The property is well maintained, clean and close to Point Pelee National Park. Two people can comfortably utilized the living space. A family pass was included in the rental for the park and this gives you access to beaches, swimming, kayaking and biking.

The location and place itself was spectacular. Well appointed and very clean.

It was a great spot for a quiet getaway.The outdoor fire pit was good for evening fires under the stars.Also the park pass was an excellent bonus.

We visited Pelee for an early-season bird-watching trip and had a very positive experience staying at this property. The Bunker had everything we needed, including cooking utensils, hot cocoa, cleaning supplies, and extra blankets. Gabriella even kindly included a park pass for guests to use! The lake view was unbeatable, and we saw quite a few birds (and even a mink!) from the comfort of the cabin. Gabriella was pleasant, responsive, and easy to reach. The only (expected) downside was the cold. We had rainy and windy April weather all weekend with temperatures falling to near-zero overnight. The Bunker is not well-insulated against freezing weather, and while the heater kept out the worst of the cold, it did get chilly inside at times. Didn't end up being a problem during our stay since we were often bundled up for outdoor activities and the blankets/warm drinks that were provided helped the rest of the time, but it is something to plan for if you visit during early spring or late fall. I'm sure it's not an issue during the summer. Overall, definitely a five-star experience and a place I would love to return to!

Needed a weekend away from city and this was it

This little property was perfect to get away, relax and recharge. Located on the lake, the view is beautiful and serene. Nice and close to Point Pelee and they even give a park pass to use during your stay. The host was easy to get a hold of and we had no issues whatsoever.

The location is nearly perfect, with the Lake Erie shoreline, crashing waves and dramatic sunsets. Point Pelee is an easy bike ride away. The cottage is sweet and comfortable, and well-stocked with essentials, ie coffee ! Gabriela is very responsive to all enqiries, and there's welcome and "farewell" messages.

A beautiful and cozy 3 day staycation at the Bunker. Very comfortable and efficient use of space. Wonderful sitting by the fire and watching the sunsets! Very relaxing. Excellent location for visiting the Park and nearby golf courses. Great hosts! Thank you.

The bunker was a very lovely cottage to stay in, was a little smaller than expected but it is a good size for 2 people. My only real complaint is the comfort of the bed. It was a bit hard/lumpy which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Still, the view was lovely and being 5 minutes from Point Pelee was a huge plus.

I have written a review about my experience many times before and continue to remember fondly. This time around my wife and I rented the bunker for 2 weeks as well as another sunsets by the bay for3 nights.This afforded us the space to have my children and grandchildren come to visit. We were able to socialize by the lake as a family and still retreat to our own quarters at end of day. We had everything we needed in the clean cottages. As usual it was a pleasure to deal with Gabriella and Kyle. We do look forward to coming back.

What a great little spot, all the necessary amenities were provided, the unit and property meticulously maintained. Will not be a one time visit for sure, already planning an escape for next year!!

How can you not fall in love with the Bunker. All the amenities you would like packed into one tiny Bunker. Yet you don't fell at all crowded. Large beautiful bathroom. Everything is placed for maximum enjoyment and comfort. Even nightlights are provided so you don't stub your toe in the middle of the night. The cabin is also clean, super clean. Amazing sunsets. Thankyou Gabriella and your team for everything. My toes thankyou also.

We had an awesome time at the bunker, the views were stunning and the bunker was cozy! All the tips on where to eat and what to do were so helpful. We will definitely be back.

This little bunker has all the amenities and more wrapped up in one tiny package. You feel cozy comfortable and safe here. It's everything you see in the pictures and it's incredibly clean. Couldn't wait to come back next year so we booked for next month. Awesome sunsets. 100%. 5 star all the way.

The Bunker On The Bay is suited for a couple. All the necessary conveniences, lots of yard space and the opportunity to see the sunset. Comfortable and very close to the Pelee national park. The host was very accommodating and friendly.

Had a wonderful weekend and the Bunker by the Bay. The space is clean, cozy, and nicely cooled/air conditioned, which was nice for such a hot summer weekend. We spent our Saturday out at the park, on the beach, so this place was perfect distance from the national park, and the park pass which was included in the stay was a nice surprise too! Keep in mind there is no oven, or dishwasher, so good to keep in mind when preparing for your stay, but there was a BBQ, toaster oven, and induction cooktop which was great for preparing dinners. Not to mention the west facing sunset/view every evening is a stunning backdrop to your evening. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a very clean, cool, comfortable and well maintained place to stay on Point Pelee.
