We showed up by boat and the dock was easy to find. (if by boat don't forget about the tide) The place was close to lucaya village and perfect for us. The pool was wonderful and the neighbor was very nice.

If you are looking for a two bedroom, two bathroom condo that is well cared for and within easy walking distance of Port Lucaya, the Reef Golf Course, and of course, beautiful Lucaya Beach as well as a major grocery store this is it! We recently returned from a five-week stay at Lisa's condo which has all the amenities of home. She was a delight to deal with as was the on-site property manager, Ron, who were both very prompt in dealing with a couple of our very minor needs. It is a very quiet condo complex and we always felt very comfortable staying there. It was fantastic having a pool right outside our door and fishing off the wharf and watching the marine life swim by was also fun and relaxing. We would certainly stay there again without any hestitation. Joan and Doug

This was one of our family’s best vacations! The condo was safe and clean and had everything we needed as a family of 4 adults. We were able to walk many places from our home base. Lisa (owner), neighbors and the people of Grand Island were amazing! They told us where to go and what shouldn’t be missed. We rented a car using Lisa’s suggestion and we were able to explore the entire island and find all of the special places we were told about. Every day was so amazing!!! We would do this a million times over and we would stay here just as well.

We really liked the condo and location by the water and near Lucaya Market. We could also unwind by the pool after a long day. The area was quiet and safe. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils to prepare a meal. We felt at home. We highly recommend it.

We had a family emergency and found ourselves in Freeport, Grand Bahama needing to find a place to stay ASAP. Lisa, the owner, who lives in the States, immediately answered my SOS email, phoned me and had us in her condo within 20 minutes of my initial contact with her! And it was the perfect place to stay while we put our lives back in order that week. Her caring, attentive attitude meant so much. The condo is in the perfect location, it is furnished beautifully with everything you need and plenty more. It became a safe haven for us and helped to make a stressful week a lot easier. I cannot say enough about Lisa and her on-site caretaker and their loving and caring attitudes towards us. As she told me, "mi casa es su casa" and it was exactly that for us. Bless you, Lisa, and thank you for making available your wonderful home to us at literally a moment's notice and giving us a safe place to land.

Hot showers, good location, and nice pool. Would definitely stay again.

This condo is so close to everything, you will not need a car. Slow 20minute walk to groceries ($6 taxi back if you want). I walked there daily to pick up what I needed. And just 5-10 minutes walk to Port Lucaya Marketplace....bars, restaurants, live entertainment. And for anything else, the super friendly taxi drivers or buses will get you wherever you want to go. Our apartment had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable there.

Great location just off Bell Channel. More than enough room for the boat at the dock and easy to get to room from dock. Condo was in good condition and was adequate for our stay. We will return.

Home owner was very flexible and helpful in making our arrangements for our trip, particularly when we had to make changes to our planned itinerary. Thanks so much! We will be back.

We visited this property in the middle of March and I have nothing to say other than the homeowner was a true delight to do business with. She accommodated every question I had and during the reservation process provided more information than anybody would ever want. There was nothing left to worry about once I made the reservation, truly a wonderful experience. I have visited the Bahamas so many times I lost count, but over 50 years. The condo was well appointed with everything working as supplied. Needless to say we are already planning or next visit within the next 2 weeks. I need to repeat that the homeowner provided so much information and pictures that I felt like I already knew the place before I ever saw it. I am from the South Florida area and communication is important and we had excellent communication by email and phone. I am very familiar with the Port Lucaya area and this location is 5 minutes from the heart of Port Lucaya. If you desire to be in the thick of things but in a quieter area this it. Anything you can imagine about the beaches is true, close by and beautiful. Many thanks to the homeowner for being top drawer. Thank you

The condo was conveniently located. The unit was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The owner, Lisa, could not have been more attentive and helpful. It is sad that so many properties were destroyed or closed after hurricane Matthew. Hopefully, they will get things opened back up soon.

We arrived and asked Janice at Brad's Car Rental to call Juanita. Janice gave perfect directions as well as tour suggestions. Juanita was waiting outside of the property as advertised. She went over all of the amenities and we found that everything was as if you lived there. Overall for us the owner and property gets a rating of 10 out of 10.

