We loved the open feel of the kitchen. We could move around without bumping into each other and there is enough space to store groceries. The living room also has a welcoming vibe and very comfortable furniture. Bedrooms are spacious, beds comfy, slept soundly!!😴 We enjoyed our stay immensely!!

We had a great stay at this property. It was very close to the beach and not super crowded which was really nice. The house itself had all the accommodations we needed. Our kids loved the big swing under the porch. Communication with the owner was great. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Overall we had a nice stay. You can tell the house is a well loved family beach home. Pros: -The location is great with a short walk to the beach. -Price is really great for the area with most places being way more expensive in South Bethany -Well appointed kitchen with everything you could need for cooking including oil and spices -house was clean -Beds were comfortable -Kids loved the swing under the house Cons: -Only main complaint is that the house has a very damp feel. Which also I think leads to a bit of a dingy smell to the house. A dehumidifier would likely help a ton.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House is exactly as described in the listing...you can't ask for anything more than that. Great value compared to the other rental options in the area. Walk to the beach was easy and South Bethany is a great place for a family. We would definitely rent Sandpiper Pines again.

I am sorry to write a poor review, but with so many high ratings, I think it should be known that this house was very disappointing. Maybe it would work if you are just looking for a place to sleep after a full day at the beach, which you can walk to if you want to cross the highway and lug everything.... but I can't think of any other way of describing it but dingy. The carpet is old and dirty, the light bulbs are all different shades of orange and yellow, the cleaning supplies are super gross, bbq propane tank empty (which the owners also say you can go fill up yourself -- no thanks), the beach chairs rusty and the umbrella didn't even work. Oh it shakes too, which is super comforting. I thought that with the description about this being the family's "loved" beach house that it would be cute and well kept-- but as a renter that is not a member of their family -- it was not a good experience.

We enjoyed our trip to Bethany Beach. The house was in a great location and we could easily walk to the beach. We enjoyed a peaceful getaway. We notified the owner about a broken beach umbrella and the bottom oven not heating properly. The house was clean and the large eat in kitchen worked out great. My only recommendation is to update the beds as they were not comfortable. The bottom bed in bunk room felt to be like a futon pad, not a mattress.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Pines. The house was nice & the area was quiet. The only one "problem" was the bedrooms have to much light coming in at night. We like a dark room. The queen bed for us bothered our backs we are use to an adjustable bed & "regular" mattress. That bed is a tempurpedic mattress.

"Joans Arc" was super cute and clean on a quiet street walking distance to the beach. Its like staying at your Aunts house at the shore. Furnature is older but in great condition. Family vibe all around. I would certainly stay there again.

My daughter and I had a lovely week-long stay! The neighborhood was quiet and the house was clean and super comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied and we were able to make many of our meals "at home" instead of having to eat out. Communication with the property owners was terrific- rapid responses to questions and very friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also, the pictures do not do justice to the comfort and coziness of this home. It is located close to the beach and to several restaurants where the food was awesome! A terrific value and a wonderful stay!

This property is near a neighborhood we have frequented for years so we were familiar with and love the area. The house is older and many things are not updated. It definitely could use a new refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer. There is one queen size bed, a bunk bed with 2 full size parts and another full size bed. It would have been better to have another queen size bed. We had 2 couples and a double bed is pretty small. The house is well equiped with dishes and cookware.

A cute house just a short bike ride from bethany beach and a 15 minute bike ride from town square. My family and I enjoyed everything about this house from the quiet neighborhood to the countless ammentitites.

We stayed a week July 2-9. The house was a short walk from the beach nestled I to the woods. So happy to discover that mosquitos were not an issue! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals to keep things inexpensive. We rented bikes from Fenwick Bikes. The boardwalk is only 1.5 mi away so biking there was popular with the teens. Molly, the property manager was very responsive There were beach chairs in the bin that we were happy to have access to. There is a large stock of DVDs but surprisingly no other games so bring some of your own. Overall, this home is reasonably priced and in a very accessible location to everything the shore has to offer!

This place had such a homey feel from the moment we walked through the door to the time we were leaving. Everything was very clean and instruction were perfect to understand and worked well. The property manager was very friendly too. Would definitely rent again and have recommended to friends already.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication beforehand was excellent, check in was easy, and the property had everything we needed (except what we were told ahead of time to bring). The kids loved the outdoor swing, and it was great to be able to walk to the beach. We appreciated the quieter area too.

Joan’s Ark was the perfect house and location for a long spring weekend getaway. A very clean, comfortable and cozy house to call home for 3 nights. Loved the huge kitchen! Hoping to go back again soon!

Enjoyed our stay here for sure. The house is not perfect, but I don’t know of a rental that is. I liked that it was family owned and they still have a vested interest in the property. Walking distance to a lot of places and a short drive to anywhere else you might want to go. We didn’t stay in the house much besides to eat a quick meal and sleep. Besides that we were on the beach! South Bethany/ Middlesex Community is one that can’t be beat! Thanks for letting us stay!

This is clearly a beach home that is well loved and taken care of. We found it to be the perfect intersection of comfortable and clean. We would be thrilled to stay at the property again.
