Casa #5 was delightful…. It was just like the photos. Festive decor, the lofts were open and breezy, we never used the AC, and open windows were delightful. The pool was totally refreshing and super clean. We walked to restaurants that our host recommended, and they were wonderful. We’ll be back sooner than later.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in early March 2024. Here are our pro's and con's of the residence. Pro's: The house is located in a secure, fenced compound along with about 17 other houses in an easily accessible part of Loreto. Pool area is right outside your front door. The house has a great backyard sitting area and a great upper floor deck off one of the upstairs bedrooms. We stayed in the main floor bedroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The house is well equipped with everything that you'll need for your stay. Location is excellent. Grocery store is a 2 minute walk, and most restaurants and shops are within an easy 10 - 15 minute walk. Cons: The house is getting somewhat dated, but nothing that will affect your stay. I'm not sure how the water system works at the complex, but it seemed that the unit we were in supplied water to the unit next door, so we were annoyed with the non-stop sounds of the pump feeding them.their shower water every morning at 0600, and it is not a quiet pump.

The property was well equipped and near the central area of town. We were to meet the property manager between 2-4, but when we arrived, she was at lunch. Her daughter came to take us to the property. When we arrived our designated parking spot was occupied. The daughter told us to park in front of the area and we were accosted by another occupant almost immediately telling us we couldn’t park there and when I suggested we were merely unloading, he shouted that we weren’t wanted there. Eventually we were able to park and we’re treated well by everyone else in the complex. I would recommend this property, definitely. Thanks for the great memories.

Two very key elements are lacking at this villa that take it away from getting #1 rating: 1. The pool is not heated and it is so cold, we were unable to use it for the 27 days we were there. 2. The WiFi needed to be reset on a daily basis - sometimes three or four times in one day. One other suggestion is that the light over the kitchen sink is broken and makes the kitchen area very dark. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the communication with the property owner; however, the above #1 and #2 makes our likelihood of returning very low.

We are a family of 5 adults, including 2 couples. This space was a great size for us. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of amenities available for us. The casa is in a small gated area with about 20 homes, yet is right in Loreto, and is right next to a grocery store, and close to tons of restaurants and shops. We had difficulty with the check-in process as we had to pick up the key from a different location than the home and the property manager could not be found for around an hour. Luckily, her family came in to save the day. Communication with and ability to contact the property manager over the duration of our trip was not good and I hope this was a temporary situation as we were there for the Christmas holidays. Although there is room for improvement for the check-in and out process and support from the property manager, I would still stay here again as the home is lovely and the location was awesome. My wife and I with our 2 adult daughters and their husbands stayed in this charming casa in Loreto BCS. First of all, the city of Loreto is an amazing out of the way place to escape the wintery grasp of the midwest! Lots of excellent restaurants, lots of shops, great fishing and diving, and very friendly people. The casa is in a great location, literally 100yds from the supermarket, has a pool and the casa is back off from a busy street. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was reasonably stocked with cooking utensils. There is a washer/dryer located off the back patio. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Nice location and pretty grounds. The casa is very nice and the king bed is super comfortable. The pool is right outside the door and refreshing! People are friendly and the property manager was super responsive. Enjoyed our stay immensely!
