This house is by far our favorite house in Lake Arrowhead. The view is incredible, the house is clean and full of everything you may need and the location is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood that is very dog friendly. On top of all that, Marylin the host is incredibly accommodating and responsive. This is our second stay here and we are planning on coming back soon!

Beautiful lake view cabin 10+

What a beautiful home with an amazing view of Lake Arrowhead from every corner of the property! Waking up to this view in the morning was worth the trip alone. The neighborhood is serene and the home itself couldn't have been cozier. The host generously provided some essential pet supplies and a thoughtful s'more kit for the great firepit on the balcony overlooking the water. We had plenty of room in the kitchen for meal preparation. The town is beautiful as well. We will definitely be bookmarking this property for future visits. Terrific cabin with an unreal lake view! Marilyn is a wonderful host, definitely recommend this place and will return. Loved the high-quality goose down duvets! The surrounding neighborhood is peaceful and lovely.

We've stayed in Arrowhead many times, but we've never stayed in a home with a view this beautiful! The many windows highlight the awesome view of the lake, and with both snow and sunny days, we were lucky to experience it all. The bird feeder on the deck is well visited, so that's fun to gaze at too. The house is cozy and the bedrooms are all good sized with comfy beds. Being able to have our dogs join us at this pet-friendly property was the icing on the cake! Great hospitality (with treats for us and the dogs too) and a great property all around!

This property was exactly what we were wanting (6 adults and two dogs) to get away for a couple days and just unwind. Lovely view, the house was very homey, and we loved the gas burning fireplace and fire pit. We tinkered around on the piano and busted out a puzzle to work on together. Marilyn provided us with hot cocoa and supplies for s'mores, which we used every eve!! She even accomodated our request for the down bedding to be removed (as we are allergic). We had no issues while we were there, my only recommendation would be it'd be nice to have blinds on the living room windows, as the sun shining through the windows mid day made it very hard to work on our coffee table puzzle!!! So bright!! But I understand not wanting to jeopardize that view.

Great cozy home with a breathtaking view.

The cabin was the perfect place for the five of us to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday. The views from the deck were spectacular. The cabin had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Marilyn was so helpful and accommodating.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway! Beautiful, clean and spacious lake view home in a quiet, serene neighborhood. The hosts thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! The view was awesome! Loved watching the variety of birds visiting the bird feeder on the back deck and the outdoor space in general. Appreciated the snacks provided for our stay! Can't say enough about this place, highly recommend! Looking forward to another stay!

Great amenities

Great cabin with nice view of the lake. The ad said washer & dryer, but there is not one. Other than that, the place was quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and one of the best cabins we've ever stated in. Saturday night we had drinks on the back patio with the fire pit going, and were listening to a live band from across the lake that was playing 80s music. Brought back a few memories while relaxing. Definitely recommend this cabin and we'll be back!

We booked Marilyn’s lovely cabin for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my milestone birthday and a daughter’s birthday as well. We had a group of four plus two pups, while another daughter and her husband stayed at another cabin nearby. The cabin was as pictured with a stunning view of the lake from the large livingroom picture window. The deck was spacious, bug-free and quiet, well-appointed with a bbq grill, fire pit for s’mores and plenty of seating. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, while the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The cabin is an easy 10-15 min drive to supermarkets, shops and restaurants (thumbs up to Spade and Spatula and Jetty’s) and to good hiking trails. We hiked Will Abell Memorial Trail twice with pups during a heatwave and were happy that much of the trail is covered overhead by a canopy of trees. We took Marilyn’s advice and brought four bedsheets to cover her sofas and chairs to save them from dog fur. We cleaned as best we could because I appreciate any owner willing to rent out to families with pets. (Dogs deserve vacations too!) The wifi was robust, the AC powerful and water pressure better than home! A wonderful stay.

Our 4th or 5th time here and have already booked for next year. Very well appointed with comfortable furniture, bedding and well stocked kirchen. The view from the deck is unbeatable!

Great vacation getaway.

This time it was me and my sister, plus my best friend for 50 years plus her sister. As usual, the place was perfect and what a great host! Everything you may need or want right at your fingertips. The lake view is beautiful and the house has an excellent floor plan that allows you to enjoy every bit of it. Especially love the fire pit on the deck. Oh and the birds too. We'll be back again and again and again! Love this property.

The house is very clean. There is an amazing view of the lake with nice patio furniture to enjoy and relax in. The piano was a nice touch. Our family had a great time spending our weekend here.

Our Fall return to this property was just fabulous. The location and view is the best!!! Everything is perfect in the home and the host so accommodating and available. There isn't a thing you may want or need that she doesn't have at your fingertips while there. We will be back every year.

Cozy, comfortable, safe. I never want to leave.

When we stayed in this home last year we fell in love with it and told Marilyn we would be back so when we were planning our annual girls trip again there was no question where we would go. There’s just something about it, the minute you walk in you feel the stress melting away. Three of us spent the week in the home with two large dogs and there was plenty of room. We cooked all of our meals and were once again impressed with kitchen as it had everything you could possibly need. Since our last visit there has been new lighting and ceiling fans installed and once again the quality of the linens is AMAZING! Such a great house to spend a week relaxing, cooking and doing crafts all while looking out the windows at the priceless view of the lake. Oh and don’t worry about your dogs being bored, squirrel TV is on all day!

As soon as I opened the door, the first thing you see is the beautiful, breathtaking view. It was only my husband, my 19 month old, and myself so it was a little bit of pricey stay for 2 and a half, but 100% worth it. Every thing about the space was so thoughtful and intentional. From eco-friendly products, to the bird feeder my toddler had so much fun watching. It was such a perfect stay for us. Host was really communicative/responsive as well. I have a weird thing about germs and pillows, and that anxiety didn’t come up at all.

Our much anticipated trip to Marilyn's cabin did not disappoint. Starting with the beautiful drive through the neighborhood that leads to the cabin, to ample parking, to opening the front door and beginning one of our most relaxing stays. The view really does take your breath away. The cabin is welcoming and well- appointed with attention to detail. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, pillows, linens, and ceiling fans. The kitchen, bathrooms, and home are stocked with things you need (and some you forgot or didn't think you needed). Our family took advantage of the deck, BBQ, fire pit, books, and piano throughout our stay and visited nearby Big Bear, Lake Gregory (guest passes provided), Arrowhead Village and LouEddie's on our last night there (great pizza and atmosphere). Even though we were there for a few days, it felt like home and we hope to return. Thanks again, Marilyn. You're a super host (great communication) with a super home.

We arrived and immediately fell in love with this house! The view was absolutely fantastic! The beds were more comfortable than my own! We had a free concert every night from across the lake and we felt right at home on the deck If we are lucky enough to come again next year this will be our go to! I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the Lakeview Cabin. The view is spectacular, and we enjoyed being out on the deck reading and/or sipping coffee, sitting in the dappled sunlight during the day, and making s'mores over the fire pit in the evenings. We felt incredibly lucky to find available dates, as this was somewhat of a last minute trip for us. We'd had reservations at Lake Tahoe that we had to cancel after finding out that our sweet dog has bone cancer -- we didn't feel like we could board her, and were super grateful to find a one level dog-friendly place in Lake Arrowhead so she could join us. She enjoyed lounging on the deck in the sunshine as well. The bird feeder was fun to watch, and we were able to add a couple of new birds to our list. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and we were grateful for the air conditioning as well. Honestly, we really enjoyed our stay, and hope to return again soon.
