Property was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Huge fenced yard was perfect for the dog and two little kids to run around. The beach is accessible by 104 steps. Was not realistic for the little kids or the dog or for fishing. If you want a quiet get away, this home is perfect

This is a lovely property. It is accurately represented in the VROB listing. Property is a large corner lot with lots of fully fenced outdoor space.Lots of space inside as well, lovely screened porch in the back. We made use of the screen porch a lot. The living room area is quite warm in the afternoon and early evenings with the large windows at the front offering a lovely view, but also allowing unrestricted sunshine into the room. Dining table is beautiful and can seat 8 people comfortably. The cleaning personnel are very conscientious and thorough. The host George was immediately available and ready to go above and beyond to mitigate problems that arose with the BBQ. Thanks George. We had a very relaxing, quiet stay, watching birds and chipmunks, deer and rabbits. Great central location for short day trips. We will definitely book again.

We enjoyed the house near Bayfield! The completely fenced in backyard was amazing for our dog and 2 year old son. The layout of the house was spacious for him to play and he really enjoyed the toys provided. Both sets of grandparents and ourselves had room at the dinner table and large kitchen. A/C was great, 3 bathrooms ensures everyone had access and the bath tub upstairs was great for our son. We were very pleased there was a toddler appropriate room with toddler beds. Everyone enjoyed soaking up sun on the deck. The street is quiet and our son went up and down it with his bicycle. It was nice to see the water and check out the beach but it wasn’t quite safe enough for our son, a fair amount of stairs and rocks. And we were unsure if we could use other parts of the beach depending on if it was the neighbours property. However Goderich is nearby (20min) with lots of beaches and amazing playgrounds. There are many playgrounds in the area and a couple museums he would have enjoyed if we had more time. We also visited River Road Brewery 5min away that had farm animals, live music and beer! So there is plenty to do in the area. As long as you’re willing to drive 5-20min to check out beaches, trails, and shops you’re all set as the neighbourhood is very small, friendly and quiet, down the road is a highway, so when I tried jogging locally with my dog there wasn’t many options but I should have just popped in the car and went somewhere else. Overall very happy with our stay!

This was a beautiful cottage filled with a lot of amenities and great access to the beautiful waterfront! We had a great time here. The place could benefit from having a centralized book with instructions, directions to the beach, and rules as we found it hard to gather information quite often. This meant we were messaging the host, who was sometimes hard to reach, more often than we would have liked. There was also conflicting information given to us on the website and other portals. The cleaners were also still working while we were trying to check in to the property.

Lovely area and so enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful yard ... trees and extraordinary deck with screened in area . The host was exceptional in addressing any concerns we had. Very spacious with lovely natural light throughout the main floor. We enjoyed the large kitchen area for cooking and the proximity to Bayfield made shopping a joy. Thank-you George for a great get away!

Lots of space for four couples to enjoy. Some liked the baseball games on television and some played crib in the screened in porch. Ample room in kitchen for people to help prepare food and nice to have two refridgerators for all the food. The beach was good and easy to get to. Lots of room at the diningroom table. We enjoyed all of our meals together there. Would be nice to have one big tree removed for better view of lake. Nice quiet road and private yard to enjoy.

Our family had a GREAT week, and we enjoyed the sunroom, the open space of the living/dining/kitchen area, and the back yard with the firepit and run for our pets!!

We had a great time cooking in the large kitchen and sitting in the lanai enjoying meals. That second fridge in the basement was great for holding leftovers! Trekking to the beach was fun with our floaties and beach bags...the beach is natural and pretty private. Locals here were friendly about sharing their rustic beach. Evenings under the starts at the fire pit: perfect way to end a day after frolicking in the waves. Walking down to the beach for sunsets was magic too. Ontario is so lucky to have the coast of Lake Huron. A great stay for a group of friends. Thank you:)

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Nature’s cottage. The cottage is great! It is spacious and the kitchen is stocked with everything we needed to prepare big family meals. We loved the big wraparound deck with tons of comfortable seating where we spent a lot of time. It was perfect for a family vacation! We loved the beautiful trees and the birds. The neighbourhood is quiet and lovely.

We had a lovely time on this property, close to Bayfield village and all its amenities yet private. The windows and tall ceilings allow you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings from every angle. George was incredibly helpful and accommodating. A wonderful way to kick off the summer!

What you see is what you get and, what you get is fantastic. George is great, literally anything you need he is a phone call away. He got in touch at the half way point to make sure everything was going well which it was. The property. The property is exactly like the pictures, actually the back yard and deck are Bigger! We had 5 adults and two dogs stay, there was definitely enough room for us (Dogs were in heaven). The house was spotless! Like the description the beaches are only a couple of minutes away. The one beach that has the stairs leading down to it we loved for watching the sunsets, I highly recommend. The other beach which george describes is definitely better for day time lounging. The town of Bayfield is absolutely beautiful and only 7ish minute drive away. Well worth going to for a meal or two. Overall the trip was what we imagined and couldn't of been happier. George was more than happy to help in any way so our time at this beautiful cottage ends up being as comfortable and as memorable as possible. Walk to the beach was very enjoyable since it takes only couple of minutes to get to it. Beach itself is isolated and beautiful so we spent couple of hours just enjoying the view and calm and quiet environment. Property itself is huge. The deck that's wrapped all around the cottage gives a feeling of luxury and pure enjoyment. BBQ is well maintained with two additional propane tanks on the side. Very spacious backyard with plenty of sitting arrangements around fire pit. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Large kitchen is equipped with everything and more that you need to make any kind of meal.Overall an amazing Property on amazing location. We are already taking a look at next available dates so we can book another trip at this beautiful cottage.

We had a great time at Nature’s cottage! George went above and beyond to make our family getaway fantastic! Full fenced in backyard and deck for our dog to enjoy outside! Very clean, well stocked and the kids loved the basement! Would definitely go back! Cottage was very cozy and open concept gave us lots of room!

We had a lovely weekend away at George’s place. The large open living spaces and fully stocked kitchen made it the perfect location to cook and enjoy meals as a group, the backyard and fire pit were great to soak in the last of the good weather at night. The rooms were all spacious and made for a very comfortable stay. George was very accommodative and readily available with any questions we had, as well as offered detailed information and tidbits to enhance our stay. Check in process was simple (just a door code for our stay) which made it very convenient as we didn’t know our exact arrival time with traffic. George was also very generous in offering early check in and late check out without us even requesting it, which allowed us to make the most out of our weekend without feeling rushed on Sunday morning (as one often does with these things). Thanks for a great place and great memories!
