This is a beautiful roomy condo with everything needed inside and out for a relaxing stay with family. The large pool with hot tub and the shuffleboard area was a big hit. Sunny areas as well as shade was available and so close to our condo. The large grassy area off the lanai was enjoyed. Although, not located on the beach side of the road, many beaches are nearby. We enjoyed checking out different ones.

We had 10 of us. Grandparents, 2 sets of parents and 4 grandkids ranging from 8pm this to 7 years old. The place was perfect. It provided our own space and family space. There was a Pack n Play on site so we didn’t need to pack one. We needed a high chair and the property manager located one and dropped it off. It made it so much easier to feed the baby. There was construction on the unit next door but the construction workers started well after we were up, and closed down for the day so it wasn’t bothering us when we put the kids to bed. They kept everything tidy while they were working. There were beach toys, lawn chairs and plenty of beach towels. If you go, stop and grab life jackets, sunscreen, and goggles at Walmart. We spent a fantastic week at Koa Resort unit 5F with our 2 children, their spouses, and our 5 grandchildren. The pool was a huge hit, spent time there every day. The condo was pretty much exactly as described, with space for everyone, and perfect for our stay on Maui. Kelli was quick to respond if we had concerns, and so wonderful to talk with. Nice central location with beach across the street. We made some beautiful memories!

Our family had a great time staying at this family friendly rental, nice layout, and location.

The gift basket was a nice touch. We thought from the photos it was on the beach but it isn’t however it’s only a short walk

Great pool! jacuzzi, tennis courts, ping pong, foosball, for kids-need new ping pong paddles and a bigger jacuzzi would be nice since so many adults/kids want to use it.

Overall our stay was fantastic. The unit was located close to the pool and beach. The amenities in the unit were above our expectations. We would definitely recommend this unit to any family looking for a vacation rental.

The place was excellent as a base to visit the island but was not the scenery we pictured for Maui- had to visit other areas to see the beauty of Maui. Also, the house itself was right on the road which was somewhat loud when outside or on the patio, otherwise was Not an issue. Overall house was great, sleep sofa was comfortable and house was well stocked- excellent stay.

Everything was just as described, there were no surprises. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 children. Everyone had there own private space and the communal space was inviting and spacious enough for all. The condo grounds were immaculate and the pool was crystal clear. The proximity to the ocean was great. Right across the street from the turtle sanctuary and a long stretch of beach. Great for the little ones and those that want to boogie board. The communications from the property management were comprehensive. I highly recommend this property.

Aloha, Kelly is an amazing host! I looked for an iron in all the rooms and did not find one and called Kelly; she went out of her way to get one for me . I loved the freshness and cozy vibes this condo offered . My kids loved that the pool was literally in front of us . The little patio was everything and was where we would chill after a long day. I have no bad things to say about this condo . Kelly you and your team are awesome. I cannot wait to go back .

This condo was a good set up for our family of six adults and 3 kids. Had a lot of road noise as it was on a corner...was well equipped and close to a beach that was very quiet....needed a little tlc here and there...but all in all a good experience...

Great facility we had a great time we celebrated wedding anniversaryies birthdays and and a graduation with a masters. Group of 10 it was ample room for everyone.

Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary very much. The location was very convenient and the pool was wonderful. The pictures were very accurate and the televisions and wifi were the best we've experienced at other VBROs in Hawaii.

We were very happy with the accommodations. The apartment had everything we needed to both cook and enjoy the beach. It was probably the best equipped rental we have ever experienced.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Well kept and Kelli the manager was very helpful we would definitely stay there again.

