We stayed in this cottage for our short weekend visit to San Diego. The host was very helpful and the place was amazing. We stayed with our two younger children ages 3 and 5. There was plenty of space for us all and everything we needed was available. From the beach toys, kitchen appliances, and bedding. We can tell that they thought about everyone’s needs. The location is amazing. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the beach. Will definitely be coming back soon.

My husband and I stayed in this rental during a recent vacation. It was so clean and nice! We took advantage of the shared patio and the beautiful view. The guide book provided by the hosts was truly helpful and we enjoyed several neighborhood restaurants and grocery stores during our stay.

My husband and I loved this apartment. It was very clean and well stocked. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The location was perfect! It is a very quiet area but also walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We loved the back patio with great ocean views and the perfect spot for watching the sunset. Overall I would love to stay again!

We stayed for a weekend to visit family in the area. Rental was as described and walking distance to a ton of spots in OB. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again next time we’re in town!

The property was just as described. The location is in the best place to walk to restaurants; breweries and shops. The sitting area has a front row breath taking view of the ocean. We will be back.

Great ocean side property. Very beachy feel and very clean. There are a lot of cars parked on the streets of Ocean Beach. This property has its own parking spot, which makes it more appealing. Host is quick to respond to questions, even left us umbrellas so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced by the rain. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

The space was very roomy, simple, and elegant. The patio overlooking the ocean and tidal pools was the best. We lucked out on dates and only one other tenant was there using the pario, so it was like our personal space. Might be a bit off putting if crowded.

We loved everything about the condo….as others have said, the view from the shared balcony was awesome even on the day it flooded; the host is super responsive and helpful, comfortable be, and the kitchen was one of the best-equipped I have stayed in. We had several breakfasts and one dinner in the condo and the rest of our meals at the great restaurants within walking distance in Ocean Beach. Spent our last day in Tijuana and crossing the border was a snap with Global Entry. Highly recommend this rental for beach lovers traveling to San Diego.

Great place right on the ocean! The views from the patio at sunset were fantastic! The parking space is up a small hill.

I had a lovely stay at this cozy condo next to the ocean. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the house contained everything I needed. The property owner was very communicative and there if I needed anything. The condo is in walking distance of just about everything in Ocean Beach and only 15 minutes from the airport and about 20 minutes from La Jolla.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything in the condo was clean, comfortable and in great condition. We were able to easily walk to excellent dining options. My favorite activities were exploring the tide pools, watching surfers, and walking along the coast down to Sunset Cliffs. I would happily stay again!

We loved being above the tide pools and being able to walk to breakfast and dinner. Easy access to Sunset Cliffs, Point Loma, downtown, and La Jolla and Torrey Pines. Clean and comfortable. It is in close quarters so we didn’t really have the shades up much, but that was more personal preference. Great stay!

My husband, 2 year old son and I stayed in this condo for our family vacation to San Diego. We thought the condo was the perfect place to stay! The condo was very clean and accommodating for our family. We also really loved the Ocean Beach neighborhood. It seemed more local than some of the other popular places to stay in San Diego, and the restaurants were great too. Highly recommend this stay!

My husband and I stayed in this one-bedroom condo in the back of the building, while our son and family were in the front overlooking the ocean. Our apartment was very comfortable and kitchen well-supplied. The location is tranquil, but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches. We especially liked the large shared front patio with well-maintained gas grill for morning coffee and evening sunset viewing. Lisa was very helpful - even sending back some medicines that I somehow forgot. Thanks Lisa!

This unit is one of the best VRBOs I have stayed at. The unit was perfect and the location couldn't be better. Will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have been bringing our children to OB for nearly ten years and this location is perfect for all things Newport and beyond! We love being able to walk to downtown. Now its just the two of us and we still have just as much fun. The ocean is right there.

I enjoyed this rental very much. It was clean and was thoughtfully supplied with just about everything. It was easy to check in and check out. And location was very nice.

