It was a beautiful property and very relaxing. We floated on the water, kayaked and fished. The only downside was the knats. They got into the house at night. But other than that it was a perfect weekend.

Spacious, clean, very accommodated, kitchen is fully equipped. Overall great place!

Hosts were the greatest, home was lovely with nearly everything you would need. Foos ball, horseshoes, barbecue, fire pits, private dock with chairs and tables, table games, close to water sport rental, My family all enjoyed it from 70 to 7 years, Great getaway!!

The Lawrence family had one of the most wonderful lake vacation's in your beautiful rental house. All the upgrades and new beds were fantastic! The house was super clean when we came in and the floors were spotless! Thank you and see you next summer!!

I absolutely recommend this lakehouse. A beautiful home and so extremely welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils... The backyard was great for hanging out & playing horseshoes. Although we didn't catch any fish there is plenty of space for fishing.

Through out our monthlong wait to move into our new home in Kelseyville, we stayed in the following pet friendly places, the Skylark, Blue Lakes Lodge, a nightmare AirB&B, the Famed Dome house and was hands down the last vacation rental we booked, Jon And Susan’s~ SUNSET BEACH HOUSE. Perfect. We are 8 hrs away, loved the house, the amenities, the dock. Host is great. Caught a fish the last day, next time we will spend more time fishing. Not a resort area, but you can definitely feel comfortable and relax here. Lovely experience. Thank you.

This home is beautiful, well stocked, great floor plan and the beds and linens are exceptional. Susan is also exceptional and so accommodating. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the lake (not ideal for kids to swim in) but it’s a great fishing lake and having a fire pit next to the lake is cool! Just a note if you are bringing kiddos, there are lots of gnats around the lake, they don’t bite but the kids didn’t enjoy them. We had a great time visiting the area and using Susan’s place as our home base (blue lake is 15 mins away and better for swimming and lake activities for kids, wine tasting and trip to San Francisco made perfect day trips). Communication was excellent. Property was amazing! Extras really made our stay fun.. canoe was a great experience for every family member! Fishing was great!

this is a great spot for gathering your family and friends at clearlake. photos do not do it justice! it’s really a wonderful home - so spacious. the backyard and patio area is really quite enjoyable! you can’t beat the private dock/pier access right across from the home’s driveway. sitting out there over the water in the morning, afternoon and evenings for sunset is just lovely. even with the lower lake level these days, its still tops. hot tub on side of house is a nice little bonus. the bird watching here is simply incredible!! do keep the doors/windows without screens closed in the summer evenings - those tiny gnats will definitely find their way inside. they are harmless but could be annoying to some people. john and susan were so nice. they were around if needed and easy to talk with but otherwise offered privacy. would definitely rent this home again and we hope to be back. could not have been a better location for labor day weekend and our group of six. thank you!

The Sunset Beach House was great. Our family and friends had a great time. The house was clean and well maintained. Jon and Susan were very responsive to any question we had. Susan even referred us to her neighbor who had a pontoon boat for rent. We enjoyed our time there and would go again.

The house met and exceeded all our expectations, everything was very clean up to date and very well maintained. The foosball table was an unexpected bonus as was the canoe that was included. Nothing was left to be desired. Having a jetski, kayaks and boats available for rent right next door was also a very nice convenient bonus that we took full advantage of.

House is sparking clean, with a large well-outfitted kitchen, plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor space. Great dock with lots of shade, room for our little sailboat and our motor boat. Easy fishing from the dock. (We caught and released.) Young adults enjoyed the hot tub after lake time. One of the nicest houses we’ve found available for vacation rental in Clearlake.
