Travelled with party of 11 - 2 large families comprised of high school and college-aged kids and parents. Location was perfect and view from the deck was gorgeous and the best way to start and end our days. Plenty of bedding, more than enough space for everyone to spread out - but enough space for us all to be together to play games and hang out in the family room. Kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. Kids LOVED the hot tub and heated pool - got lots of use during our unseasonably cold visit. The layout for the master bedroom upstairs might be described as “unique” and the parents who stayed in that room had temperature regulation issues but it wasn’t anything that would prevent us from staying here again. All in all this house was perfect for our two families to hang out, relax and “recover” from the holiday season!

We’ve stayed here several years in a row and it never disappoints. It has everything you need.

This house was amazing! The open first floor with all the windows was great. Spacious bedrooms and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a very welcome part of the house. Couldn’t have asked for a better view of the ocean!! Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time, this house is very spacious and very well equipped. The kitchen is completely stocked with many different spices and appliances. Each bedroom was very nice sized and each had their own bathroom which is so nice. It’s exactly like the description with 1 exception there weren’t tv’s in every room which for some of us it wasn’t a big deal but with others it was. I needed to contact the property manager Jamie and let me tell you she was on it, she answered my questions in a quick and timely manner and she was very pleasant. The pool was super nice and there are a ton of floats, toys etc. downfall was the lights didn’t work in the pool so it was kinda dark to swim at night but rest assured they were notified and I’m sure they will definitely take care of it. I would definitely recommend this home and we will be back that’s for sure. Thank you!!

There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 4 to 80. The six bedrooms & baths were wonderful, everyone had their own accommodations + an extra 1/2 bath on the main level. We had 5 cars & 2 golf carts, plenty of room to park all. The kitchen was fully equipped, plenty of room to eat at the same table. The living room accommodated all of us as did the covered porch. It was great to gather, play games and visit. The pool was so enjoyable, all ages used it daily. The toys and extra items in the garage were made use of by most of us. Having all the beds made, towels & wash cloths provided when we arrived was once again great. The location was so good, 7 tenths of a mile to the traffic circle + the ice cream & slushy places. We never ran out of hot water. The beach was wonderful, plenty of room for umbrellas & chairs. The landing on the walkway to the beach was good for our umbrellas & chairs overnight, plus the shower to rinse off coming up from the beach. For 3 of us that were older, it was a challenge to get through the sand dunes from the bottom of the steps to the beach. Some places had walkways & steps over the dunes. Highly recommended place to stay in OIB.

Very nice ocean front property. We have rented this property many times over the years. The housekeeping was awesome, the pool is great and the space works well for our group of 12. The benefit of being ocean side can not be overstated.

The house was very clean and comfortable for our 14 family members. Spacious living area , bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool area was a lot of fun. No major issues, but the property manager, Jamie, was great, responding quickly and thoroughly to questions. Only recommendation would be to extend the walkway to the beach over the dunes.

AGreat property for large groups. Glad we splurged on the heated pool as we had lots of young children and weather was chillier than we hoped. Fully stocked kitchen made meal prep for large group easier. Ample beach accessories! Can’t beat the easy beach access for trips back and forth to the house with little kids.

Cannot beat the view, beach. Pool and hot tub perfect. Each bedroom is large with its own bath. Beds were comfy. Kitchen and dining areas large enough to seat everyone for meals. Lots of privacy for everyone. Owner/housekeeper promptly responded to questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Communication was easy, quick and informative. Love that the linens and towels were part of the package. We never had an issue with the pool/heating system even after a rainy cold day. The temp seamed to adjust to the weather—it was so perfect. The hot tub under the deck is such a plus for those colder days. The 6th room was a pleasant surprise and a fun scavenger hunt to find, but those views cannot be beat! Perfect that is has the extra AC wall unit as it gets hot with all the amazing windows for the views! The layout was very practical and being on the beach allowed for our families to truly relax and have fun. The storage area with beach and pool items were very helpful and convenient. We couldn’t have been more pleased. This is a house we would 100% rent again! And we have been coming to OIB for 15+ years. This side of the island is our favorite. Thank you!!!

Ocean front property with hundreds of things to do

We were there at Xmas,the coldest week.The heat poorly worked the entire time.(service person arrived when we were packing up)Read fine print,no refund if the HVAC doesn’t work.The toilet,where my handicap father stayed(main level) didn’t work the entire stay.A carbon monoxide detector was chirping for hours because we couldn’t find it.It was shoved in a drawer.One of the stove burners is broken.A touch lamp could only be turned off by unplugging it.( the only light in the room) This house is large.It has a great hot tub and pool.Great location It needs a lot of improvements /updating Having to rent sheets after the enormous price of this house was a drag! We were so ready to go home! Don’t recommend this house for fall or winter!!!! 59 degrees in the house on Xmas and NO response from the owner to this day. Seems like they do as little as possible and sit back and rake in the money.

We came after Christmas to this wonderful home. Love the pool and hot tub, that were heated. Plenty of room to arch tv, and gather!

