There was nothing not to enjoy about this property, it was the best & we all would go back in a minute, not far to drive, clean, very welcoming the minute you walked in the front door

Let me start with the host, Jan. Whenever I asked a question, Jan responded extremely quickly. And, more importantly, she always answered my questions completely without any follow-up questions being necessary. You would be amazed at how rare this is. The property itself was wonderful. At least for us, we want a good nights sleep and the beds were very comfortable. Next, we want the place to be functional and for us this was perfect. Nice large kitchen and living room. The porch was perfect and the 2 fans provided enough of a breeze to keep the mosquitoes away while providing us enough room to socialize as well as have dinner on the porch. Next came the amenities from the toys for our 3 yr old grandson (trucks and cars!) which were high quality as well as a great assortment of games. The kayaks and splash pad were fabulous providing hours of play. The lake side deck was perfect for relaxing in the shade while enjoying the lake and watching the play, while giving us a place to fish. Fishing was an issue as it seemed that the fish were laughing at me … jumping up out of the water near me but rarely deciding to bite! There is a huge lawn but unfortunately we discovered fire ants in multiple locations while setting up games … my guess is it was late in the season and nobody thought they needed to do another treatment … so that is something that needs to be taken care of. We were 6 adults and 2 children … we all greatly enjoyed our time at the Zen on the Bend.

Property was well maintained. AC did not disappoint. Location for us was a little awkward but not a inconvenience. Overall very nice property and ample space dor our group of six adults.

We loved this house! We had three generations of family, and the house was perfect for all of us. LOVED the water/dock/kayaks/Lily Pad/Floats/Life Vests; the game cart was great; and the house was spotlessly clean. Would definitely visit again.

Our family is always on the go and in every which direction. This is our second year staying at Zen on The Bend and it never disappoints. They have everything you need to have a fun and relaxing weekend. We enjoyed laying on the lily pad, going out for kayak rides and s’mores by the fire. We have made so many great memories here, we can’t wait to visit again next year.

Lovely property on the lake fully stocked with everything you need. There is a near by factory that can be loud at times, but you don’t even notice when your on the lake.

We had an amazing time at this river house! It was fully stocked with everything we needed from a high chair and playpen for the baby, to beach towels, and plenty of tubes and kayaks to enjoy on the river. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our group, and everyone slept comfortably. We’re hoping to come back next year! :)

The house slept 7 adults and 7 kids comfortably. The house had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Property is well maintained. This is a great river/lake property.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this rental - location, price, layout of house, amenities, cleanliness, you name it!! It started a new family tradition with our family friends and we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful house and property on the river. Very clean and well decorated. All you really need to bring is swimwear. I would give it 5 stars all around, but the evening noise from the nearby mill takes a little getting used to and in the morning, the neighbors dogs like to run into the yard and give you a good bark (all bark not bite). Otherwise, highly recommended and we do plan to come back.

Great house on the river for our family of 5! We enjoyed coffee on the patio, fishing on the dock, the kids kayaking across the river, and fires in the fire pit every night. Thanks for the great getaway!

We stayed over thanksgiving and had a great time. We had 5 adults and 3 teenagers and felt there was plenty of space. The covered patio was fantastic for morning coffee, or evening cocktails. The living room was large, and we gathered there to watch some football. One evening we used the fire pit. We fished from the dock and caught a few. The kitchen had tons of dishes which made cooking easy. We really thought the house was decorated nicely and had a great view! I would recommend this VRBO.