My wife my sister and my brother in law stayed in this roomy 2 bedroom lower unit for 5 days. It was very comfortable and conveniently located. The neighbors were very nice and the local handy man Jimmy was an awesome guide and a wealth of information. I can't say enough about the hospitality and the great time we had. Really appreciate how affordable and fun it was. We will be going back and we will be staying in this unit if it is available. Highly recommend this unit and this vacation spot.

I really enjoyed my stay! This condo is cozy, comfortable and quiet, which I loved. It is an easy and quick walk to Port Lucaya, where I needed to be for business meetings during most of my stay. I could easily reach some of the beaches for a nice morning walk by the sea. On the few days I had off, l was delighted to be able to read and rest at the quiet patio and refreshing pool! Lisa is wonderful--so friendly and easy to work with! She responded quickly to my questions and provided me with lots helpful information to orient me to Grand Bahama Island. I felt really welcomed at her place. She made my first experience with VRBO terrific!

This was our first time renting a condo as opposed to doing the all inclusive thing. We had a crazy cab ride to Hampton Court, and upon arriving we were a little apprehensive (mostly because we didn't know the whereabouts of the necessities such as; grocery & liquor store, market place, restaurants, and beach). But once we got our bearings, we realized that the location of the condo is perfect. A less than 10 minute walk brought you to beach and restaurants. The grocery store & liquor store (located in the same plaza) was about a 15-20 minute walk, which we did, then coming back we took the bus ($1.25 each) which was very straight forward. There was 3 of us in the condo, so the 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms worked out perfect. The condo is on the ground floor with the back door leading directly to the patio with pool. This was where we had our coffee and breakfast every morning. We used the pool almost daily, but mostly enjoyed relaxing around it with a drink after a hard day at the beach. We had a couple of small issues in the condo which Lisa promptly resolved after we contacted her via email. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The dining area has a table for 4, but we ate outside on the patio. The living room is very comfortable. There is a land line which we used a couple of times for local calls. WiFi is available as well. The condo also backs on the canal, so there is a nice dock with picnic table which we used a few times. Lisa provided an information package in advance with everything that you need to know about the condo and the area which was very helpful. We were going to rent a car to do day trip but found out that they have a 3 day minimum, so we didn't bother. You don't really need a car if you are just going to hang out at the beach or Port Lucaya. We felt very safe walking around the area, even at night after a yummy dinner in the market place. Everyone that we passed along the route to the beach / market place, be it locals or vacationers, was very friendly and always said hi to us. We hope to make it back next year!

My family and I just returned from a vacation in Freeport, Bahama. We stayed at Lisa's condo in Hampton Court. This condo was absolutely perfect for the four of us!!! The swimming pool was right outside our door and it was spacious and lovely!! The location of this condo to Port Lucaya is amazing. It is just a quick walk to the marketplace where everything is happening. There are several bars, restaurants and great shops. You are also able to book any kind of cruise you want, snorkeling, fishing, diving, swimming with dolphins etc. All just a few minutes away from this Condo!! Also, Lisa was extremely helpful giving us all of the information we needed with respect to taxis, buses, grocery stores...anything we needed to know!! If you are planning a trip to the Bahamas I would STRONGLY recommend contacting Lisa to rent this condo!! Its proximity to the marketplace, its size and charm and its pool and location on the canals are just perfect and it is reasonably priced!!!!

This is a nice compromise between convenience and privacy. A short walk on a path to the main road then a couple of hundred yards down a path along side the road and you can be either at the Port Lucyan Market or on the beach. The condo is cozy and well appointed. I think Lisa the host thought of everything including hundreds of DVD movies coupled with Direct TV. We had looked for something on the beach and had no luck finding anything for the price on or near the beach at Port Lucya anywhere close to the price range. I checked out other condos in areas away from Port Lucya and I would not recommend them. It's nice to be able to cook meals in not only to save money but sometimes on a rainy day just to stay in. We travel a bunch and Lisa and Juanita are some of the best hosts we've encountered. Thanks Ladies!
