Had a relaxing week at a beautiful condo with beach view. Met every need!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Loved the location as a quiet, peaceful hub to rest of Maui. We were able to plan out great day trips from this location. The place was perfect for our family of four with bunk beds for the kids and a great loft for us parents. Patio with sounds and views of ocean waves in the evening, I can still faintly hear in my head. Also evening strolls on the beach are just a few steps away. Amenities were great with on-site laundry and a microwave that we were able to use as a convection oven. And for someone that doesn’t enjoy looking for parking, again loved the relative quietness of the area as it was so easy to get in/out so we could spend our time enjoying our trip. Definitely a winner if you are looking for a place to launch your Maui travels.

We had a wonderful time in Maalea. We have stayed at many of the Makani A Kai condos in the past and this was the first one with stairs. It was enjoyable for us and our grandchildren.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. Our rental manager, Amy, was very responsive to my emails. When I noticed a small repair needed, she immediately sent someone over to fix it. She was very helpful with the check in process and explaining how to use the laundry room. The rental unit had a beautiful view of the ocean and nearby park. Each room had an A/C unit making it very comfortable for temperature. The kitchen and cookware was in good condition and there was a public BBQ outside. There was a smart TV in the living room where we could watch netflix, hulu, and cable TV. The only issue we had was the headboard on the downstairs bed was loose and would jiggle around and make noise while trying to sleep on it. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and great way to experience my first time in Maui.

My friends and I really enjoyed this condo. It's in a great location and close to many things. The pool was not crowded and lovely to swim in. The beach is public access so there were several people there but still beautiful and nice to swim in. We had a great time overall. Thanks for having us!

Loved everything but two things, no beach equipment was available so that was no good after reading it would all be provided and only a convection microwave oven. No true oven in the condo. Snorkeled with turtles and all sorts of marine life. Walked on the never ending beach for 3 hours.

Our stay was excellent! The condo is perfectly clean and maintained. They had everything you need for a nice week. We used their beach chairs, cooler and towels throughout the week for some great beach days!

Super nice place! No complaints whatsoever! Beach behind condo was one of the best that we visited. No crowds. Beds comfy. Beach gear included was an awesome bonus! Highly recommend!

Liked that it was on a beautiful beach for lovely morning walks. Also very cool that they had boogie boards, portable beach chairs, coolers, and snorkeling equipment to take to the beaches.

The condo is beautiful and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and comfortable beds. It has everything for a great day at the beach (chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella and cooler) which is perfect since an amazing beach is just steps away from the front door! The beach is not crowded and goes on for miles -literally!! The lanai does overlook the public park and has an air conditioning unit but we spent each morning and evening out there and were never bothered by either. This condo would be perfect for a family with kids of any age or for 2 couples. We highly recommend staying here and plan to come back someday ourselves!

Prime location and a great stay for a family. The only thing missing are comfortable beds. Felt more like the stock mattress that come with a bed frame. But overall a nice stay.

The timing and communication was excellent. All the little extras as well as resources to enjoy our holiday we’re provided. Would definitely stay again.

The condo suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of clean, open space for a family of four, and it was so convenient to head down to the pool for a short swim or a walk along the beach. And being able to see the whales in Maalaea Bay from the balcony was an added bonus! The property managers were friendly and responsive whenever we needed help. The location of the condo was great for taking the kids to the aquarium and whale watching, but for day-long beach outings or more restaurant options we preferred to drive to Kihei. Overall, we were tremendously grateful for the opportunity to rent this condo.

This was a great location to stay while in Maui. Quiet and lots of beachfront to enjoy. The property was well equipped, communication with property manager was excellent. The beds were not quite as comfy as we would have liked, and the AC unit for the adjacent property (off the lanai) was loud while sitting outside. (minor annoyance overall) We were two couples sharing the unit and really did enjoy or stay. We cooked most of our meals while there as opposed to going out for meals and found the kitchen had almost everything we needed. We really had a lovely stay!

Great communication and follow up

Well kept condo. Everything was perfect. It nice to just walk outside to the beach. We watched the sun rise and set many times. Enjoyed many walks on the beach. Maui is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend. Just be aware that you are right next to "public" access to park and picnic tables.

Good clean property in central Maui location. Close to harbor with whale watching and fishing. Matched the listing and our expectations. No problems with anything. Only challenge is that this area tends to be windier than most other resort areas on Maui.

Great time at a great place in Maui. Perfect size condo for family and excellent location next to very nice beach. Kids loved the pool and snorkeling with sea turtles.

We had an excellent stay at this lovely condo. Truly every ammenity was thoughtfully provided - from beach chairs to body boards to laundry detergent and a full kitchen. The unit was immaculate with modern furnishings and the air conditioning got SO COLD on those hot Maui days - we loved it. We had a couple minor repair issues with doors but the property manager was astonishingly prompt and attentive in addressing them. The only small drawback I would mention is that this unit primarily faces the camping area of the public beach - whereas the other condos face the amazing ocean view more directly. In either case, you're just steps from a beautiful private lawn directly on the beach. Highly recommended for families!

We had such a great time. Our condo was clean. The check in was easy, everything wa as as stated. Definitely would stay there again!!
