My grandmother died, and my family wanted to have her celebration of life during Christmas break. I let the owners know and asked to cancel 8 MONTHS in advance. They wouldn’t. We had no hot water in the kitchen our entire stay and watered down dish soap, so washing dishes meant I had to boil water every day during my vacation. We let the owners know, and they would not let my husband, a contractor, turn the water heater up because it was under warranty. They never offered to fix it. Very inconvenience! The resort was average and the unit is dated. I do have very high standards, but in my opinion it was subpar. They also let a contractor into the unit without letting us know. We came back one day, shocked to find somebody on the patio unbeknownst to us. I checked every other listing in Sapphire Bay and all of them have a refundable deposit except this one. Be aware (as I wasn’t) and shame on the owners for not refunding us b/c of a death in our family!!! Karma.

Beautiful condo space and an enjoyable time. Was the best location out of the many to select from that even the groom wanted his photos to be taken there prior to heading to the ceremony. Thank you for a memorable experience!

This was my fourth stay on the island and this was the best condo that I have rented. Everything worked well and I really enjoyed the little added touches like games, book and beach/snorkeling equipment. I'm hoping to stay here next year during fall break as well. Thanks for the great experience.

This was truly an amazing rental property! It is very clean and the location is absolutely beautiful. The beach at sapphire is amazing we loved snorkeling and swimming. The owners are just as amazing and very easy to work with. Would do it again in a minute!!!!

Property was beautiful. The snorkeling was great and right outside of our room. Everything was very clean upon arrival. Room was everything I expected. There is a fun Tiki Bar and a few restaurants right down from the room. I had a amazing stay.

Leaky shower and no laundry available. Can’t complain when you are in paradise I would do it again

This property is as shown in photos and the views of the beachfront and ocean and plentiful outdoor seating do outweigh the fact that the interior is outdated. It is 5 minutes from Red Hook and the ferry to St. John and the breakfast/store serves great coffees and breakfast sandwiches to order. There are plentiful beach chairs available for guests and the bar on site is fun but FYI it closes at 8. Definitely book dinner at the on site Sea Salt rooftop restaurant for additional stunning views as you dine. The pool area needs updating, and that bar area is closed and in need of repair, although the main bar off the beach is large with friendly staff and lively music. There is a limited menu at the bar restaurant but go for the chicken sandwich or grilled cheese, skip the pizza. Bring extra towels to shower as this unit does not offer it’s washer or dryer, and after a few days one towel per person isn’t enough, unless you want to do a coin machine. The towel service for beach towels is great but FYI they don’t open until 10 am. Overall it’s a fair value for the size and location and available amenities. Plus the place has security and we felt very safe and welcome.

The view is amazing. The resort was clean and everyone was super friendly. We did not rent a car but we will next time. Taxi fares are pretty expensive. The condo was clean, larger than I thought it would be. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenage girls. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time! The view of the beach and water from our balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning. The host was very responsive and did help accommodate our stay. One thing to note, the listing shows photos of washer/dryer, however, they are not available for guests to use. I would suggest removing the photos and providing guests info on where to do laundry. (Trailer by marina has laundromat for $8 per load). Another suggestion is to provide a rolling cooler/ice chest, or a wagon to transport cooler to and from beach. Wagon can also be used when getting groceries. Also - provide info on bath towels. Family of 4 went through bath towels in 2 days. We had a 5 day stay. We asked for clean towels and host was able to get fresh set within 24 hours. Not sure if listing provides info for taxis, bringing plenty of cash for taxis, laundry, groceries (getting a taxi vs ordering online). This is probably more for travel tips. Maybe include a travel tips section. Our family is used to all inclusive resorts so this experience was a bit unfamiliar, but we figured it out and thankfully we had a longer stay to explore and make our stay comfortable.

The condo was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, well stocked with everything a vacationer may need, and was in a prime location. Hosts responded quickly to questions and we felt very safe staying in this home.

Aged needs updating, had repair needed when shower door broke. Pictures show a washer and dryer, but these are not for renters use.

