Really liked the hot tub and fire pit

Loved the close beach access, firepit and hot tub. It is a cute house and could use a few updates like new carpet, bedding, furniture.

Great place to stay! Made our trip to the coast so enjoyable!

We stayed for Christmas and had a blast. What's not to love about the beach! The house had a large living room that accommodated our family of 7, along with our Christmas Tree. Hot tub was magical. The house was not super updated and the main bathroom was quite small but hey, it's a rental, not my own house so it was livable for the week we stayed. One of the major down falls was the washing machine. The washing machine was not working and we were not told. When we decided to do a load, the washer overflowed. So I spent the afternoon cleaning up, not how I wanted to spend my vacation. Then on top of that, we weren't able to wash any clothes or towels. Which was hard because as a family of 7 at the beach, you could image how much washing we had.

TIP FOR FUTURE GUESTS: There's a little piece that spins on the water spicket (where water comes out for baths) If you just pull it down while running water the shower will turn on. This home was perfect for our family of 10. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking supplies and even some spices. The hot tub and jetted tub was a very nice and much appreciated amenity. The beach is literally a 5 minute walked down the street. The beach was pretty secluded and there were tons of whole sandollars. The kiddos love the upstairs play area and the sea themed mural. We were pleased to find the upstairs futon was replaced with a twin trundle bed. There were a few issues with our stay but they didn't hinder the fun that was had. The spiral staircase was a little bit shaky and narrow. We did find a sharp screw in the carpet of one of the bedrooms but luckily an adult found it before a toddler. We did have a hard time figuring out the showers but luckily we got it on our last day. The main bathrooms toilet paper holder was falling of the drywall do that was a little annoying.

Wanted so much to like this place. Unfortunately found it to be in quite a state of dis-repair. From leaking gutters at front door, loose step boards, multiple fixtures loose on walls and shower rod that fell off in master bath. As well as overall uncleanliness that we noticed the longer we stayed. Ended up moving for the last two nights at the coast.

If you’re looking to travel the coast, this home is located perfectly to go either direction - or to even pop in to Portland for dinner/shopping. The drive from any direction offers beautiful views. The home itself did not meet expectation. It was not well stocked, there was dog hair, stains and sand on the living room furniture. The house also had a weird odor that seemed to stick to our clothing. The master bathroom had mold/mildew surrounding the tub, toilet paper holder falling off of the wall and a carpet tack strip sticking up between the bedroom and bathroom floor. The master bedroom sheets had stains on them. Also note; there is no AC - although it shouldn’t be needed, it would’ve been nice to clear the musty/humid air, especially at night. The house is also not as room as it appears in the photos and the pirate ship sand box is no longer there. For the price, all of these things shouldn’t have been a concern.

We had a great time staying at this property. Close to fishing and crabbing which is why we selected this place. The electricity did go out for multiple hours and we couldn’t find a flashlight so that may be something to have at the house.

This house was perfect for our family and we loved that we could bring our dog. It has everything we needed and was a quick walk to the beach. Loved using the hot tub and the fire pit was a lot of fun.

Really good location. Much of the house is in need of updates, especially the tub/showers which were in pretty rough shape. Pet dander on couches. Hot tub is a nice plus.

Beautiful home. Very small kitchen. Quiet neighborhood except for the wonderful frogs singing at night! Short walk ( for us) to beach. Beautiful beach! A couple of short trail's to enjoy the area scenery.

With the exception of the toilet paper hanger falling out of the wall in the front bathroom and the dirty barbecue, it was excellent.

Was perfect for what we were looking for. Quite and tucked away in nice subdivision. Beach was good walk away.

It was an awesome house that was fully prepared for kids and adults. Set up in a very functional way with a area for the kids to play. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus at the end of the day! I would highly recommend. The beach was an easy short walk and it was so fun!

This place was perfect for my family. Plenty of space, and the kids loved the loft. The hot tub was such a bonus on chilly days.

This was our second stay at this property, and we love it! It’s so homey and the layout is perfect for our family of 5. Walkable to the beach, really big well maintained hot tub, well stocked kitchen and lots of towels for our family to use. Can’t wait to come back!

The house is roomy and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub is huge and (mostly) private. The house was very clean and tidy, and no overpowering chemical smells in house or on linens. 4/5 stars because the grounds crew arrived at 9:00 and used a weed eater right outside the bedroom window, which woke us up.

Spacious home in a great area. Calm neighborhood. Some minor wear and tear in need of repair.

The garage was full of toys, bikes, a Foosball table, and corn hole.

Wonderful accommodations

Great location & property!

We (group of friends) planned a beach getaway. And it was a wonderful relaxing trip. Open floor plan allows lots of mixing. Kitchen was important since we cook for ourselves and, while lacking counter space, this one was well stocked. Was a little disappointed in the outdoor space. No privacy and poor landscaping. Also no view of any nature. But beach was readily accessible and enjoyable for walking.

We had an amazing time in Windsong. It was very clean and so charming. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. The kids loved the loft upstairs and slept up there. We loved it and would love to stay there again.

Everything was perfect during our stay at this property. It is a beautiful property inside and out! We love being so close to the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks along the beach side. The house had everything we could hope for… A hot tub, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds! We were pleased that it was very clean as well. Thanks for providing such a great place and we plan to return next year!

We loved our stay. It was close to the marina for crabbing and the hot tub and fire pit were perfect after long days adventuring around. We loved walking the natural area and the beach. The house was a perfect fit for our family of four and the kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking. The house was very clean on arrival and we had no issues at all. We would love to come stay again soon!

Very clean. Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

Windsong is in a quiet neighborhood with opportunity for indoor and out door activity for all ages. The beach is not in view but a path is available to walk. There are closer to the beach access points within a short driving distance. We enjouyed exploration to the north and south on 101.

This was a wonderful neighborhood that was quiet and convenient to the beach. Rockaway beach was a great place to play bocce ball and fly kites and was never crowded. We had nine people and though there were enough beds, having only two bathrooms (one of which was only accessed by walking through the master bedroom) was a problem at times. All the beds seemed comfortable. The decorations needed a good dusting but the home was mostly clean. Our main challenge was in fixing meals in the kitchen with the hodgepodge of cook and bakeware. The home had lots of old pots and pans but very few lids (thankfully there was aluminum foil to make temporary lids). We were forced to wash spoons after every meal (we eventually bought disposable) because there were so few. There also were not very many microwaveable containers or sharp knives. However, the refrigerator, microwave, barbecue grill, and stove worked well. There were lots of chairs in the garage for the patio and beach. The televisions worked well and there were lots of dvds and board games. We also enjoyed playing foosball in the garage and hot tub. The house was what we expected for the price—serviceable but not luxurious. Vacasa was great to work with and even delivered laundry soap pods to us! We enjoyed our time here and would return!

I would like a call to get credit for 1 night stay because we had no electricity from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. The owners were notified the electric would be shut off.

This home was perfect! S beautifully decorated and comfortable. Everything we needed in the kitchen. My granddaughter loved the loft and the sand box. It was also super clean. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

It was fantastic for my family and that's hard, I have three younger ones 5, 3, and a 1 year old. Everything was there that I could need for them so no extra hauling was nessisacry for me. I would only say maybe put a mouse trap in the house somewhere in the kitchen. We woke up to noticeable droppings possibly just one mouse ?... the short distance to the beach was amazing easy for us to walk to. And I loved that the front door was a code to get into rather than a key. One of the baby gates was broken it seemed, but the other one worked great!
