Came in on Friday night , left on Monday morning . Very short trip but the house was so clean and comfortable , we didn’t want to leave . Everything was ready for us to start enjoying our stay . When I thought ….. oh no I’ll bet we don’t have XYZ ….. it was there !! Nice place and very comfortable . Thank you Rebecca and Anne !!!!

Very clean and cozy place in a great location

It was great having a small fenced yard so our pup could run around without a leash. Kitchen and bath nice and well stocked. Just wish the bed had been larger😉

Walking distance to the beach!

Very clean, quiet with plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of places to sit and relax.

This place is less than five minutes from everything on the island. It had everything we needed to make meals and a great place to let the dogs run free. A short 2 minute drive to the beach.

The bed was comfy, the yard perfect for our 65 lb pup and the location was a short walk to the beach. (Didn’t have to take our car to beach, didn’t have to rent a cart. ) Oh and did I mention all was nice and clean! Anne (owner) and Rebecca (office manager) we’re both so welcoming and sweet. Both available at our beck and call. We also had a very enjoyable time with our winter Texan neighbors.

As always, we enjoyed our holiday weekend in The Wahoo Quarters. It's our third time to stay here in 12 months; so that should say a lot! Booking is easy; contact with agent is never an issue; check-in and check-out is seamless; everything we need is in the cottage. And they are great to let us bring our two best friends (dogs, of course!). We will be back again soon!

Nice coastal get-a-way!

Loved all the artwork in the condo and the nearness to the beach. Fenced in yard for dogs to play!

The host was always nearby (in a good way) and we often had social distance drinks with her and the neighbors while our dogs played in the shared front yard. The beach is walking distance, so I nightly walk on the beach was a welcomed and refreshing routine. At night, the little one bedroom apartment was perfect for our us, our baby, and a very sandy dog to relax, cook and get a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend for couples or small families!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Wahoo unit! It was so clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was simple - Anne called me that day (we got a late start) and gave me all the info I needed to get in (and answered my questions about the beach as it was our first time). The Welcome Book had great food recommendations and the location was close to so many great options, but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. Speaking of location - the house is on a cul-de-sac so there isn’t much traffic at all, making it safe and quiet. You’re only about an 8 minute walk to the beach via Sandcastle Rd - we brought a wagon to tote our stuff and our toddler and it was perfect. They had what looked like shared beach gear and toys in case you forget yours. Even the neighbors staying in the units next to us were friendly and helpful! I’d love to come back soon.

We utilized this duplex for the Labor Day weekend. Check in was smooth, the house very tidy, and the property manager had it all prepared for our arrival. Perfect space for 2 adults and 2 dogs (nice green shared yard a real bonus for the dogs). The walk to the beach is maybe 10-12 minutes, depending on the direction you take. A/C worked really well. Cable TV with lots of stations was great, as well as the complimentary wi-fi. There's off-street parking in back of unit, but can be quite tight if parking an over-sized SUV or truck. Only a couple of very minor things that would really help: 1 or 2 cleaning pods for the washing machine (we brought our own luckily), a few upgraded utensils in the kitchen, and ensuring all the electrical outlets work. It's a very quaint unit, on a quiet cul-de-sac off the main road and we would definitely utilize it again!

The property was clean and just as expected. The property manager was, so accommodating. Seriously best customer experience. The property is walking distance to the beach, close to some stores and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

The wahoo was a perfect cottage for our family of three. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook at home, and the grill was great. Thank you so much!

The description of this property was completely accurate and actually exceeded our expectations. Which isn’t easy to do. Communication was clear and simple. We loved our stay and will be making it our annual getaway spot.

Arranging the rental with Ann was a breeze from beginning to end. The condo itself was awesome, so cute and everything so nice with every detail taken care of. The location is great, the fenced front lawn is perfect and so well cared for. The back area was perfect for having a place to rinse off before coming inside from the beach, for cooking on the grill, and for having a place to keep all your beach things ready to go for the next day! We will be back to this home away from home!

We had an excellent stay from check-in to check-out. The place was clean and the managers were nice. And just a short walk to the beach. Stay away from the local DQ, though..but that is a different review.

Perfect location for walking to beach, patio and grill were nice for meals since we didn’t want to eat out. Clean and comfortable....Great place, but expensive when all extra fees were added up.

Very clean and loved the décor -felt like a place I could live in. The fenced in front yard was perfect and enjoyed hanging out with the family renting next door. This is the place I will be sure to stay in again and refer to others.

It was a very fun , and relaxing experience. The beach was right around the corner and it is in a very good spot.

Great location in a nice modern and spacious cabin. Plus it’s dog friendly. Love the proximity to beach, it’s easily walkable. Only minor issues: were we ran out of paper towels (only 1 roll provided) and no salt/pepper in the shakers (both empty).

Enjoyed the beach, comfortable stay!

We rented this place last minute for a family getaway. Ann was great. The place was clean, comfortable and surprisingly roomy. Good beds and shower. The beach is an easy walk and we rented a golf cart which was convenient and fun to drive around town. Coffee Waves and Tortuga’s are highly recommended.

This is our 2nd time staying in the Wahoo Quarters and it will not be the last. The fenced in yard is a huge selling point for us because it allows us to feel comfortable letting our dogs out to go potty, even at night, in a place that is unfamiliar for them. It feels very secure. We really appreciate that and it’s a rare amenity! We also greatly appreciate that they allow more than one dog, as we have 2. Most rental properties we realized only allow one dog! We had a great time and we will be back!

We enjoyed the stay. It’s not beach front which was fine with us. Technically the beach is in walking distance, but we drove each time. Wish we would’ve rented a golf cart due to all the sand in my car haha. Our condo was clean and really convenient to town. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to a friend or family member.
