We loved this property and were very happy with our stay at Rainbow Hale. The property managers were super easy to work with and helpful. The house is well appointed and spacious. Kaanapali is very accessible, just a 5 min drive down the hill, but we appreciated being able to remove ourselves from the busy-ness of that area coming back to the house. At this time of year, the pool was not useable for us - way too cold, which was the only disappointment - not their fault, just not warm enough this time of year. Even my 3 children who are typically less bothered by cold water wouldn't go in. Fortunately we could use the spa part of the pool. We inquired w/ the property managers about turning on the heater and they said it was very expensive, which was understandable. I am assuming it is the same for all other homes at this time of year...just something to keep in mind, it's not hot enough this time of year I guess for non-heated pools. But it is a lovely property and we were very happy with our stay overall.

Luxurious Amazing Home. This property is beyond words , quite secluded stunning view with all the amenities you could dream of ,

- Water pressure is low throughout the house, a decent shower cannot be had - Kitchen is infested with cockroaches, quite a health hazard - Pantry cabinets were locked by owner. No access to store food items - Old and chipped dishes as a previous guest mentioned - The kitchen and the whole house need a complete deep cleaning as a previous guest mentioned - Black mold around the bathtub, a point made by a prior guest and obviously not addressed. Another major health hazard - Location- the house is very close to the main road and the first one off the gated entrance to the development which is under active construction. Heavy traffic starts before the sun rises and is very disruptive - TV in the library/den is not working properly. Also, the convertible sofa bed was worn down to the springs. It had to be replaced by an air mattress - Part of the air conditioning was not working for two days in an 80+ degree temperature and high humidity - The property manager, Aloha vacation Rentals proved to be inept, rude and accusatory Full Disclosure - we are currently in dispute with the rental company, as they are withholding our deposit based upon bogus claims. We will not pay any additional money for something we did not do, and moreover, we refuse to allow and condone such unsavory business practices. Caveat Emptor.

The location was private and easy to get to many attractions. The home was well stocked. They provided games, paper towels, towels, hand soap, dish soap. We also really appreciated the beach towels, coolers, and chairs. I would have like to have some more general cleaning supplies in the home for use as well. The home is beautiful and so is the scenery all around the property. I would recommend a very deep clean though. It was generally clean overall, but a lot of the dishes were dirty and there were some cobwebs. The one shower has some pink mold on the stone and the shower head had little water pressure. The appliances could use a good scrubbing. Again, it was acceptable, just time for some routine deep cleaning expected with a rental home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home and made very special memories. The children loved the pool. It did not need to be heated during our stay in July. We enjoyed a massage on the Lanai. The outdoor kitchen and grill was clean and worked great. Almost daily we witnessed rainbows and beautiful sunsets. We feel so lucky and blessed to have been give. The opportunity to stay in the home. We will remember our stay for all our lives.

This property was better than advertised! It is a beautiful home that provided more than expected and made out 40th anniversary trip more memorable than we could have hoped. If we every have the chance to visit Maui again, we would be honored to stay here again.

This property is better than the pictures and is in a super quiet, peaceful neighborhood. In minutes you can pop down to the restaurants, shopping, and activities of Kaanaplai and then when you are done, head back to the where it's a little slice of heaven. The property is well stocked with everything you need. Everything from booking to checkin were top notch! Would definitly stay here again

Fantastic property that is even more beautiful than the pictures! Perfect for our family- hubby and me, 2 kids and their significant others and our grandsons- 3 1/2 and 6 months. Terrific location! House has anything you could ever want. Property manager immediately responded when contacted. We were greeted at check in and given a tour of the property and instructions on how everything worked. A big spurge but worth every penny!!

Stayed for the week and we enjoyed the views from the pool and back porch, the privacy and quiet neighborhood and location of the property. We enjoyed how the house had everything we needed for the pool, beach and cooking. We would definitely recommend to all families first or multiple visits to Maui. We will be back to this property in the future.

The property is in the perfect location, away from all the tourists areas, but less than a five minute drive to the big beaches. The kids loved the pool time. I suggest paying to have the pool heated. The house is in great feels brand new.The hosts were especially accommodating. We arrived late at night and there was a low battery in the alarm system causing the system to beep. They sent manager over at midnight to fix the problem. On our checkout day, I messed up the safe and they had a locksmith there within an hour to remedy the problem. Absolutely first class service from the hosts. I highly recommend staying at the Rainbow Hale Estate. We plan to return!

An absolutely wonderful home and location, would certainly be our first choice when we find ourselves in Maui again. It was perfect for our family of 4, my wife and I and 2 teenagers (their own rooms with full baths were ideal for us.) Great amenities throughout the home, in particularly it was great to have access to various floats/toys for the pool as well as beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler - we've found these not consistently offered at other homes. Located on a hill with clear views of the water and Molokai, the views in all directions are amazing, out the front of the house (facing away from the beach) we saw several rainbows throughout the trip. Secluded and quiet, but just a few minutes drive from the beaches and shopping in Kaanapali, 10-15 minute drive to Lahaina. Again, just a wonderful place, we had a great stay!

Pictures do not do this property justice! The house was absolutely spotless, located in a great neighborhood which made for beautiful morning walks, and the pool and hot tub were perfect. The location was also great. Exactly what my family was looking for!
