Belitza was a wonderful property. Great location and the path to the beach was really key for us and the kids. We loved the decor and Gabby and Rick who manage the property were very on top of any issues. Overall we loved the house but it is really 3 separate apartments vs. a single house and it feels like that. For example there are 2 kitchens and no living room or TV's. We did not mind the fact that there were no TV's though. It was nice. There is no front door because each room has a separate entrance. It is just something to be aware of if you have smaller children because you need to lock all the different doors at night and you can't go between the rooms once the alarm is on.

Amazing vacation

Villa Belitza was exactly what we were hoping for! A gorgeous home, plenty of space for our party of 9 - property was stunning as well! A quick walk to the beach and close proximity to stores, mini market, and various restaurants. Grace, the property manager was above and beyond our expectations. She arranged for airport transfers, ATV tours, ziplining, private chef meals and more! I cannot state enough how helpful she was! I’d highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of trekking into the jungle! Thank you to everyone in the beach management team who helped make this trip memorable! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Belitza! It was perfect for our group of friends who were in Costa Rica for a wedding. We all had lots of space to spread out with separate rooms and bathrooms. We will definitely be back!

I have been to Playa Guiones many times. This is a great place in one of the best spots in town. Place is nice and spread out so everyone has enough room to get away if need be…

This is a magical property, located very close to the beach in Nosara. (The house had a secluded pathway off the pool that drops you right on a pristine beach.) House is well stocked, nicely furnished. Good outdoor space. This is good for families to share as there are distinct separate spaces so that you can be together but also have private space for each family. Grace the property manager was incredibly attentive and responsive -- always available, always quick to help. The chef she reccomended was brilliant. This is a great house.

Plenty of space for two families. We rented two five seater Honda quads from iQuad which was clutch. The roads are too rough for anything else if you want to get around easily. Great waves, great vacation. Would be nice if the owner had some surfboards/boogie boards available for use (they are quite expensive to rent). Thanks for the memories!

The property is beautiful and perfectly located. We had 4 couples stay here for a week and it is perfectly set up for a large family or large group. The bedrooms are set apart from each other for privacy. Each of them are large and comfortable with their own bathrooms. The two kitchens were nice so you could spread out if need be but the best part of the house is the pool area! We spent most of the time outside by the pool enjoying ourselves. Plenty of room in the pool for all of us. Having our own trail to the beach is almost un heard of there so we were lucky to have our own cool little path to head out to the beach. The location is totally walkable to several restaurants which was super convenient also. Heidi was our chef our first night and it was amazing! Highly suggest setting that up before you go. Grace and her crew were very attentive and available to answer any questions we had. You cannot go wrong picking this place when you visit Costa Rica, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your property!!

This the best house in Nosara we have stayed in, this is our 4th time to this amazing town. We will be back! It is the perfect location, the best property management, & best for a group. We were 3 families and it worked seamlessly for us. The grounds are well cared for, the pool very clean, the décor is fabulous and the house has everything you need. I highly recommend having someone cook for you while you stay. We enjoyed yoga, surf, local restaurants, ATV riding and loads of other adventures. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a central location in Nosara. Pura Vida! Cheers til next time.

The home is beautiful inside and out and so very well-appointed. It was so comfortable and such an oasis that it was almost hard to leave to experience all the surrounding opportunities. The local contact Grace was incredibly helpful and responsive to all of our questions and needs. It met or exceeded all expectations.

Beautiful compound style house. Access to beach and outdoor barbecue amazing. Love the furnishings and decor and everything updated. Perfect for larger group with private space to retreat to and great common areas to share. Walk to BeachDog and Olas Verdes for a bite too!

