacy even though we were so close to the water.

Love the first floor unit right on the beach! Great when you have younger kids!

This property sits directly on the beach! It is a quiet location fit for a family. We walked the beautiful beaches and enjoyed the dolphins and stingrays that visited the beach in the evenings. Reasonable rates for oceanfront rooms which are hard to come by. The property has updated bathrooms and kitchen with a full sized washer and dryer in the unit. Be prepared to supply your own paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags after the first roll, but that was not an issue for us. We enjoyed our stay very much! There is no hotel lobby on site in this building, again not an issue for us, but read your instructions carefully, they clearly tell you how to obtain your keys. Do not let the fine print of the agreement scare you away or you are missing out on a real steal of a deal! So may activities to do in this area it kept us busy for our whole stay. Will definitely return here again!

Beautifully decorated condo steps away from the beach. Perfect weather! We had a wonderful trip & hope to stay here again.

The condo was cute. We are a family of 8 and I really think the condo is meant for 6. Even the kitchen table only has 6 chairs, so we couldn’t sit together. I loved how close the beach was and it was beautiful and very clean. We didn’t use the pool it was not clean and the hot tub was broken. We should have been told that. I have a condition and needed that. There were a few things that were broke in condo. Leaking kitchen sink, one of the kitchen chairs cushion wasn’t screwed on so our little one fell through. Ceiling fans and lights on outside porch didn’t work. Back door lock was broken and hard to use. Master bedroom mattress was awful. There were many positive things though. Kitchen was fully equipped with any utensils or dinnerware we needed. Comfy living room furniture. It was super clean and felt comfortable. I also thought the price was super affordable. No place is perfect and we made some awesome memories!

This is a great condo! Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. Kitchen had everything we could think of. We were able to pack lighter, knowing we could do some laundry in the unit. Good beach and pool access. The only thing I would change is changing the patio set out for one that is bar height. You’d see more of the ocean over the dunes that way. We had an AC problem that was quickly resolved, we were happy!

Loved everything about it!

We met friends down at the Flora-Bama beaches for Labor Day weekend and this condo was perfect! The space was clean, well decorated, and we had everything we needed for the stay. Easy walk to the beach. No noise. Overall, great stay for this family of eight!
