We had a wonderful time at Summer House! From the very beginning of the reservation process until the end, everything was exceptional. The house is in a perfect location and has everything necessary to make your stay lovely. Mary was so kind and helpful too. We will certainly come again.

Had a fabulous time at Summer House.The house was even better in person.The main reception had a restaurant, gym facilities & massive pool with a beautiful sea view especially in the sunshine.You need transport because the taxis will charge more as the area is more affluent, so we arranged car hire during our stay.It is a 30 mins walk to Holetown where banks,shops,restaurants, bars are etc.Mary the house keeper was a delight.All the mod cons in the house ( pool & barbecue in the garden came in handy)and property manager was at hand to deal with any queries. The resort was safe and secure and staff on site were very friendly.

I never met the manager while I was there So there was no hospitality team available to us. the mattresses are really bad and the cottage was really dusty. Barbados is really beautiful I would rather pay more and get more service.

We were all thrilled to stay in this beautiful villa! Paul answered all of our 100 😂questions by email promptly and accurately before we arrived. It was a perfect setup for 4 couples and Mary, the housekeeper, was absolutely the best!The villa is light and airy and is decorated beautifully. It is set in an amazing community with a lovely pool and restaurant, Carizma on the Hill, within walking distance. A rental car is necessary to get to the beach, but a nice setup with chairs and food/beverage service once there! Loved walking in the morning to see the monkeys which were amazing. A real tropical paradise!

A beautiful house and an ideal location close to restaurants and the beach . Mary the housekeeper was very friendly and effficient. Paul also made the booking process very easy and he was quick to respond to any questions that I had . We will definitely return to the property and would recommend it ! Summerhouse is a beautiful villa, it’s nicely located on the Sugar hill estate, and is very spacious and comfortable. It’s well appointed, and Mary the house keeper is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa very highly.

Hassle free , relaxing, and very enjoyable. All needs from a property were provided and well maintained. The staff was very attentive to all requests.

We had a wonderful time at the Summer House. Paul was so helpful during the planning process, quick to respond and very accommodating. We were so pleased with Cynthia checking on us throughout our stay. Mary kept the home very clean and laundry service was so helpful! She was always so kind to us and our two little ones. The house is just as described. The plunge pool kept our kids entertained until we were ready to go to one of the two large pools on the property. Sugar Hill is a wonderful community. Highly recommend a car if you do not want to call taxis all the time. We tried walking to the beach but with the heat and stroller we opted to taxi back. The fairmont beach access that comes with the House was so nice. There is a delicious restaurant that will deliver to the property Zaccios. For dining at Sugar Hill, check restaurants hours, we came back one afternoon only to realize they don’t serve lunch that day. Highly recommend stopping at Limegrove Lifestyle Center in Holetown, nice food options, a bar with 2 for 1 drinks during happy hour, and a variety of stores. A few notes, that did not stop us from loving our experience. The bedrooms did have air conditioning and fans but being August the common areas did not and could get warm when their wasn’t a breeze and the ceiling fans weren’t enough. Most restaurants in Barbados aren’t air conditioned but you get used to it. TVs would have been nice in the bedrooms to entertain the kids but completely get most people come to the Caribbean to unplug. The Summer House was plenty of space for our family (4 adults and 2 kids). The cottage is cute and right next door but we did not use it. Having a full bath in each bedroom was very convenient. The rooms were nice and spacious. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, cups, plates, etc you could need. The grocery store is close by in Holetown so you can stock up. We are a family of 8 and used the villa and cottage, everything was absolutely fantastic about our stay, what a lovely accommodation and facilities at hand, hence our 5 star ratings. Also Mary the housekeeper made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our wonderful stay. PERFECT

We had a wonderful time in Barbados! The SummerHouse was fantastic and perfect for our family! Mary was wonderful as well. The house was extremely clean and kept up nicely - it really felt like home for the week :)

The Summer House is located in the prestigious community of Sugar Hill, just minutes away from Holetown and the Beach. The home itself is very spacious, well constructed and very well outfitted with all the comforts of home. Mary did a great job staying on top of the cleaning and laundry and was very pleasant and kind to our family. It was nice having a dedicated full bathroom for each of the three bedrooms and the air conditioning made it very comfortable for sleeping. The common area pools, fitness and tennis courts were all in top notch shape and were very accessible to us during our stay. The food at Carizma (on site) was fantastic and all of the staff and servers were fun, upbeat and made us feel welcome. Holetown also has some fantastic restaurants (Fusion, Surfside and Zaccio's to name a few) and Carizma has another location there that serves a great breakfast in a quaint setting. It was nice having a full grocery store just minutes away and there are two banks in town (RBC & Scotiabank) as well. The Fairmont Royal Pavilion Beach Club is a great place to spend a day on the beach and have access to SUP's and Kayaks and even has a nice restaurant and outdoor bar with TV's to keep up on the golf! Ryan and Keelu were super nice and looked after helping us book a fishing charter and were great entertaining our two teenage boys. If you get the chance, you should also take a drive out to the south side of Speightstown...there is a very quiet and enjoyable beach there and a fabulous restaurant called Hugo's. This was our first trip to Barbados and The Summer House was the perfect way to experience it. We will most certainly be back! Thanks for such an enjoyable experience!

The house was wonderful and more than lived up to our expectations. The rooms were spacious and airy.We loved sitting and having breakfast on the upstairs verandah with the lovely view down to the water. We enjoyed time at the clubhouse with it's great infinity pool and the nearby beach area was beautiful. Mary the housekeeper kept everything so clean neat and tidy. Our cook Jean made delicious dinners.

We had a fantastic stay at Sugar Hills, apartment was gorgeous with great outside space. Highly recommended!

The summer house was the perfect venue for our holiday. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. Having the tennis courts just a short walk away was a great added bonus. Paul and the team were extremely welcoming and accommodating and I would highly recommend the villa for anyone wanting a relaxing break.

We stayed at The Summerhouse for 12 nights in Jan/Feb 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The main house has 3 bedrooms of which we used 2. There are 2 spacious bedrooms on the ground floor each with an ensuite and a slightly smaller double bedroom on the 1st floor again with an ensuite The 1st floor terrace is a great spot for breakfast and also sunsets with a great view over the trees to the Caribbean. The plunge pool is also a brilliant spot to cool down with a rum punch after a day at the beach Carizma restaurant and the clubhouse with its infinity pool are approx. 3 mins walk away and we enjoyed many a day and evening there. The beach club membership at the Fairmont was a great bonus and is approx. a 5 min drive down the hill. To summarise The Summerhouse is a lovely spacious villa for a large family or 3 couples (4 if you rent the cottage) in a great location near the best spots on the island.
