Fenced back yard was great for our 2 dogs. Some of the denser parts of the landscaping was a challenge at times as our dogs would like to go into the bushes where we could not see them well. Kitchen is well appointed. Overall we had a great stay!

Great stay! Enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Beach was awesome-not to crowded.

The house was great. you could be close to one another without feeling crammed or too close together, the property was quaint yet spacious. The kitchen counters were adorable. The outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach, just remember to have towels and not track water in the house! the front porch was so wonderful, the house itself felt more home like than a rental. Very welcoming and, this was our first vacation with friends and personally I think it was perfect.

This is probably our 10th trip the SGI. This house was, by far, the best equipped house we have visited. Only complaint is July on the Forgotten Coast. Whew, heat index of 105 all seven days. But that didn’t stop us. This house just about everything we needed. Pease note, no need to buy lighter fluid. Check the storage room below before you go to the store. Lol. Thanks Laura.

We had the best week! The house had everything needed it was like being at home away from home. We loved playing corn hole in the evenings. The kitchen was very well stocked for all our cooking needs! The walk to the beach was so easy with the access right across in front of the house. We hope to be back very soon!

Great rental property , was perfect for our family of 6 and short distance to the beach

We loved all the extra's. Owner has great beach chairs, great wagon to pull to beach. We had plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a nice plus!! Owner has the nicest park style grill I've seen in all the years we've stayed at SGI. She also has a smoker available. The backyard would be great for pups! We loved the beach access, the path was next to house. It was an easy walk to beach.

The owner was very helpful throughout the renting process. The house is a great place to have dogs and is very close to the beach which is dog friendly.

We had so much fun at Family Traditions! The quaint decor gave it that special “ beach vibe” The location was just a short walk to the beautiful beach! The outdoor shower was large and amazing! If we ever visit SGI again, would definitely rebook!

We loved our long weekend at Family Tradition. Laura was a spectacular hostess: lovely and super responsive. The house is beautifully appointed, everything you need for a great gathering. The house is well laid out so feels both spacious and yet cozy. Short walk to the beach and fully equipped with everything you could need. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The house met all our needs, the priority for us was the close walking access to beach across the street. Next was the needs of our dogs that was met with the fenced yard that was well maintained so we did not worry about escaping dogs:)

This property was just as it was shown and we had the best communication with Laura who handles this property. She was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. This was a convenient location for us at a reasonable price. We were close to beach, to restaurants, and to the bay.

Exactly what we wanted (minus the abnormal cold weather)!! The property is cozy and immaculate! Far enough away from everything to not feel crowded, but also close enough to lots of points of interest. Would definitely consider booking again if our business brings us back in that area! Thanks!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Everything we needed for the beach was available especially for our two daughters who are 5 and 6 yrs. old. We loved the outside shower, lots of privacy. The owner was there for us for any questions we had and very nice. The house was clean but I think it could have used a deep cleaning, Overall, I would stay here again and would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! When I booked the property, my only concern was that it was marketed to families with dogs, and that there would be dog hair etc. The house was very clean! And we loved the fenced in yard for our three year old (one of the reasons we booked the property). The kitchen was well stocked- even had an electric mixer and muffin tins. Plenty of dishes and space to cook. The living area was cute! There was a play area with kids books under the stairs. King bed was super comfortable. The provided beach chairs were top notch and there was pretty much everything we needed for a fun beach day- umbrella, sand toys. Bikes (didn’t use but they were there). Would highly recommend staying at this property. Communication with our host was easy too. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

We loved our stay at "Family Traditions" - the house was a great space for our family, very clean, and easy access to the beach. They also had everything we could possibly need for a fun fall break!

I booked this property mainly due to the fenced in yard as we planned to travel with our two golden doodles. Joining my husband and I were my two sons 10yo and 15yo and our 80 year old parents. This home was absolutely perfect for the week. The home owner has thought of everything. Plenty of towels and wash clothes for our group. There was a storage area under the deck full of the best beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach wagon, a kite, pretty much anything you would need for a day at the beach. The entire place was fenced in. We could sit on the deck and enjoy coffee while the pups ran down to the yard and came back up. It made staying the week so much easier. We always like to go to the local fish market and cook. They had a huge stockpot in the storage area and we made low country boil one night and fried a bunch of grouper and shrimp another night. The kitchen had everything we needed. I loved the knife set so much that I ordered on for home and it was here waiting for me when I got home. I can rave enough about this house and how wonderful of a week we had at this beautiful home. Best part, it was literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I will be looking to book this property again soon!

