Our family has gone up to birch bay the past couple years. The perfect place for all ages. The condos location is PERFECT. Close to everything and the view is beautiful. We stayed in the same complex last year but Irene’s condo was so much better for our family with two showers instead of one, and the cute kids room was nice for the extra space for kids. The condo was well stocked and we will definitely be back!

We needed a "home base" for our travels to Canada and Bellingham. This was the perfect place to rest and recoup after day trips. The condo had a great view of the bay, was well furnished with everything you could want or need, and the owner was very easy to contact.

The condo is spacious and perfect for 4 adults. The only caviot is the sleeping arrangements unless their are 2 couples. The third bed is in a space with an extremely low ceiling that slants. This space is for children 3-10. Not for adults.
The living room has a comfortable couch. We took the back cushions off of it and one of us slept there. Plenty of dishes and cooking supplies.

the little Hobbit bedroom off of the loft bedroom was cute, my daughter is petite and enjoyed that.
I would suggest the host updating the photos online to capture the current set up of the condo since it does have some updates and newer furniture. :)

We have stayed at Jacobs Landing many times. We return every year for a family reunion. It is a wonderful place. It is our second year staying at this unit and I am sure we will book again for next year. We love it.

This unit is well equipped with everything you might want or need in a family vacation condo. The proximity to the beach is perfect, even for one with mild mobility issues. Our 3 generation group enjoyed our stay very much. Irene is lovely to deal with, and has a very pleasant telephone manner. Your party won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay here with 3 grandkids. We slept downstairs, and kids had the upper bed and cute mini-room with their own shower upstairs! Jack and Irene had everything in the kitchen we needed, including more than just the sparse typical spices we've encountered elsewhere. And we appreciated having some DVD's suitable for kids. We loved the location. Still have a view, but back far enough to not constantly hear the traffic. The kids want to go again next year.

Our family had a wonderful restful time with a 3 and 1 year old girls. The pool was great for a rainy day which we used twice. We came for the beach access and it was a short walk from the condo which was set back from the road. The beds and room are comfortable for 4 adults. The 2 kids enjoyed the small loft behind the loft bedroom. And we cooked many of our meals and the kitchen is well supply with all you need. I would recommend this property to any family

One really great thing about Birch Bay is that beach fires are allowed. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and making S'mores. Lovely family vacation.

We love Birch Bay and come back every year. This was the perfect condo for our family. The little loft was cute and the kids loved it. Everything was clean, well stocked and convenient. We would be happy to book again soon.

Everything we needed!
This was a beautiful location. Irene was great to work with and so responsive to our every little question. The apt. was immaculate. Just be alert that the third bed is really for little kids - cute, but not what we were expecting.
Being so close to the beach was just lovely. Be sure to visit Birch Bay Park up the road! A really lovely area.

Weekend Getaway
This was a great location, and perfect for a short anniversary getaway. We were able to walk to a few restaurants/brewery, and just enjoy a view of the bay right from the living room. We did not use the amenities, but this would be a great spot for family with kids as well. We appreciated the kitchen pantry basics being available, and would definitely recommend!

Wonderful condo on Birch Bay
Beautiful and immaculate 2nd story condo on Birch Bay with great views of the Puget Sound. Kitchen very well stocked (only missing a pancake griddle but there were so many cupboards I could have missed it). One bedroom up a set of stairs is an open loft, but has en suite bathroom with nice walk in shower. There is a darling alcove with a mattress for 1-2 kids in the loft. Downstairs is another bathroom, and a bedroom with a door. All the beds were very comfortable. Neighbors quiet but friendly. There is a clubhouse with pool and jacuzzi. The dining table is one of those new high tables with high chairs, not my personal cup of tea as more difficult to get into, but there are also lower stools along the kitchen island. All in all, a gorgeous place in a gorgeous location.

Great Location
The location of this condo couldn't have been better. Home was well equipped with with kitchen ware. There was a propane BBQ on site however we didn't use it during out stay. The 'loft' bedroom could have had a more detailed description as it was little more than a closet. Ceiling slopes down so not functional for adults but would be great for children. Pool was very nice and clean, hot tub was out of commission when we were there due to maintenance. Several lightbulbs were burned out but I contacted the owner and she was more than willing to take care of this. Overall it is a very nice space in a great location and we plan on staying again.

Cozy Stay
We were a party of three adults and had adequate space with one person sleeping on the couch and one in each of the the two bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed and the view from the unit very was nice. The owner was extremely quick and responsive to one issue we had upon arrival. She resolved it immediately. Would recommend.

Nice Stay
The property is situated across the street from the bay. We had a nice view from the condo even though it set back from the street. Restaurants and coffee shops were nearby. The best market was about 4 miles away. It was pricey, but had the best selection of everything you needed. The condo was well stocked with all the kitchen nessecities and more. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. If you opened all the sliders and door, the breeze kept the condo cool, however the upstairs got somewhat warm but cooled down late evening. The condo had numerous fans to keep air circulated. We did not use the "cubby" third bedroom area as we didn't need it but would be fun for young children. Overall, a nice place and comfortable even though a little outdated. We would return!

Favorite condo !
We loved this condo! We have stayed at other condos on jacobs landing and this was our favorite. The view was amazing and the condo was very comfortable. It does need a new coffee maker and can opener but that was the only issues in this lovely home.

Fun Family Getaway
This was the perfect spot for our group. We had 3 kids and 3 adults. Kids were between 3 and 10. Rental is exactly as pictured and location could not be better. Irene was wonderfully communicative and seemed genuinely invested in our trip being smooth.

Birch Bay Pandemic 2020 Stay
Irene was one of the best property managers I've experienced. We had an issue with the wifi not working the first night we got there. Wifi was important as I was in the middle of finishing university studies. The problem got taken care of efficiently even as more issues popped up. The place was wonderful and was already stocked with various supplies. The third bed listed is in a very small room behind the top bedroom. The ceilings are so close to the bed that you can't sit up and this wasn't mentioned. I slept on the couch for the trip but the couch was pretty comfy. In all this property provided a great trip and is managed by a wonderful person.
