Direct access to the beach and the pier is a very short walk. The view is awesome, especially the sunrise and sunset. We had the pleasure of meeting Lee and Dawn during our vacation, and they are great hosts! This house has everything you need for your stay, but restaurants and grocery stores are very close by. This will be our go to place to stay in Atlantic Beach!

Spoiled by the views from the master bedroom and the easiest access to the beach. The house feels like an old family home that you visit at the end of the season.

Awesome location, walkable to many restaurants and the beach is your backyard. The pier (and pier restaurant) are 4 houses away down the beach. The house is well equipped with household needs and has tons of beach toys, chairs, etc. this is our second year staying at this home and we expect next year to be our third!

The pictures don’t do the property justice…the property was clean, beautiful, and relaxing. Getting in touch with the owners was never a problem. They were very responsive. I would love to go back again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week here! The location is great!! Walk to restaurants, bike to Ft Macon, or just wander out the deck door to the ocean. The well-appointed kitchen and family friendly seating made mealtimes easy and a great space for connecting after our sunny days outside. The spacious deck was also a family favorite. The house was clean with great light and plenty of space. The managers/owners were super friendly and easy to connect with. Highly recommend this place for family vacations!!

Have stayed here a few times now and it’s always been clean and ready to go when we arrived. Plenty of kitchen items to get started for the week in fantastic location. Great vacation again!

We loved the location of this property with beautiful views from the deck which was one of our favorite spots. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating of requests. Great spot for dogs too!

Property was ok. We had a 9mth old crawling and his knees and feet stayed black from the floors in the den and kitchen. The floors need a good cleaning.

Our stay at Whithaven 2 was absolutely wonderful! This was my first time booking through VRBO and won't be our last booking for Whithaven. We thoroughly enjoyed the oceanfront house. The view is spectacular. The house was extremely clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and ample linens. I was pleasantly surprised with how stocked the kitchen was and all the beach chairs and wagons available for use. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise.

This rental was perfect for our needs with a few restaurants within walking distance. Near the causeway and bridge for Morehead City and Beaufort visits. Comfortable beds! Many chairs on a great deck for views of dolphins, the pier, and sea birds.

It was the perfect get away place for us.

The location is great. It is an older house and was what I would call surface clean. There were food crumbs in the kitchen drawers and the cabinets are older with some dishes and spaces that hadn’t been used in a while. My big issue is that the upstairs bathroom is not really user friendly at all. It is very small, the shower curtain had mildew, the faucets all had rust and mildew in them or on them, and the left side sink had no hot water at all. That being said, for a unit that allows pets, it smelled great, the sheets were clean, and it wasn’t “pet dirty”. The furniture is older and the white wicker furniture in the upstairs room especially the nightstand needs some spills cleaned off/out of it. But there was obviously a great effort to keep the floors clean and sand free though. Nice new, large washer and dryers in the garage. We enjoyed our stay and overall, except for that upstairs bathroom, it is a nice place.

Great location with recent updates to bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved taking in the views of the beach each morning, and my family and I will definitely come back soon.

This property was incredible. Super clean, modern upgrades inside, and most importantly, spectacular views with direct access to the beach. Could not have asked for a better location. Hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. Huge shared deck on the lower level and great private deck on the upper floor master bedroom. Extremely dog friendly property. We will be staying here again and again.

We loved being steps from the beach and all of the outdoor area seating! Had a relaxing vacation, everything we needed was there! The host explained everything very well and left contact info in case we needed anything! Would definitely recommend!

Renting the Whithaven is always great . The view in the morning drinking coffee on the deck is tremendous. Short stroll to the beach to hang out by the water and also a short walk to the pier to fish eat or just simply hang out . The property was clean and homey feeling… I would recommend the Whithaven to anyone… Mr Lee is great if you have any questions about the property he is very prompt to answer whenever you need anything.. great property great stay looking forward to next year. After a few years of separation due to COVID, it was a great place to be together again as a family. The house is wonderfully located looking over the ocean. There is ample room to be together or find a nook for some time for yourself. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a terrific grill outside for summer cooking. The large deck outside let us gather together both day and night. We will return.

My family had a wonderful experience staying here! The neighborhood was private and quiet, but still close to the pier and to town. Access to the beach was perfect; and the beach area itself was very nice and not nearly as crowded as I had expected it might be. The outside rinse off station AND the outside shower were fantastic to have and so convenient! The home itself is beautiful - better than the pictures even! Clean, comfortable, modern, and roomy! The owners clearly care about their home and making sure the guests have a great experience. I contacted them with a couple of questions, and the response was almost immediate. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beachfront home to enjoy with your family!

First time at Atlantic beach, and so glad we chose to stay here. Went on a long weekend stay with my mom and grandmother, and we had the best time. Everything was clean and fully stocked (I mean, FULLY stocked.. anything you forgot, they had). Comfortable beds, beautiful deck, beautiful view. What more could you ask for :) The only thing I would note, for those that are disabled, there is a little bit of a hill to climb over the dunes to get to the beach, not much, but hard to pass over if you have mobility issues. That being said, there is public access at the pier that is straight out very close by. Thanks for allowing us to stay! Hope to be back!