Very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, nice location for walking to beach, fenced in yard for our pups, comfy beds, outdoor shower was awesome, beautiful deck to enjoy our coffee and sunrise.

We spend 5 days at Laura’s property. It was beautiful - just as advertised. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. The kitchen has everything we needed and the house had plenty of amenities . A short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. The island itself is wonder and relaxed.

This house is super cute and had everything we needed for 2 adults and our 2 pups. The fenced yard and outdoor shower were dreamy, not to mention the closet with beach supplies to ensure a comfortable full day at the beach. Thoughtful touches and comforts everywhere. This was a wonderful house. The house was very clean and was a short walk or 3 min drive to the beach. The house had a small play area for young children and a stocked bookshelf and puzzles for the adults. Comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. I would have stayed another day if it was available. There are not many food options on the island. There is a small grocery store on the way in. Make sure you plan your menu ahead. Otherwise, a lovely experience.

I told Laura I would not leave a bad review but this house was in such a mess that I’m retracting that so others won’t have a ruined vacation! 1) ice maker was broken & the freezer would not freeze our meats & ice cream. 2) we had roaches & sugar ants on the kitchen counter & the cleaning person had just left. A roach even got in our bread with the twist tie on it. .We had roaches on the kitchen counter 3 times and several around the house during our stay. 3) the roof leaked in one bedroom & the owner knew it but failed to let us know until we had arrived for check-in. 4) the upstairs shower smelled like urine 5) the vent downstairs was covered in dust which lead me to check the filter in the hallway. It was thick with dust 6)there was food stains running down the kitchen cabinets 7) the “white” couch was so disgusting, it was stained all over with God only knows what. The chairs were dingy & matted. Laura even told me she was going to get rid of the chairs & it will be none to soon. I actually washed blankets to spread over the furniture it was so nasty. Two of the recliners were full of sand and this was right after the cleaner left as well. 8) there’s a railing that has came loose & a rusty nail on the deck which scared me to death with our 4 year old granddaughter. I wasn’t sure how sturdy the rest were., 9) there were empty coke cans etc in the outdoor shower. 10) the tub downstairs drained so slow you had to stand in 3 inches of your own bath water because it would not run out. 11) there was some unknown white stuff all over both of the glass sliding doors going out to the deck. I don’t know what it was but it was white like milk. 12) I gave Laura a 30 minute notice of our arrive. We arrived about 4:10 and the cleaning lady was still there. Checkin is at 4PM. Laura knew the cleaning lady was still there but failed to let us know until we were on the doorsteps! She said the previous people had checkout late left the house a mess. It was pouring down rain & we had been driving 4 hours with a dog. We wanted to get out and use the restroom & relax. The cleaning lady told us she was not done & needed more time. We kindly obliged & found a place to wait. About 30 min. later we got a text that the house was ready. I took pictures of the filth! Laura has offered no compensation whatsoever. She said she would have found us another place had she known. I had told her it was nasty on the phone the first morning!

Perfect for our family of five adults and dogs.

Laura was Amazing to work with!! She had everything stocked for our family and our furbabies. We had no need to pack any beach supplies or cooking supplies. She has even stocked with beach towels, indoor and outdoor water bowls for the puppies. Laura even called to make sure we made it in with no problems. The house was absolutely perfect for our family. House was clean,beds were comfy. Just a great house! She has definitely set this house up for you to just pack your clothes and not stress with kids or dogs supplies. We will definitely book this house again!!

Our family enjoyed this property so much! Minutes away from the beach! Great outdoor shower and fully equipped kitchen!! We will treasure our time spent here and St George Island!!

House was super clean and exactly as described. The best back yard for dogs on SGI!!! Well-fenced and shady. Everything was perfect. Sure hope to make it back again someday.

Great location with a short walk to the beach or bay. Perfect place for families. The host was very thoughtful and made the renting process easy. Would recommend!

Terrific pet friendly house. Great back yard with lots of shade and plenty of room for our fur babies to run around. Inside the house had ample room for the 5 adults. The bay side of island was perfect for watching the sunset.

Great location and backyard for kids and fur babies. Very easy to communicate with owner. Everything you need for a beach vacation. We loved it all, however spent more time at PJ'S, Paddy's, and Coffee and Cream. Easy walk to beach (couple minutes). Two minute drive or 10 min bike ride to center of town. It was a very special vacation. We hope to be back soon and rent again.
