We rented this property along with the Scituate House which is next door. The yards are connected and it was super convenient for our large golf group of 12 guys. The house is great and the garage pool hall with 2 murphy beds was a big hit. Great property in a great location.

We came for a family event, but this place would be perfect for a golf outing!

You can't ask for a better house and location! It's perfect for big groups, and it's within a stone's throw of downtown Pinehurst. Perfect stay!!

Perfect house for a guys’ golf trip. Our group of twelve guys easily fit in the house and the house is exactly as described. Easy walk to many restaurants and bars. Would definitely rent again if we end up in Pinehurst again next year. (Pro tip: make sure you enlist the services of Wally to set your trip up for success).

We rented the Craddock Cottage for a multi family golf/spa weekend at Pinehurst. The property was perfect. The site manager, Brandon was very easy to work with, although we really didn't need anything. Plenty of rooms and beds. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The kitchen was well stocked, the extra ice maker is a bonus. The outbuilding with the pool table, beds and bath was perfect for the 20somethings in the group. Can't wait to come back to Craddock Cottage.

There were 8 of us in town for a golf trip. The house couldn't have been more perfect. Everything in listing is correct. The carriage house(set up as a pool table room) was the crowning touch. We will be back next year.

Rented this, and the Scituate House, for our extended family for a wedding weekend. They were perfect, and the pool table in the carriage house was a huge hit! Owner was very responsive to my questions, always very quickly, and soooo helpful. Would love to stay here again!

The Craddock is purpose built for golfers. Every room has two double beds. The house has tons of TV's, a poker table and a pool table. We only had 6 guys in the house, but it easily could accommodate more than twice that. Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Our host Brandon was extremely accommodating when it came to our arrival time and available to help with anything we needed. Choose this house!! Definitely worth the money.

An incredible stay at the Craddock-Tufts home & antique carriage house. Absolutely loved my stay at this home. I was at a golf trip with 23 other friends from undergrad...we rented the Craddock and Scituate houses for our large group... Everyone in our group thought that these two houses exceeded every expectation! Having both houses so close was key to having a successful outing. The Craddock House is beautifully restored and updated with everything we needed, including a large number of bathrooms which made getting ready in the morning a breeze. This was probably the first time everyone was on time for golf! The houses have great proximity to everything in the village of Pinehurst, every place was walkable. The carriage house features a pool table which became a favorite hang out after golf. We had Wally and AJ from "The Experience" coordinate all of our golf functions, travel to and from the golf courses, and cooking breakfast and dinner for the group (the Scituate house had a large dining area and was where the food was served). The organization from Wally and the food from AJ was top notch and made this annual golf trip the best one in the 28 years that we have been doing it. I think I gained 5 pounds from the incredible food made by AJ, thanks again AJ (Go Dawgs!)! Wally is a great organizer and every request was completed in a timely fashion and done to perfection. I can't say enough about the wonderful service from Wally and AJ. Thanks Brandon for allowing our group to stay at your two houses. An absolutely incredible experience that we hope to repeat next year!

We had 6 families staying in The Craddock House and Scituate House for Thanksgiving. Brandon was very responsive to my questions prior to our visit. The houses are very nicely supplied. Having 2 beds in each room gave us a lot of flexibility. We did have to bring in extra chairs and tables since we were 24 on Thursday, but we had room in Scituate to make that happen. Everybody liked being in the middle of the Village. The only thing we wished the two houses had were bedside lamps in the bedrooms. We would not hesitate to book these houses again.

Third time returning to the Craddock. Obviously, the reason is the house is excellent. It is one of the oldest in the village but completely re-done and updated without losing the historic charm. Already working on next year!!

Five stars for sure! Our 12 person golf outing used this as basecamp and it felt more like home. The proximity up the lane to downtown meant that we could play golf, shower, and walk to the pub in number of steps rather than minutes. A dream location for a buddies golf outing, great WIFI, and TVs galore from kitchen to bedrooms. Wally was more concierge than house host. Any golf outing should seriously consider employing him to be the local organizer. He is able to make tee times, arrange caddies, plan meals, give advice on the best local place to have an iPhone repaired, or anything a true local would selflessly share. He even jumped in and played a round with us when our group was 1 man short. Chef AJ cooked breakfasts and dinners for us, removing all of the work, and he even prepped a meal we could bake on our own upon arrival, ready in the frig for us to manage. Food was excellent. Edith the massage therapist has a studio a block away and is one of the best I have ever found, flexible with evening schedules after golf. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this new place booked every week during peak golf months, it’s a great find.

Everything was great, all the essentials were readily available, lots of room, the carriage house was so much fun and we had some great nights playing pool, BBQ was awesome, bedrooms all had 2 beds and bathrooms were plentiful and modern. Lots of TVs, lovely large kitchen, nice TV room and we didn’t even have time to play cards in the card “den”. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Pinehurst wanting to stay in the villlage needing multiple rooms for friends and family. Enjoy!

The house is amazing. Love the character of the house. Great house for an event especially due to number of bathrooms to get ready in, and of course the number of beds. The carriage house was so unexpected and offered an additional great location to hang out (especially as it was HOT when we visited). Owner was so responsive the whole way through from the initial booking until checkout. Fantastic location, with plenty of parking! I would book it again in a heartbeat. My only request would be more serving bowls, serving utensils, cutting boards, tea towels, more coffee cups (and directions for the coffee maker). Thanks for an amazing stay. I just LOVED this house.

Craddock Cottage worked out perfectly, for our recent family weekend. Plenty of room for the adults within the main house and a separate space for the adult children to hangout, play pool and then later transition into their sleeping quarters when the evening ended! The Village is steps away, where shopping, food & beverages can be enjoyed. It is also in close proximity to the Holly Inn and The Carolina. While there was no need to reach out to the owners during our stay, leading up to it, the owners were very responsive, helpful and accommodating!

Great house with a great location just minutes walking from Pinecrest Inn and Pinehurst Village. Perfect for our 12 man high school golf weekend reunion.

My family stayed here for our son’s wedding weekend. It was just the perfect spot. Everyone had there own space. The layout of the house lends to privacy for everyone. The separate guest house was perfect for our floral work. But could also be a great extra entertaining space. Outdoor area is great also. And the proximity to the Old Village restaurants and bars is wonderful. One of the owners came by personally to see if we needed anything. Thank you Brandon. And he was always quick to respond to any questions or request. It just could not have been a better weekend and this fantastic VRBO was the perfect fit.

Location was perfect- easy walk to Village restaurants and short drive to numerous golf courses. Very comfortable for a dozen golfers in town for 4 nights/3 days. Plenty of space, especially enjoyed the carriage house room with large TV and pool table. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.
