The property was exactly as advertised. It had wonderful vintage charm and the view of the water was amazing! Our host, Andre’, was available at all times and came over in the evening to change the battery in the smoke alarm so it would stop chirping. We highly recommend this!!

Thank you Andre! Your hospitality was over the top! The Dairy Queen gift card was an unnecessary, but very appreciated, treat. We cannot fight the weather and burn bans. This beautifully kept vintage cottage was comfortable for us five adults. Very clean, the views are phenomenal and we will be back! Kudos to the Andropolis family for not selling out and making our favorite type of vacation destinations possible! Family owned businesses are the way to go! This is resort on the Bay is a must stay for a relaxing, beautiful sunsets, and miles of waves lulling you to a peaceful serene state of mind!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It has the "old" Door County feel in very comfortable and clean cottages. It is a great location, convenient to all Sturgeon Bay and Door County has to offer, and the ability to sit by the Bay and enjoy watching the stars was fantastic! We were also provided with a treat of local fudge. This personal touch was much appreciated! We would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was very clean and tidy. It was nice to come back to the cabin after a long day of site seeing and wine tasting and relax and watch a little tv… once we figured out the baseboard heaters it was very comfy.

This little resort is a great place to stay. It is in a great location, and right on the water. You get beautiful sunsets, and it is in a wonderful location for visiting all the sights in Door County. Our host Andre is very friendly & nice to visit with. He is very helpful & wants to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

We had a wonderful experience in our lovely cabin! When we stepped into cabin 1 we were delighted with the rustic and charming interior. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make us comfortable. Andre was a welcoming and inviting host. He inquired about our trip and had suggestions of places to visit while we were there. Loved it!!

The cabin was clean and neat with perfectly adequate things (appliances, etc.) and an old school charm and vibe. Though I never owned one, this seems like the sort of place that would have been in the family for a generation (or two). Grounds were nice and the view at the lakefront was very nice, with great views and an immersion into Lake Michigan moods (winds, waves, waterfowl, sunsets, etc.). Nice sized beds made for tight fit for suitcases, etc. in 2nd bedroom but that was easy work around. Host was very much committed to making our stay great and I enjoyed getting to know him a bit. We liked staying away from the business of the more northern Door County cities. Proximity to Sturgeon Bay also nice for what that city has to offer.

Very nice , tidy cabins and property. Great view looking at the bay and sunset, nice area by the water to sit and relax. Our stay was relaxing and the Host was great. I will come back for sure.

Location was great. Close to the shops downtown, yet surrounded by trees and the bay. Cabins are rustic, but immaculate.

Property owner on-site & very friendly. It was right on the lake but not a great area for swimming. No air conditioning & with the windows open, I heard the road traffic at night (multi cottage property & we were in the cottage closest to the road). Overall, good place to stay w/a full kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. If you need a soft, comfy bed, pack a mattress pad.

An ideal get away to explore Door County using sturgeon bay as your base. Nice amenities in a very clean rustic cabin for cooking grilling and relaxing

Was so nice to stay at a family run place. Very quiet and Andre was right on site, walked us through the cabin upon arrival. Beds very comfortable. Definitely has a vintage feel but that is what we wanted. Even had a small gift waiting in the refrigerator upon arrival as it was my sisters birthday. Would definitely stay again

Property owner lives on site and is very helpful with everything and anything you'd possibly need. If you're looking for a high class 5 star resort This is not your place. If you're looking for a place that you can get away This is the place. Watch a beautiful sunset along the lake. Grill a nice steak. Sit outside and eat, enjoy a campfire. This is the place.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was impeccably clean and well maintained. We loved the laid-back vintage feel , and the beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan. Our host, Andre' was very personable and welcoming. We really enjoyed the brief conversation about the history of the resort and Andre's family. It was definitely a 5 star experience, and we look forward to coming back next year!

The property is beautiful. Sitting down by the lake watching the sunset chess is a wonderful way to end the day. Andre Is a wonderful host. He greets you by name shows you around make sure you have everything you need and then allows for your privacy. The morning we left he was outside saying goodbye to each cabin guests. He knew us by name thanked us for staying there, asked if There was anything we would like to see changed. He is a wonderful host. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here.

Andre is a very kind and generous host! We loved the property right on the water with a large area equipped with yard games and fire pit. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet but close enough to Hwy 42 for easy access to the other northern counties. We will stay here again!

This is a charming property and the cottages are perfectly vintage. They have everything you need, right down to the smart TV (if you want this at all while escaping in a cottage!).
