What’s there to say? Perfect weather. Amazing location on Sandy Beach with restaurants and coffee within walking distance. The location is even more beautiful and relaxation inducing than the pictures convey. The beach, water, waves are amazing. Had several bbq’s in the courtyard. Great gathering place. The owner Jim was more than welcoming and ensured that myself and other guests’ were more than pleased with our stay. Going back in July with my daughters. Recommend without reservation!

This is a great property at a great location. Close to all the popular surf breaks in Rincón. It has everything you need at a reasonable price, and the setting can’t be beat. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance or a short drive as well. Very smooth check-in / check-out process.

We cannot wait to go back! The property is beautiful and the location is perfect! We walked to restaurants, shops, and to the old Spanish wall down the beach. The entire time we were there I just could not believe how beautiful it was! The shared outdoor space is what makes this property stand out from the others. We spent lots of time on the swings and in the hammocks. My son chose to sleep in the patio hammock rather than in a bed and I kinda wish I had thought of it first. The owner sent a list of recommended restaurants and things to do before we arrived which led us to good food and a great sea glass spot! The property manager went out of his way to be helpful. We plan to return each year!

My family & I stayed for 5 nights & it was fantastic. Easy check in with lockbox. The apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, well stocked & spacious ( Apt. D ground floor). Everyone staying on the premises were super friendly & generous. I felt like I was truly on an island. The decor of the apt. Is rustic island vintage vibe with the BEST view !!!! I love the courtyard absolutely a private paradise. For an apartment it was fully stocked & Jim made sure there was start up paper towels, bathroom tissue, a small bar of bath soap, dish detergent & there was even salt, pepper, coffee filters & start up coffee etc… these are items that an owner doesn’t have to supply because this is not a guest house, hotel room, or B&B, you are renting an apartment so this was very nice of Jim. We were very appreciative! There are so MANY great things about this establishment that I can go on & on. If you want that tropical authentic Puerto Rico experience this is the place but if you are looking for a resort environment with toiletries & amenities then this place is not for you. THANK YOU JIM!!’ WE LOVED YOUR PERFECT PARADISE. We are looking forward to staying there again when visiting my family in Rincon.

This is the perfect beach getaway! Sparkling clean, gorgeous location and very attentive owner. This property never disappoints. We had a lovely time with our family. We absolutely LOVED this place. The apartment was clean, super cute and right on the Ocean with the most beautiful views, you will ever see. It is in walking distance to many local places and we always felt safe and protected. Jim, the property owner, was so helpful. It was evident that he wanted our stay to be the best it could be.

Our favorite part of the stay was being right on the beach. The outdoor courtyard area was really nice. Rockers, loungers, hammocks and tables are all available to use during your stay. The outdoor cooking area was another great touch. We cooked out with the most amazing view. Our host was easy to reach, friendly and accommodating. We’re already talking about coming back with a bigger group of people. Now, let’s talk food. Def get a burger from Big Kahuna. Yes, a burger in Puerto Rico. Also, get a pincho from the side of the road stand just before getting to the Rincon lighthouse. Oh and the Rincon Bakery was the best of the several we tried.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pelican Point! We are extended family with kids, teens and adults. We rented the PH and apt D on the ground floor. It was super convenient for our group.In fact we commented several times throughout the week how happy we were with our choice of where to stay in Rincon. The apartments are clean and beachy. The courtyard with hammocks and chairs are perfect and makes it so you don’t have to rent. The beach is the best in the area and has a sandy bottom. There are also several very good spots to eat within walking distance that are very good. Most of all Jim was very helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk with! I highly recommend Pelican Point! We will be back.

Pelican Point is amazing! I did a LOT of research on rentals in the area and I chose correctly! Sandy Beach area is exactly where you want to be if you like walking to amazing restaurants and coffee shops and watching surfers right out your window! We had never been to PR at all, but we knew we wanted to check out the surfing part of the island... we drove through Rincon and checked out the town and other parts and for us, Sandy Beach was exactly the laid-back, surf-vibe zone we were looking for! Pelican Point is a cool old building and the courtyard was amazing! Everything was clean and exactly how pictured! To have our own courtyard to hang out in with the other awesome families that were there was perfect for us! Walking down the stairs right to the beach was just what we needed and wanted! We even had hot water, which is not standard in every place, if that matters to you at all. We barely used it because the outdoor shower was really what we wanted, but it was there if we needed it! Springer was super responsive and friendly! Check in was easy... he helped us with where to eat, where to rent a surfboard, etc. We were there when they power went out and he was immediately there with solar lights and anything else he could do to help. He's a super cool dude who has great stories and is fun to talk to! We will definitely be returning to Pelican Point for all of these reasons and more! If you have never been to PR and want to experience true island vibes, Sandy Beach is for you!!

