The rental was just as described. The owner was very responsive and wonderful to deal with. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were of a high quality which was great since my husband and I both have back and leg issues. Our granddaughter and son had to fly in on Saturday. There was a very nice airport an hour away, Albert Ellis. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation spot.

This half-house was very comfortable, within steps from the beach. It was a quiet spot with a beautiful view of the ocean. My family of 7 visited the aquarium nearby, spent one day at the waterpark, and also visited Fort Macon State Park while enjoying our week in Emerald Isle, NC. It is a perfect spot if you are planning on enjoying the ocean view and not venturing out or if you want to do both by visiting the sites close by.

My family of 3 stayed here for over a week and we loved it! The location is absolutely amazing and the house was the perfect size for myself, my husband and our 2.5 year-old son. We enjoyed hanging out inside the house as well as sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful views. We had an amazing trip and Alan was a wonderful host- went above and beyond to communicate and so friendly. Thank you for such an amazing stay at your beautiful home!

Such a beautiful location on the beach! House was generally small, each room was tight. I wouldn't recommend more than 4 adults and one or two children here. All of the kitchen cabinets were filled so there was no place to put our food and groceries. Which made it seem even smaller. The house was very clean, however the bathtub scratches made it seem a little dirty. Overall I really shouldn't say anything negative because the location was so perfect.

The property was as advertised. Our disappointment was the lack of cleanliness. The condo really needed a deep cleaning as there was dirt behind the furniture and on the baseboards. The location is good.

We had a fantastic stay. The owners and property manager were great with communication from the time we booked the trip until we left. Great location and great people!! The house was just right for our group of two adults and two teenagers-loved every minute.

The location was excellent. The furniture was very good. There were a lot of chairs, umbrellas, and toys for the kids. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck was excellent, and it was a short distance right to the beach. The beach at this location is very wide, and has lots of shells for picking. Negative issues: The living room sliding door leaks and we often had a wet floor. The locks on the sliding glass doors were rusted away. The cabinets were old and poor, an there was no storage space for groceries. The counter-top was terrible, with a split at the L turn and bad repairs on the front face. I felt I paid more than the overall quality of the unit warranted.

I had a wonderful 2-week stay with my husband and my 3 year old. My in-laws came to stay for a few nights and there was plenty of room for all of us. They slept upstairs and it was great that they had their own private bathroom. The home was clean, clutter free, and had everything we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs to use and we loved walking down the deck to the beautiful beach multiple times a day. The town is very nice and there are many restaurants/ice cream within a short drive. The highlights of our trip were the pine knolls aquarium and taking the ferry from Beaufort to Shackleford island. Thanks again for a great stay!

Giving an overall five stars for the wonderful week we enjoyed at Beach House East! Property manager Jerry and homeowner Allen went above and beyond before and during our stay. We have rented up and down the NC coast for several summers and have never had such attentive customer service! The location is awesome. Right on the beach with privacy beach access in an uncrowded area of EI even during a holiday weekend / week. The outside of the property is very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The outdoor shower and fully stocked closet with beach gear were a great bonus! We also enjoyed the large back deck for morning coffee, lunches, and dinners with a gorgeous and private ocean view! Inside, the rooms are a little small, but not cramped. It is decorated nicely with some upgrades / renovations in the bathrooms and flooring. The new mattresses are wonderfully comfortable. The kitchen is a bit dated but is a good size and well stocked. There is some wear and tear throughout but overall, we were pleased. The housekeeping was adequate. It was relatively clean when we arrived and by no means horribly dirty, but we would not give it five stars. It being a holiday weekend perhaps the cleaners were just terribly busy period it would not deter us from staying there again at all. We were overall incredibly pleased with our time in this rental and would definitely recommend it as well as Emerald Isle! Thank you Alan & Jerry - your care for your guests really shows!

So much to do and see. One week stay was so comfortable, we could of stayed for another week. Alan is very attentive to our needs. He assured that everything met our expectations upon our arrival. We used the charcoal grill and beach chairs. Thank you for a much needed vacation. FROM ILLINOIS AND WORTH THE DRIVE.

We just returned from spending a wonderful week at this very comfortable and clean beachfront property. Loved that we could just walk right out the slider and enjoy the spacious deck and just another few steps to the beach. Beach has just been replenished and is wide and beautiful. This property is very well maintained. We had the privilege of meeting the owners who were friendly and kind and went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We’ve already booked again for next year! You should, too-you won’t be disappointed!

This is a great place. The owner and manager did a great job communicating and making sure that we had everything we needed. The place itself is clean and well-maintained. The living area is small, but worked fine for our family of 6 that was there. The best part is the location—it is right on the beach with walkout access and views from two bedrooms and the main living area. We saw dolphins at play several times. Kids could run to and from the house easily when they played. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the cable and it was addressed same day. Very close to the water. We watched dolphins swim by every single day. Would definitely stay there again!

This has to be one of our best experiences renting a beach house. The owner and manager have thought of everything! Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys for kids, a grill, and the kitchen has all the cookware you could need. Blender for margaritas? It's here. Jerry the property manager is so friendly and a great resource. The mattresses are new and quite comfortable. There is a lovely deck and outdoor shower that is so crucial for washing off sandy kids.The area is safe and quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves for several hours daily. I strongly recommend this vacation rental!