This place was very kozy. Kitchen was amazing. Furniture was perfect. If you have small kids they have a lot of amenities you'll need. The place could use a little TLC. No remotes for down stairs Bedroom AC. We had to use the one from the living room. A few faucets needed some work and a little bit of caulking would go along ways. If this place had its own little trolly for garbage and groceries it would be really helpful as well. But I would definitely stay there again. Location is great. All in all beautiful place. Few minor things and it's definitely 5 stars

We had a great family vacation. However, the place needed a good cleaning. Woodwork, windows and floors were not very clean. Towels looked well used and kitchen had one badly used bake sheet that was unusable. Two spoons were stuck together with tomato sauce. The bathroom upstairs has rotting wood. The condo has great possibilities but just needed a good cleaning. Thank you for letting us use your home. One other thing-washer didn’t work.

This townhome was very comfortable for our family of 9-nine, however there was some inconveniences which prevents me from giving an excellent review. The KOA resort property is within walking distance to the beach approximately 1 block or a 5 minute walk. This townhome is located on the very end of the property. The kitchen was upgraded and pretty much had all the amenities you would need for a big family. All the bedrooms were fine, except for underneath beds and the ceiling fans which needed cleaning. Most of the bed sheets and pillow cases had to be washed the very first day we arrived before using them because they had a funky odor. Same with towels. The washer and dryer worked well. The A/C split units worked fine except for the unit downstairs above the sliding glass door had a leak. The bathrooms were updated and all worked fine, except the guest bathroom downstairs the door could not lock. It had to be blocked from inside. Neither patio sliding doors (upstairs and downstairs) closed nor locked properly. They were rough to close and the screen door upstairs couldn't hang on the frame. Also, the downstairs patio sliding glass door had been broken and was faced with a thin sheet of plywood instead of glass. It felt a little unsecured. The living room tv remotes and cable boxes all need to be replaced. The tv remotes were outdated and didn't connect with the cable box sensors. You literally have to place the remote 2 to 5 inches from the box to change channels. If the owners or property managers take care of the things mentioned above this would have been an excellent review.

Let’s just say the pictures were better than the reality. It was kind of like Holiday Inn quality, met our needs in a functional way. Several issues were annoying, sliding doors were difficult to operate, screen on upstairs slider kept falling off. Also the glass on one of the living room slider was broken and replaced with plywood, making an already dark room darker. Asked for a rebate for this issue and didn’t get one. The AC unit in living room leaked lots of water when we ran it, enough to soak the rug and several towels, reported it and never heard back. I was looking forward to pool time but the pool area was so unappealing we ended up never using it. It could use some major upgrades. My pool at home is far nicer. I think I would have been ok with this property if there was any decent outdoor space to chill in, but the patio of the unit was dirty, both the furniture and the area. It was too small to accommodate more than 2-3 people The location was convenient, beaches, restaurants, hiking , aquarium all close. Management was generally responsive, though check in was late because they needed more time to clean after previous guests. It was okay, but I won’t be back. I need a touch of charm or luxury on a vacation. This property lacked either.

We had a great stay at this property! Everything was just what we expected. The place was clean and welcoming. It was full of all we needed, it was a nice location that made driving around easy. The condo was easy to get cold and keep cold, which was a big deal in the heat! The grounds are pretty and inviting. Lots of amenities and extras.

Close to beaches, across the street.2. Close to very nice and sizable pool.3. Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice size.4. Bathrooms were fine and well stocked.5. Beach accessories were very nice and used a lot.6. Tennis court was available and easily accessible.7. A/C and fans were generally good.8. Kitchen, appliances, and dishes, etc. were good.Cons:1. Cleaning had not been done very well upon arrival, this was a major issue for the ladies (sheets did not appear to have been replaced; maid came by day two and re-cleaned).2. Sliding door to patio was very difficult to move and needs replacement.3. All cushions and pillows need thorough cleaning. Two chairs in living room were worn out and dirty.4. Front downstairs bedroom; had to tape a towel over the window.5. Several lamps were in bad shape and should be replaced.6. Master bath downstairs toilet handle had to be held down for a ten-count in order to flush completely. Towel rack upstairs fell out.7. Some lights did not work (living room center light on fan; downstairs lanai). Ceiling fan in loft broken.Suggestions:1. Leave clear instructions regarding lights and operation of fans & A/C. Even simple labels on switches as to which lights would help.2. Sliding door and blinds/shade in living room should be replaced.3. Gate by S. Kihei road should have keyed lock like pool so tenants can easily get to beach, Vs walking all the way to the parking lot and back.4. Re-work flushing mechanism in Master bath toilet.5. Add blinds or shade in 2nd downstairs bedroom.6. New lamps as needed.7. Living room track lights had to plugged and unplugged to use; need another solution.