Home is large and in a great location. There were several items that could use some general maintenance--the patio furniture was a bit tired and had rusty hardware, the stairs carpet was dingy. The beds were fine though it is inconvient that linens are not provided. We had a great time together. The kitchen and dining area were great for all 10 of us to be together.

Wonderful 3rd year family vacation to this beautiful house facing the ocean. My husband who passed 16 mths ago made me promise to bring the family here again and it happened! My only complaint is having to rent linens. This was a new cost to us and one I feel should have been provided. Once again - thanks for the memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was so clean and well decorated. The location can't be beat. The pool was perfect for kids and adults. We will definitely be coming back!

This house was great for a moms weekend away . Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the first floor space was perfect for gathering to eat and play games . Great views of the ocean . Kitchen was well equipped . I would just be aware the walkway to the beach ends and you have to then walk over a steep sand dune to access the beach . No issue for most but we had one in our group that has some balance difficulty due to medical issues so she found it to be difficult. I would just be cautious with young children or older adults.

Home was clean, had lots of space, and was stocked with anything you might want while at the beach. We are looking forward to returning!

I cannot say enough about this vacation home! We stayed there last week, and it exceeded all of our expectations and then some. We have stayed at a lot of vacation homes, and this one was by far our favorite! This was our first time at Ocean Isle. The house was beautiful and clean. It is set up up so well. The bedrooms were great, and each one had their own bathroom. It was just my me, my husband, and five children who stayed here, and we had so much room. The views from the upper and lower porches are breathtaking! The heated pool was the cherry on top. The kids loved having a heated pool. The hot tub was so nice as well. The house had everything we needed including a ton of pool toys and beach chairs. The owner and property manager were great to work with. Please don’t hesitate at all…just rent this house! We are planning on coming back!!

Property was in nice location, has a bathroom for each bedroom which is super NICE! Everything was as described and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We chose this house because it was on the beach and we were not disappointed with the view and easy access. We were however disappointed in the overall condition of the house. We did report to property manager and she got back to us asking us to report to Heaven Scent the maintenance company but they never got back to us. There were a lot of cockroaches which we had to buy spray for because the company did not send anyone to spray.

This house is very family friendly… the pictures online do not reflect how spacious it is. Our family of 10 adults and 4 children were able to be together while not being on top of each other. The back porch is the best! Nice comfy wrap around couch is perfect for coffee, conversation, naps, and playing countless rounds of Memory! The. Pool is unusual, but so much fun! I was worried it would be too small but was pleasantly surprised. As an added bonus, there is a very clean hot tub to enjoy! The kitchen was supplied very well… even children’s plastic cups… oh, and loads of plastic glasses for everyone…love that at the beach. This was our first time at Ocean Isle and we loved it…the beach is beautiful… and how much fun is it to buy an Italian ice from the hard working cart pushers right there on the beach! We are trying our hardest to return next summer but are having a hard time finding anywhere available! Our only negative comment would be that the house could use a little TLC…there were several little “broken” things…some railings missing, etc… but the positive WAY overshadowed the negative! Loved it here… we had a great time!

Really enjoyed staying in this house, place was clean and well organized. The large living area had comfortable seating for all and the dining/sunroom area was nice with the 2 tables. Kitchen was well supplied. Walking right out onto the covered porch and deck with plenty of clean sitting was particularly nice to have. The pool was large enough and had a shallow end that was nice because we had several young children. Bedrooms fit our family well and were comfortable. Also, it was nice to be able to park in the garage with the large storage area. The resident next door neighbor was nice and I enjoyed chatting with him. He also helps keep an eye on things. Would definitely stay here again. Was too late to reserve for next year but will try again.

This property was wonderful our family. My only complaint was having to make bed and than strip them before leaving. I wish we had the option to pay more to have this done for us. I would highly recommend this for a family.

The location and house are great!! We loved the pool and the hot tub! Access to the beach is wonderful. The 2 decks are so comfortable and open to big wide beach. Kitchen very stocked equipment wise. When we arrived the internet was down. Jamie was able to get help from the provider and it was back 24 hours later. Unfortunately when we arrived there were 10+ large bags of trash in the garage. Jamie took care of that too after several communications. We loved the set up and house. Requirements for check out by 10am were pretty substantial. The cleaning folks didn’t have much work to do. That would be my only complaint. Why pay a cleaning fee when we did the bulk of the work?

Perfect size for our family and friends (14 of us) with room to spare! Beach access, pool and hot tub, great view of the ocean.

We had an absolute wonderful week at this house. The design of the house is great...we used every square inch. We had 3 people who needed to work while we were there and there were plenty of places to be separate while not bothering the rest of the group. The location is the best on the beach. The pool was heated to like 95deg so even in the chilly March air we could use it. Internet worked great, we used the grill, owners were super helpful and friendly...can't say enough good things!!

The home was every bit as beautiful as the photographs suggested! We traveled with another family and had four adults and five children in total. There was plenty of room to space out but, more importantly, come together and celebrate our shared time. Would happily return!
