The cabin was everything we hoped for. It made our Christmas trip a success being able to make cookies with granddaughters, play games in front of the fire, great location, plenty of room to accommodate everyone comfortably.

The property was perfect for my family-close to Winter Park and easy to come and go. The downstairs twin beds were great for the kids !!

Property exactly as depicted or even better. We loved staying there and loved the beautiful back view.

We enjoyed the house, lots of room and beds. Overall experience was fantastic.

The inside was very clean and in great shape and comfortable but the front porch and deck were covered in cobwebs and pine needles. We swept down all the cobwebs and the pine needles off the front deck and it looked much better. Our overall stay was wonderful. The property manager went out of his way to help us with an issue that had nothing to do with our stay or the property. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Totally recommend it to others.

We loved the Texas House, perfect for our family of six. The house has all the comforts and amenities of home and a kitchen with all the tools you need. I definitely recommend this house for a nice vacation in the mountains of New Mexico.

We've stayed at quite a few different cabins in Ruidoso over the last few years and this is hands down our favorite cabin so far. Next time we come up I will look to try and stay in this cabin again. Very comfortable and reasonably priced.

Love the texas cabin feel.

My family stayed at he Texas House for Christmas and had an amazing week. The house is super comfortable and slept the 8 of us perfectly! The kitchen is well stocked and easy to prepare meals in. The large dining table and comfortable living area was great for eating and relaxing. The house is conveniently located near Ski Run Road and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace (wood was included!) after a long day of skiing. One morning, a group of 12 elk came through the clearing right next to the house! We will continue to. Ok and stay at the Texas House for our trips to Ruidoso/Alto. The house is clean, well stocked, conveniently located, accommodates our larger group, and feels like home. The owner is super great to work with and very accommodating! Thank you!

Nice place to host a small family reunion. Enjoyed the deck and cool evenings in Ruidoso.

There was 4 couples in our party. We enjoyed the stay very much. Mark was a great to deal with. Golf in the area was really good!! We feed deer cookies in the front yard. A 6 point buck even ate a cookie out of our hand.

We had so much fun..we were in town for softball tournaments , love the balconys for each bedroom...4 adult couples and had enough room and space...I would definitely want to stay here again...and they have Everything u need! Thank Mark & family for sharing your cabin with us