The property was fantastic as always (2nd time in this condo). We will certainly book again. We had everything we needed for a great trip and for our excursions to other beaches (beach chairs & coolers). The property owners/managers are always quick to respond and do everything to make certain our vacation is perfect.

We loved this place. It was perfectly located very clean and well maintained and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone and great views of the beach and all the other amenities.

This was a great condo! The location and the views are wonderful! My daughter and her husband loved the snorkeling they did right from the beach. My husband and I just enjoyed lounging in the pool or on the beach chairs provided from the resort. The condo was very clean and had many amenities. All in all we just had a fabulous time!

This unit was well equipped and clean. The process was easy and instructions were clear for our stay. Unit is positioned perfectly to witness a breathtaking view. We were sincerely pleased.

Let me just start with, WE DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE!!!!!!!!! The location, the cleanliness, the convenience, the VIEWS!!!! It was all super spectacular, Peter was punctual with communication and made our trip exceptional. We had trouble with our flight going home and he was super accommodating letting us stay an extra day. We enjoyed the convenience of having a little coffee shop on premise for the mornings - super friendly staff and a bar with a perfect beach for the afternoons. We snorkeled everyday, watched proposals in the sand from our balcony, enjoyed day trips to St. John, visited nearby (gorgeous) beaches, it was an amazing vacation and we would definitely stay here again!!

This property was perfect for our family of 4! Breath taking views from both balconies, best location on the resort! I would highly recommend this unit to others and would even work around dates to stay in this unit again for sure!!!! Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, really nice fine quality bedding made a very comfortable stay.... We did not use beach items in closet but it was stocked with everything you need for the beach! We did not rent a car so it was easier for us to rent chairs at other beaches for $5-$10 and free on Sapphire Beach. We came with food so we had are own soft sided cooler. Our boys packed nerf footballs, frisbee and our own snorkeling gear from home. Taxi were alway available and nice people we would recommend Donald and claud (get their direct phone #s) they both always made us feel safe on the road and would stop at Moe's anytime on the way home for groceries if need. Condo has excellent location to beach pool and restaurant bar. Good white sand and real clear water. Outstanding snorkeling. Unit is starting to show its age. They do keep it clean and well taken care of. Don from arkansas

Loved our stay here for the second year in a row. Would definitely stay here again. Great location, comfortable master bedroom.

What a great condo! Everything was comfortable, the views from the decks couldn’t be beat. We had a small issue with the AC but communication was quick and it was fixed fast. Building c is a great location, near the stack of chairs, near the pool, near the beach bar. Couldn’t have had a better stay!

We loved the ease of checking in and the location of the condo. We were right on the beach and loved our stay!

What an amazing stay my friends and I had. The condo was beautiful and clean and so comfortable for 4 of us. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it so ideal for relaxing and getting ready to go out. We lounged by the beach and pool every day. I HIGHLY recommend this property. We’ll be back for sure!

Location is great and views are beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, etc. Plenty of storage room to unpack - closets/dressers, etc. Unit was very comfortable with regards to temperature. I will say every time I reached out to the property manager with any issues I had they were very quick to respond. We stayed for 8 days and were supposed to receive a clean mid-week, but despite communicating back/forth with manager over 3 days letting them know the cleaning crew had not come each day. The manager assured us they had reached out to cleaning to request us to be cleaned but for whatever reason they just never came. The only real issue this caused us is that apparently that is the only way to get toilet paper resupplied. We checked with the office and they said we had to get it from the cleaning people. But the cleaning people kept skipping us so we ended up having to ask our friends in other units for additional toilet paper as we ran out (we were there for our son's wedding so thankfully we had lots of family/friends in other units we were able to ask). I would say that was the only big negative. Not a big negative but more of a disappointment is that I assumed the washer/dryer were available for use when I saw them in the pictures, but they are not - they are only for the owners and are disabled for renters. There is a community laundry which you have to pay for and walk to.

Wonderful location & unit was perfect! Peter was also so easy to communicate with. He was very responsive. We hope to come back next year!