We had a large group and it accommodated us all comfortably. The pool was lovely and the grandkids enjoyed it immensely. Proximity to restaurants, beach, and other activities was convenient. Our family had a lovely time

We were a family of 7 all wanting to stay together so this property was perfect for us. Each couple had a king size bed and the two kids had the loft upstairs... make note, there is no door to the loft so privacy could be a concern for some people. For us, it was fine. The pool is gorgeous and clean and the suite was the right size for what we needed. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed to make breakfasts, smoothies, etc... the fridge made ice, etc... The unit is right on the corner of a busy street so you can hear trucks driving by, so make note of that if that would bother you. It didn't bother us at all. The unit is perfect for families with kids! It's nice, but not so nice that you would be stressed out having kids there lol. If coming back with a large group again, we would re-book here for sure! We appreciated having a space for our family and appreciated being able to stay here! Mahalo!

KOA Resorts is an excellent location to stay at on Maui. Roughly 1/3 of a mile North of the Kihei shopping areas, directly across the street from the beach. This property was plenty big for the 8 adults in our group - 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms - nice size living room, outdoor patio. Kitchen is newly remodeled. Unit is clean and everything is up to par. The unit is an end unit, right off of S. Kihei Road, so it gets a bit of road noise early in the morning (everyone is heading out surfing or paddling around 6am). Just bring a white noise machine, only one bedroom (on ground floor) is affected by the noise in the AM. One of the bathrooms on the main floor doesn't have a closing door - more of a slider which is cool, but has gaps on both sides because of the hanger. Some privacy is lost if you have to go to the bathroom for your roommate. Unit had plenty of beach stuff out on the patio - couple of boogie boards, plenty of beach towels, some kids beach play stuff, etc. Koa Resorts has a very large pool that is quite nice, and a small-ish hot tub. There are also a couple of tennis courts but we didn't try them out. Enjoyed the unit thoroughly and would recommend to anyone looking to rent it.

Love the location in central Kihei; close to beach and shopping. The communal pool, hot tub, and bbqs were a great bonus. As for the unit itself; it is close to a busy road (S. Kihei road) so there's a significant amount of traffic noise if you're relaxing outside on the lanai. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated nicely. There were a few areas that needed some attention; the sliding glass doors to the lanai are extememly heavy to open; likely need repairs. Multiple door knobs in the place were loose or falling off. Only 4 butter knives in the whole house. The amount of dishwashing tablets and garbage bags provided was a bit skimpy considering the length of stay and the number of people that the house holds. Disappointed to find out there is no on-site recycling. Overall, love the property and complex and it's location/amenities; however, some TLC is needed for the unit itself.

Thank you for a really great stay at your lovely condo. It has great living and sleeping space. The beds were all very comfortable. Kitchen is somewhat well stocked, could use some pots to cook in. It has been nicely updated and has a few idiosyncrasies that sometimes comes with remodel projects. But honestly, nothing that was a game changer. We very much appreciated the boogie boards, towels, umbrellas, and cooler left to use. The pool and hot tub were great. And we loved watching the many turtles at the beach across the street. The unit was very clean when we arrived. I did try multiple times prior to our trip to get in touch with the unit manager. I tried through VRBO, calling, and responding to the emails sent but got no response. It is confusing to get emails for payment from both VRBO and another rental agency and I wanted to clarify that payment had been received. Although I didn’t get to talk to anyone, clear instructions for the unit were emailed to me a couple weeks before our trip which reassured me. Overall, the unit was great and I would happily stay there again.
