Five stars is not nearly enough to rate this phenomenal property. Horseshoe Cabin is tastefully decorated, clean, cozy, warm, and inviting. And that porch! The photos are gorgeous but don’t do justice to the actual setting. Mary Ann, the host/owner, is more than accommodating and helpful; she is generous too. All of this made for a perfect girls’ weekend.

Our family loves staying at Horseshoe Cabin. We have three kids, ages 8, 5, and 5 months and it was the best time. Perfect location to downtown yet still feels very private and surrounded by beautiful trees. The back deck and fire place was perfect for s’mores every night and the cabin is so comfortable and has everything you need. Mary Ann is an amazing host and makes each stay as perfect as the last! We can’t wait to go back!

We had an incredible stay here. The pictures are beautiful, but seeing it in person really exceeded our expectations! The location is perfection. It is close to town as well as some amazing hikes. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the evening to take in the beautiful sunset views. We couldn’t have been more pleased with it. Highly recommend!

What a special place for our annual girl's weekend! We loved every bit of our getaway and our host was extremely thoughtful and accomodating. The decor and small touches throughout the cabin tell a story and added to the coziness of our stay and the proximity to downtown was very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Spent 2 nights in Horseshoe Cabin…. Was awesome!!! Would definitely recommend it and will come back. Location is secluded and peaceful. Perfect!! The back porch was where we spent most of our time. Mary Ann was an excellent host and prompt in responding to questions. The listing was very accurate and the cabin was clean.

Everything in the cabin was clean and good quality! The property manager stayed in contact and was very friendly. She made sure all of our needs were addressed and made the whole process incredibly easy. Would definitely visit again! The back patio was perfect to see the fall foliage!

Absolutely fantastic! Beautiful place, great location, had everything you could possibly need. The best beds ever as well !! We were there for a wedding week -end and only stayed two nts, so wish we could have stayed a week or a month!

The Horseshoe Cabin is FANTASTIC! The house was very close to downtown area, but in a quiet and private setting. The cabin is decorated beautifully. The cabin was very well-stocked with literally everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, plus a few more things. Mary Ann is a wonderful host who communicated very well before and during the stay and was very responsive to questions. If we are fortunate enough to come back to Highlands, we will definitely stay at the Horseshoe Cabin again.

Wow! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Very clean and well equipped cabin. Mary Ann was extremely helpful in so many ways...and so nice. Huge screened in deck on back with wood fireplace was very nice for the cool weather we encountered. So relaxing and quiet...and bug free. Comfortable beds and high end everything made it the Perfect cabin for us. I would highly recommend the Horseshoe Cabin for you. We've already booked our next stay.

Such a picturesque cabin- reminded me of a movie set! You feel like you are somewhat ‘in the woods’ but very close to town and neighbors as well which I prefer. The photos don’t do this home justice, it is immaculately furnished and beautiful high ceilings and wood work. The screened in back porch is huge and beautiful for all four seasons with the fireplace! We had a wonderful trip and the host couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thanks!

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Mary Ann is a welcoming and helpful hostess. It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and had plenty of space. Favorite part is the screened in porch and fire place. 10/10 in our book and will definitely be back!

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The cabin is precious and everything was perfect for our girls weekend. The owner is fantastic! She was quick to respond if we had a question and checked in with us on occasion during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be coming back! The property is stunning, exactly as depicted in the photographs online, with a huge wonderful deck to enjoy. So many positive ways I could describe this FAB cabin. Booking was super easy, Mary Ann's communication prior to arrival and her overall hospitality was top notch (for the love of Martha she left us fresh pumpkin bread). The back porch fireplace, amazing linens, and gorgeous decor were spot on. The location is perfect for golf, hiking and perusing downtown Highlands. We will definitely be back next year! -K

This was the perfect spot for our stay in the Highlands! We were in town for a wedding but wanted some time for our extended family to hang out away from the wedding activities. The house is fabulous. Every detail has been well thought out. Mary Ann is a wonderful communicator and responds to questions quickly. We can't wait to stay again when we have more free time to just enjoy this fabulous property....especially the screen porch! Perfect for watching football!

Mountain weekend
Our stay was so lovely. The home was magnificent and had more creature comforts and amenities than we could have asked for. The location and neighborhood was perfect for an escape from the city and the heat of the summer. House was fully stocked with all of the cooking needs we had to stay in and enjoy our time together as a family. Was also convenient to downtown. Looking forward to our next visit.

This property is amazing!
We just got back from our lovely 3 day stay at Horseshoe Cabin. The place is immaculate and the host, Mary Ann, made sure we had everything we would ever need for our stay. From homemade pound cake to Irish Cream to blankets on the beautiful screened porch…so many extra touches that made our stay exceptional!
The setting is amazing~ you feel like you are in a treehouse with all the huge trees and greenery around.
It is definitely a 5 star place…and we will definitely be back!

Great Family Getaway
The property was perfect for us and our two small children. We spent most of our time on the amazing screened porch and it is really easy to get from the house to downtown Highlands. Mary Ann was a wonderful host and communicated with us leading up to and during the stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back.

The property was amazing!
we did not get to enjoy all it has to offer.. we were so busy with the wedding festivities .. it left very little time to enjoy the porch, fireplace etc.
