10/10 The house is so well designed and has everything you could want. The dock, the little hut with furniture and fan and the fire pit are all perfect outdoor spaces. The water is deep off of the dock and you can dive from there and the little beach gave me a place to put in my paddleboard. There’s a little co-op/market with local foods about five minutes away (Mile Creek Market) and it had butter, milk, local produce, and provisions - the owner was so nice. I paddled up to the waterfall/swimming hole (3 miles each way) and it was so beautiful. I will definitely be back to the peaceful oasis!! Thanks Dani for the welcome basket and all of the great touches.

The perfect get away to recharge!

We spent a week in this perfectly quaint home on Lake Keowee. The home was more than spacious enough for the two of us and extremely well appointed. The owners did an amazing job of utilizing the space! Everything we needed was provided for and they were responsive quickly to any questions we had during our stay. We were there to have fun at the lake and the amenities outside the home were fabulous too! We were able to house our jet ski at the dock which had the most comfortable Adirondack chairs - perfect for having morning coffee or watching the late night sunset! We swam off the dock, enjoyed the use of the paddle board and "bobbed" in the lake in the late afternoons with the use of large noodles provided by the owner. We had a couple of late afternoons with a passing rain storm which we enjoyed experiencing from the comfort of the pavilion just up from the dock. It was so peaceful! Even in late July, we ate outdoors every night at the table on the patio. The home is equipped with Bluetooth speakers outdoors, allowing us to enjoy our favorite music while enjoying the outdoors and the tasty meals we made on the outdoor gas grill. I couldn't have enjoyed my stay more! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Dani's cottage. It is in a lovely and beautiful location, is stocked so well, and provides great opportunities to enjoy ones time. Thank you very much. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future, and would recommend it highly.

This was a stellar property for the two of us. The home is on the smaller side, but did not feel crowded or lacking. The king-size bed for the master bedroom and laundry machines were also selling points for us. The pot and pan selection was slim, but with the limited cabinet space, they did a good job covering the basics. The grill was used almost daily and did a great job. The outside living spaces, where we spent the majority of our time, were comfortable and provided wide-open views of Lake Keowee. Lake Keowee…just, wow. Clean and surprisingly clear, even after three days of hard rain. Not everyone wants or needs a 5 bedroom house that sleeps 16. For us, this lake house was an absolute gem. We will come back.

Property was excellent for our family of 4. Just the right size for us. We spent most of our time outdoors, and the pavilion worked out great. The kids loved the giant sandbox and using the steps down to the lake! The House was excellent, very clean, and well laid out.

This was our third visit to this great little house, and it did not disappoint. Everything we needed was there and there are so many fine details. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and the kayaks. We hope to return again someday for a fourth time.

I went with my husband and 2 teenage boys. This house is nothing short of cozy and amazing. The house is small but adorable and have everything you could need. We never felt crowded and really enjoyed all the extras the house has to offer. The lake is beautiful! It was quiet, little boat traffic ( even on the weekend), we kayaked without any worries The dock was great for fishing and just playing in the water. There is a covered sitting area by the lake which was wonderful. My husband and I sat for hours reading books and listening to music. This has by far been my favorite lake trip so far! We will definitely be back!

National parks, rivers, lakes, mountains. Get your boots on and enjoys the surrounding area. End up back at the lake house for some grilling and sitting by the water on the floating dock or on the couch at the old barn.

Had a great stay over recent long weekend. Wonderful little cabin with its own private dock. Great for enjoying the water. Dani is an excellent, accommodating host. We plan on coming back again in the future.

My family had the best time. Every detail of the house was perfect! So many extras... I always forget something but this house had it!! We loved the location! The dock was perfect and my girls had so much fun fishing. The outdoor space by the water...firepit, sand, comfortable furniture... we spent all day there. Large grass area was perfect to play and run around. Already looking into our next visit!

Very nice cozy Cabin, simple and nice,we enjoyed it.

First off, everything is done meticulously well in the home. Its smallish but perfect for 3-4 people. The owners have very nice taste and great design instincts. The property on which the house sits is right on the water. They have a nice dock to walk out onto and enjoy. There is also another "deck" on the land - which is a great place to enjoy time. Dani is a responsive host and gave all the info needed and more. We will definitely consider staying here again on our future trips to the area. Really nice place! Close to many outdoor activities and did I mention its on a lake? The only slight negative is that there are not many options for dining out within 10-15 mins... Expect to drive more like 20+....but if you plan well, there is no reason to leave!!

We loved this cottage! The location on the lake is beautiful. It was so relaxing. and such a comfortable feel all around. It was absolutely spotless with nice linens. The fire pit at the lake and the kayaking were so awesome! The basket of goodies was the most thoughtful touch! They even provide a leaf blower and an extra battery which came in handy because we stayed in the fall while the leaves were coming down. I hope to return to the area and would definitely stay again.

We had a great experience at lake keowee. She had everything we needed inside and outside. The place is so cute!!The view of the lake is just breathtaking with all the fall colors. We did some kayaking and the water was so warm(we are from Colorado)haha We will be back for sure!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this lake house. Dani has thought of everything and the home is well stocked with the essentials and many things to make your stay easy. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The lake is pristine and warm and we had a great time swimming, fishing and paddle boarding. There are also so many wonderful outside sitting spaces!! This is the best rental we have been to! Thank you Dani for all of the work and love that goes into this place!!

We were lucky to have found such a wonderful place within driving distance an on somewhat short notice. We love the absolute charm of this cottage. It was CLEAN, private enough and offered so many relaxing amenities. We wish we could have experienced it more. I suppose it means we must come back. We had one minor issue in which the owners were immediately responsive. We loved this place so much that we referred four couples to the listing within the first two days. Thank you Dani and all for sharing your labor of love!
