We love staying at Kihei Akahi when we visit Maui. The pace is slow, the views of the ocean are great and the beach is just a short walk across the street. But this trip was the very best. It was our first time staying on the 5th floor and our rooms were amazing. Lots of personal touches and the largest bed (and pillows) we've ever encountered while traveling! It definitely felt like home - only with a much better view. Looking forward to visiting again next year - fingers crossed we can get the same room! Jim & Nancy

This condo has everything - great kitchen with everything needed to prepare any meal, comfy bed, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, beach towels, and a FANTASTIC view! Check-in and checkout were easy and hassle free - would definitely stay here again.

We are two seniors (60's) appreciated the convienince of a condo with A/C, kitchen, wash/dryer. Twin elevators, reserved parking and closeness to beach are appreciated. The desk staff was friendly and helpful.

This property was exactly what we needed. Everything was well thought out and supplied. There were towels for the beach, the bath and the furniture. There were 3 ways to make coffee, standard, press and pour over. Quick walk to the pool or beach and a great location to many wonderful places to eat.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best places we’ve ever visited. The condo was absolutely beautiful and located near shops, beaches, hiking and more! Our host was easy to communicate with. The place was clean and quiet. We enjoyed many nights watching the sunsets. Thank you! We will be back.

We had a wonderful week stay in this condo. The property grounds are beautiful, the location is convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants, and of course, the gorgeous beach across the street, and the view from the lanai is amazingggg. It can get a little warm in the unit being in the direct sun in the afternoon, but the sun shade on the lanai helped, and having the AC as an option is nice, even though we only had to use it once. We’d definitely love to come back and stay here again!

This rental had everything you could hope for in the way of amenities. And the location was great: you can walk to the beach and shops and restaurants were very nearby. It was very nicely decorated and comfortable. Having a washer and dryer right in the room was very handy. Our only small complaint would be that the sun in the afternoon was very strong coming through the curtains, making it hard to sit anywhere in the living room. That is only an issue if you are in the room at that time. Everything else was great!

This Vrbo was everything and more for our trip to Maui. It’s spacious, clean, and has everything you’d need for your vacation. The views of the ocean are amazing and you’re a quick walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in Maui and loved it! The condo was very clean and well stocked, and in a nice area. We loved that the lanai faced the ocean and we ate breakfast on it every morning. It was walking distance from many good restaurants and lots of shops, as well as several parks and beaches which was nice. Overall great stay!

We have stayed in many rental properties, and this is by far in the top five. SO clean, so well looked after, well-stocked, quiet, the grounds were amazing and well-kept, very safe, perfect proximity to beautiful beaches, nightlife, shave ice (Surfing Monkey was the best!) restaurants all with an amazing sunset from the balcony. If I had a question, Stephen would answer within the hour. Very easy check in, and exactly as stated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, wifi a breeze. And they scrubbed the grill by the pool DAILY! We appreciated everything about this condo, and next time we are in Maui, we would definitely love to stay here again.

This condo has everything you need, even extra shopping bags to carry with you to the local shops within walking distance. Everything about the condo makes this an excellent home away from home in paradise.

This condo has everything you need to begin your stay no matter the time frame. We stayed for four wonderful nights. We come to Hawaii to snorkel, so this condo is in the right location as you can swim, snorkel just across the street. Mostly we drive to other locations, Turtle Town and up North (during this time of year, May, November you don't snorkel there as it is surf time)And it is well equiped with snorkel things (if you don't own your own) plus they have a cart to load all your stuff in to take to the beach. We we thrilled to see one of those, as we do own our own snorkel things, and we go to a location for the day so we do take a lot of things, cooler towels etc etc, and this condo has all of that! You are close to the beach across the street but from this condo you really don't hear the traffic nosie etc, you have a wonderful view from the lanai of the ocean, when the humpbacks are here I am sure the view is wonderful. So all in all we would recommend this condo, price is good and the location and condo is well stocked. Just have to buy your food etc. There are lots of grocery stores plus costco, walmart. Book your vacation and start enjoying your time on Maui. Margaret and Brad, Nova Scotia

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in Maui & staying at this lovely condo. It was clean & well-equipped; check-in & check-out both were seamless. The condo is centrally located & just steps away from the beach. Sunsets off the balcony were breathtaking. Thanks for an amazing stay!

I really enjoyed this property! The condo was small but prefect for my daughter and me. Great view, and the location couldn’t be better. At first I was disappointed there was no ac in the bedroom, but I followed their directions and found it to be very comfortable!

This was the perfect little property for our stay! Everything from the check in/check out, communication with the owner and property management was great. I was super impressed that it was stocked with everything we needed, beach chairs, umbrella for the beach, etc. The bed was ultra comfy! Definitely a home away from home. We had a wonderful stay here. Perfect location across the street from a nice beach. Nice restaurants nearby. We loved how they had beach and snorkel gear already in the place so we could enjoy our time in the beach with umbrellas and chairs without having to rent anything. Overall a perfect stay

Stephen, your condo was perfect for us. Loved the location. It was clean and very welcoming. I hate to rate it so high, because I would like to keep it a secret for the next time we visit beautiful Maui. Truthfully, our stay was delightful.

Fabulous trip, well stocked home, and a great view of whales. We walked to the beach every morning and watched the sunset every night. Great location💜

We really enjoyed our time here! The condo is as stocked with everything we wanted (including a yoga mat) and the location was great- right next to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The property had everything you would need for a enjoyable vacation in MAUI. From beach chairs to towels to a printer . Check in process was simple and property was clean. It overlooks the ocean and you can hear the waves crashing in the night. It was surreal.

Me, my spouse and 2 friends stayed here and were blown away by our stay. It's one of those cases where the pictures don't do it justice. The sofa bed worked well for our group and the space wasn't too crowded for us 4. The check-in process was easy and everyone we talked to was super kind. Stephen went above and beyond for our requests and we are truly thankful for our time here!!! Mahalo!

Clean, beautiful view

This condo was the perfect fit for our 6 nights on Maui. Stephen has everything you need for the beach; chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler, everything. Oh, the view at sunrise every morning on the lanai! We loved the added touch of having plenty of condiments in the fridge! My only wish is that I’d have stayed longer!!!

Wonderful experience. Property is exactly as listed. Perfect location right across the street from Kamaole II Park with a crosswalk right there. Within walking distance of almost anything you need. All kitchen and beach supplies are provided. And you can’t top the view from the lanai! Definitely would stay here again!!!

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful, well-equipped condo. The rattan furniture and wooden and ceramic artwork were very special. Everything was clean and perfect. We lacked for nothing. Umbrella, beach chairs and beach towels also provided along with a welcoming bottle of wine and Kona coffee. Mahalo Stephen and Mary Lou!!

The property was very clean and updated. came with all you would need on vacation, view was better than i expected from photo on vrbo. very quiet area and building. assigned parking. i also have a ocean front condo in myrtle that i rent out and i was very impressed the way stephan keeps his place up and supplied. would recommend this place to everyone.