We loved our stay. Check in/out was a breeze. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. There was a hiccup with one of the fans and we communicated with each other and she was willing to call an electrician if needed but it wasn’t needed and everything was back in working order in minutes. Great place to stay within walking distance of fun in Ocean Beach.

We stayed here for a weekend. It is in a fantastic location, just around the corner from the cliffs. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The place itself is cozy. Take caution when driving up the steep driveway to park. Our car scraped a little, but there is a way to do it without scraping. The AC wasn't working when we were there, but there are a ton of windows, so it wasn't an issue. Lisa is such a nice woman. The only reason 4 stars and not 5 is because of the steep driveway that made our car scrape and the lack of working AC. Everything else was magnificent! There's even a washer/dryer in the unit!

Pictures and description were all accurate. Easy stay. PM was very communicative. Cliffside views were amazing. Quiet and secluded, but close to major attractions. My husband and I were happy overall. Thank you!

This apartment had everything we needed and was very nice and clean. Lisa was very responsive and helpful. The location right on the sea cliffs was amazing! We enjoyed spending time looking out at the ocean in the mornings and evenings and spent an afternoon exploring all the nearby tide pools and little coves. This location was very convenient to Ocean Beach (you can walk there), Sea World, the airport, Sunset Cliffs, and Point Loma. This is a great neighborhood for anyone who wants to feel more like a local and less like a tourist! It was nice to have a parking spot since street parking filled up. A couple things to keep in mind if you're looking at this place: the couch bed was not very comfortable according to my 12-year-old son (he ended up sleeping on the air mattresses provided in the apartment), though the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable for me and my daughter. Also, as a mom traveling alone with two kids I didn't feel 100 percent safe in this neighborhood. I wouldn't have wanted to walk around at night with them here, though the apartment itself felt safe enough. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend the tide pools/rocky cliffs in this area for little kids, but for my older kids (12 and 14) they were just fine.

Girlfriend and I spent 5 days in the San Diego and this property in OB was our “home base”. Everything about our experience was fantastic! From check in, to the place itself, everything was above and beyond our expectations. VRBO was clean and in a fantastic location. So many good restaurants, breweries, points of interest all in walking distance. Better yet a lot of touristy San Diego points of interest were a quick drive/Uber. Highlight of our trip was sitting outside on the shared patio or standing on the sunset cliffs and watching the dolphins play or just enjoying the sunset. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Great little cliffside condo. Perfect for a great little stay and enough room for us to get ready to go. So close to Seaworld and lots of little shops near by to explore. Beautiful scenery to enjoy.

Property was well kept, comfortable, and well stocked with essentials. Property manager was very nice and remained available for any questions or needs. Easy check in/check out process. Right by the ocean-amazing view. For the view and nice place to stay the price was very reasonable.

This location is perfect if you want to just enjoy Ocean Beach or get around San Diego. Property was very clean with a fully (and I mean fully) stocked kitchen. Any project you want to do, they have the supplies to do it. Owner sets you up for the beach with chairs, boogie boards, suntan lotion, to toys for playing in the sand. Location is right next to the ocean within easy walking distance to local restaurants. We really liked the vibe of Ocean Beach. Now the patio technically doesn't have an ocean view. You need to lean your body way over the concrete edge to see the ocean. You are located in the back of a building that has multiple units. The front units have this shared patio space that we believe all the units shared...but I did feel like I was encroaching on their space. The back of the building, where this unit is located, is flush against this back alley / street, and the bedroom window is facing that view. Cars and trucks with rather loud music did go down that alley / street on Friday night and you can hear it but it wasn't a problem for the rest of the time we were there. The parking is in this upper gravel lot behind the building, with a tiny little parking stall number. That was a bit confusing for us at first. We arrived at night and did not see it as the lot is not lit, but it's great to have parking. A really solid location and set up. Highly recommend.