To say our unit and host was impressive, does not give our stay justice. If you’re looking for a beach front, stunning, serene rental, look no further. If you want a beach vacation that doesn't include millions of tourists, this is where you need to be. Carlos is amazing and doubled as our tour guide. The courtyard is like walking into a movie set, with hammocks ready to rock you to sleep to the sound of the ocean. Already booking our next visit.

The location is unbeatable. The courtyard is perfectly inviting to sit and relax beachfront or take a few more steps and dive in the ocean. The apartment has what you need, including a comfortable bed & cold bedroom at night. You can walk for coffee, surf shops, drinks and dinner. Carlos was an awesome resource for the area and super friendly. Hope to return!

We had to spend the first night without power, due to a power outage and no electric generator provided by the owner. The outage continued for the next day and we have to move to another place. Excellent location and a great view. Very important to know that Rincon has continuous power outages after Hurricane Maria and you have to paid in full for a night with no electricity for refrigerator, AC & TV. José

I loved staying here. The view is fantastic! The courtyard area is great! Our youngest daughter loved the little tree swing while my husband and I loved the hammocks. The manager, Carlos was awesome too. Always so helpful and accommodating! I hope to be back soon!

Great location. Off street parking. Clean. With the manager, Carlos Castro, it is like having a travel advisor. His recommendations as to great dinning places was right on. I would highly recommend Pelican Point to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. And anyone visiting PR should make a visit to Sandy Beach. Beautiful beach, close to downtown Rincon. Great people and just a delight.

Apartment was clean upon arrival. Kitchen was stocked ok, not enough cutlery, could use basics such as strainer etc. Stove top worked intermittently. One burner was completely broken. Fridge only had one shelf, completely inadequate for a small family of 3 quantity of food. Asked for another shelf (as neighbouring apartment wasn't rented) was denied. No hot water in kitchen, made it difficult to wash really greasy dishes. No table to eat at just a high bar shelf. Difficult to sit a toddler in a high bar stool for meals. Beds comfy. Both bedrooms with AC. First night, AC in master was leaking. Property manager was prompt to send repair guy following day. Great location on Sandy beach for day time. However, Tamboo bar right next door is LOUD on weekends. I read the previous reviews and asked the owner about the noise due to the fact we were travelling with a young toddler. He told us it wouldn't be a problem if we ran the AC. In the bedrooms, with the AC running and while wearing ear plugs, the booming base from the DJ still disturbed us a lot on Fridays and saturdays (the windows vibrated) and if you were in the living room, you had to turn the TV up in order to hear it. And after the bar closes (early morning hours), the patrons spill out onto the street and there's a quasi street party right out side of the apartment's windows causing even more disturbance. Such a shame because the other inconveniences in the kitchen etc could be lived with but the lack of sleep really puts a dampner on a vacation.

Pelican Point is an excellent place to stay within your vacations. The apartment, beach, facilities and the attention provided by the manager was off limits. Considering to return is a definitely a yes.

Hi James, I hope you are well. First of all, I would like to thank you and all your staff for the excellent service they offered during our stay in Pelican Point. I have to mention that it was a great family vacation. Both my children, as my wife and other relatives had pleasant and very nice moments in Rincon. I didn't know how wonderful was Rincon until this past weekend. Everything was great, the apartment, the yard, the grill, the time at the beach, and above all the best service. I would also like to let you know I found several opportunities for improvement in relationship to the apartment D. First, the lock on the front door needs to be replaced, since it does not close easily and occasionally appears to be locked when it is open. Also upon arrival I had to tell Elier to help me turn on the fan in the living room because it doesn't turn on properly. Elier indicated to me that we need to push the blades to turn on and thus step. Anyway, look old and stays all day doing an uncomfortable and annoying noise. The best part is that you will definitely be our first choice when we want to return someday to spend our summer vacation or spend a good time in Rincon. We are happy.
