Loved it. HIGHLY recommend renting a golf cart if staying on this property. Very nice and comfortable

Only problem we had was there wasn’t any soap or shampoo in the showers.

The Shorething house was spectacular. The funishings, art deco, and exterior plants were wonderful. I especially loved the Bird of Paradise flowers. The owers take good care of this house. The kitchen was well supplied with good pots and pans. My family enjoyed staying at this house. I give this house an A+.

The house was great, lots of room for our group. It was a little stretch of a walk to the beach, 10 minutes with little kids. Two of the bedrooms did not have doors so it was challenging to get kids to bed in them. Loved that the pool was right next door and viewable from the deck of the house. The home was well stocked with essentials and no issues with anything.

Great family vacation. So far best house we have stayed at in all the years we traveled to at Port A Only set back was issues with beach location and golf carts getting stuck and getting to the area where golf carts are only allowed.

A beautiful house in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The check in process was very easy and convenient. A bit of a walk to the beach, but easily made up for with a rented golf cart - there is golf cart parking in the driveway. The proximity of the pool next door was fantastic in the afternoon. Very spacious, clean and well provisioned.

This house has it all. It’s beautiful and has all the amenities. We booked this house because of the elevator and we have some handicap people in our group. It’s gorgeous inside. 10/10 recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us. The littles especially loved the room at the top. Short walk to the beach was a plus. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had a great time. Everyone had space to chill, and space to be together. I would stay again.

The Shore Thing never disappoints, our 4th time to stay there and we LOVE everything about the house! Will be definitely going back.

We spent a wonderful week at this property with a group that included myself and my husband, my 86 year old mother, both of my adult children with their spouses, as well as my niece and my sister. The elevator was a game changer as it related to my mother being able to get around the house. It was a lovely location, the kitchen had any cooking item you could possibly need, and it is relatively close to the beach. I would recommend the rental of a golf cart to make it easier to bring people and items back-and-forth from the beach unless you are willing to drive your car on the beach which is an option. I highly recommend A Shore Thing for any family gathering!

We were very impressed with the property and all the amenities in it. The home was beautiful and spacious - of course too cold for the pool, but that was okay. The beach was a very short walk that we made quite a few times. The 6 bedrooms were great. We will use this property again as it had everything we needed and did not have to worry about anything.

This home is absolutely awesome! It is incredibly well stocked with all the necessities in the kitchen. The decks are fabulous. It is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The community pool is right next door and very nice. We rented a golf cart and it was a quick trip down to the beach with a very nice boardwalk. Important to note, the twin bed room and the full bed room don't have doors to close them off from the house, so my kids were up early each day.

Beautiful home and just a very short distance to the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and communication with the owner was awesome! Highly recommend any family get together at this property.

A Shore Thing is everything we hoped for. We enjoyed being just minutes from the beach and the convenience of being able to drive a golf cart on the boardwalk. The house is beautiful and has all of the amenities - fully appointed kitchen, comfortable living space - a place for everyone. The elevator is a game-charger when you need to lug groceries and suitcases to the 3rd floor! Access to the garage was a plus as well and there are lots of pool/beach toys to use. Rosie, thank you for your quick responses and for the little extra time on check-out day! We had a wonderful time and hope to be back in the near future.

This property is large however the twin room is not a real bedroom it is a loft area that is open to the kitchen so noisy and there is no door to close. Bedroom that is orange had horrible bed mattress sunk in middle. No blankets on any of the beds. Lights come in the bedrooms all night long. Owner decided there was sand on the floor so wanted to keep part of our deposit. We all rinsed before entering so any sand was just what came in on clothing. Beach house with no sand is not a likely happening so we wonder if she always says that and keeps some deposit to pay her cleaning people. No rugs in the house so house was not particularly comfortable. Kitchen was poorly outfitted. Lots of plates but large bowls are cracked or had hole in bottom. Pans were scratched and in poor condition. We have rented places at Port A for the last 60 years and this was the worst will file complaint with VRBO as well

What an incredible property right off the beach in a Private community. House is fantastic with all the amenities you’ll need. Just outside of town so you get peace and quiet.

The whole family loved this house. The cleanliness, location and amenities were excellent! We had 8 adults and 4 children and there more than enough space. Cannot wait to go back in 2023!

We had 12 people on our family vacation. The house was amazing and was everything we could have asked for. We were close to the pool which was a huge bonus. We had enough room for the whole family to stay comfortably. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful beach house with well-equipped kitchen and large bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of space for eating, watching TV, and playing games. Close proximity to the pool and beach.

The house was perfect for our family group of 9. The elevator helped save my legs! It was our first time in Port A and we really enjoyed this location. The kids swam in the pool every day. The house was very clean and well supplied - plenty of bath towels and lots of dinner plates, drinking and wine glasses. Something to note: the bedroom with the twin beds is open to the kitchen/ living area - up about six steps from the kitchen and no door to the room. So any noise from below is easily heard. Other than that, the spaces are all very large and comfy. We wished we could stay longer!

Enjoyed our stay in “A Shore Thing”. The listing represents the house well. We had plenty of room to play games and beds for everyone. Access to the beach was convenient. Our family made wonderful memories.
