We had a relaxing and amazing time with the family and grand kids on our wedding anniversary. The house is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, giving everyone the privacy they needed, as well as accommodating for family time and activities. The view of the lake is relaxing, quiet, beautiful and we enjoyed the BBQ, fire pit, kayaking and games room. Thank you, Lucio & Julie, for a wonderful stay.

We stayed for 4 nights with our kids and their grandparents (9ppl). Great location with attractions a short drive away. The house was equipped with indoor & outdoor activities for all to enjoy. Picturesque sunset and tranquil setting. Would aim to stay for 7+ nights next time.

I was thinking of a place where we adults can sit back and relax and the kids can play and enjoy themselves. As soon as I came across this beautiful property which comes with a view and all sorts of amenities for kids (and adults), I knew I needed to book it. I wasn't wrong! From the moment I booked, the host was very responsive. He accommodated all our requests. The house was presented as described in the ad. Everything was very clean and tidy. All the amenities were there as mentioned in the ad. Kids were busy with board games, scooters, and bicycles, while we had a relaxing time at the back patio overlooking the beautiful lake. We tried the canoe and it was fun. The pool table and the dirt board were good time pass at night as well. Overall it was a much-needed break we were looking and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Thank you again to the lovely hosts :)

We spent 3 nights during the Easter break! It is a perfect place with young children, clean bedroom, beautiful lake view! The only thing is no shampoo there better to let us know as we assume there will be. But overall it is a amazing place to stay with reasonable price, highly recommend to family!

Beautiful Place for family holidays

Both kids and parents enjoyed the time away. We had great weather, jetty was great for the kids to fish off, we used the fire pit at night to cook marshmallows. House came with the small essential items and there was decent amount of utensil and crockery. House has been well maintained. Owner was easy to communicate with. Thank you

The house was perfect. The bedrooms were immaculate and beds were excellent. The outdoor space was fantastic for all weather. You could sit in the shade, move to the sun, watch the sunset sitting beside the water, fish off the little jetty, sit by the firepit - the list goes on. The supplies in the kitchen were the best we have had with a full drawer of wraps etc, all utensils and crockery - everything you need. Stove, cooktop, everything worked perfectly. The owners communication was accurate and timely. The small town had everything you need within a short walk. Highly recommended.

The space in the house is great with plenty of room for everyone, nicely decorated. The little touches like books/dvds, labels, instructions, cooking staples and teas/coffee are appreciated. There are a few things with the stay, though, that we were expecting to be of a higher standard given the accommodation cost. Weren’t expecting stay to be a duplex, with some shared areas incl jetty which wasn’t transparent on your ad. Front screen door does not shut and can’t be locked. Kitchen: many items for use were not clean. We washed crockery, cutlery and glasses before being comfortable using them. Chopping boards were mouldy. Coffee machine dirty and milk frother burnt milk inside. Cracked wine glass. Many bowls and plates were chipped. Broken and sharp drawer in fridge. Microwave very old. Good to have cooking staples, but pepper empty, salt and Vegemite out of date. Dining living. Couch very dusty. White chairs dirty and covers need washing. Vacuum cleaner filthy like it has never been emptied. I discovered this when I went to vacuum the couch. Garage. Helmets broken. Bike flat tyre. Tennis racket bent out of shape. Pool x cue broken. Paddles old and cracked. All beds were made but the heavy quilts were not right for the season. Ensuite. Foul smell. Sink and shower taps drip. Shower door handle broken and a sharp metal one in its place. Ensuite door does not close properly. Second bedroom door does not close. Bunk bed wobbly/loose. Third bedroom. Bunk wobbly. Very dusty behind and under bunk. Bathroom. Sink and bath taps leak. Toilet runs. Cockroaches in bathroom and other insects. Fourth bedroom. Bookshelf books dusty. Cigarette butts in fire pit. We didn’t expect or need any of these fixed during our stay, but they are things we should not have encountered. Professional cleaning $250 fee needs to be addressed.

We had a great stay at chilling lakeside, communication with the host was excellent and the house is set up really well for families. We will come back for sure.

The property is gorgeous. Our family of six plus two grandparents were completely comfortable. The owners were friendly and supportive, and everything we needed for a short stay was available. My only complaint is that our stay was not long enough! We will definitely be back!

The house and it's location were better than I expected from the photos. It's really a beautiful spot and the house was extremely well set up, including with Netflix, Stan etc. Great spot for those looking for a quiet holiday in a beautiful location.

We really enjoyed our mid week getaway. The property was in a perfect spot on the lake. We had everything we needed in the house and communication with the hosts was spot on. We used the kayaks on the lake and chilled while watching the sunset. Perfect spot. We loved it.

We had an amazing stay at this property, the house was perfect for us which was a few couples and it was lovely sitting out the back everyday on the lake. The property was so clean & tidy and they had all the amenities you need. We really enjoyed our stay at Chilling Lakeside.