Just as described on the listing ! WE had a super great time at this property . Everything is easy ...surf in your backyard , café and restaurants nearby , spacious and clean house , nice pool and backyard , ...and everyday sunset at one minute walk . Our two families of 4 and one grandmother had a fantastic stay at this wonderful property in Nosara! The house is spacious, extremely clean, the bathrooms are updated and it has separate air conditioning in each of the rooms. The outdoor space is remarkable! The pool is cleaned often and is just the right temperature to cool off. There is a long table where we spent many hours congregated around either playing cards or eating a delicious meal cooked by Graciela (highly, HIGHLY recommend her). There is shade and sun spots in this space and a very convenient and necessary outdoor shower. The plants surrounding the place are vibrant and beautiful and attract lots of interesting local birds and animals. We saw the biggest iguana we have ever seen right at the pool! You don't need to go on any nature tours as the nature surrounds you at this place! The path to the beach is also a nature lover's paradise. It is a simple walk through the jungle to an incredible beach! If you come to Nosara, plan on taking surf lessons as the waves are just right for beginners and experts to surf. We took lessons from Coconut Harry's and were really pleased with the lessons. Luz is a wonderful resource of information and help! Be sure to contact her with any questions ahead of time as she really is super helpful and informative. For instance, she recommended that we make reservations ahead of time with Miss Skye's zipline. This ziplining is one of the longest in the world and amazing. Some of us in the group were nervous about going as we had never ziplined before. The instructors at Miss Skye were so friendly and helpful! They worked with the novices to make them feel comfortable and encouraged those who had done it before to experiment. It was a highlight of our trip! Another highlight was taking yoga classes at the Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort. This resort is breathtaking - your yoga practice is set in the trees! They also have the best juice bar on the island! We rented golf carts from Monkey Quads for the week and that is all we needed. It was a bit dusty as we were there in the dry season, but it was super fun riding around in them! Didn't want to get back into a car after that. I can't recommend this place any more! It is absolutely perfect for a group traveling together! Thank you Luz, Graciela, Rick for an amazing trip!

The knowledge that Luz had in introducing us to the property The first night being wakened by the holler monkeys. The care and attention given to the design and interior/exterior furnishings of this incredible home. For Jessica, the best cook ever plus her ability to be flexible! Thank you Jessica! This is an amazing property! We traveled with 3 families- 6 adults and 7 kids. The location is perfect. It’s a 3 minute walk through a beautiful jungle path to the beach. You can also walk to town with restaurants and shops in 5 minutes. The aesthetics of the house and grounds are superb. There is a fabulous outdoor living space that surrounds the cute pool. We ended each beach trip with a refreshing dip in the pool. There is plenty of sleeping space but the 3 spaces are very distinct, which is fine for adults, but more of a challenge with younger kids sleeping separately from their parents. The house feels very secure, and every space is lockable, yet easy to use with many people because everything is keyless. There is an alarm on the house. There is a responsive team— the house manager and facilities person— if there are any issues. We needed to see a doctor and the house manager texted us back immediately with a great recommendation.

The location of the house could not be beat as it was just a 2-minute walk on a private path through the jungle to get to the amazing beach. Especially at low tide the beach was shallow for hundreds of yards so great for swimming also! We had a group of 12 including four children and it worked out great as the house has 3 self contained units, which gives folks a little privacy. Everything in the house worked well and it was a short walk to a surf school and a few restaurants and other shops (even a medical clinic). I would definitely stay at this house again.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 8 (6 young adults ages 18 to 25, 3 of them our kids and their boyfriend and girlfriends). We were celebrating our 3 kids graduations, high school, college and graduate school. The house met our needs on all levels from cleanliness, security (alarm, locked gated and security guard patrolling the exterior house every night from 5 to 10 pm), property management, number bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is laid out in a way where there was plenty of privacy for all with the common backyard area with pool, hammocks, cabanas, couches, dining room table to meet up. The kitchens indoors and out were great. We cooked 2 meals at home. One being the tuna we caught fishing earlier in day. The walk out the back gate to the amazing beach was the best part. The kid came and went all day and absolutely loved the surfing. We rented golf carts from Limo Dan as well as the airport transfers which made getting around the town so easy. We also did some amazing stuff in Costa Rica: zip lining, ATV tour of the juggle and waterfall, fishing. Bohde Yoga and hiking! Monkeys everywhere and nicely waking us up most mornings. No TVs in the house fit with the overall vibe of our trip which was simple, easy, laid back and family. Tons of quality time to be had in this paradise. Only challenge is getting there from the airport. 2.5 hours with last 45 minutes on a dirt pothole road. I would so recommend this property and it was a trip of a lifetime for my family, especially with my kids to soon be moving on to the next chapters of their lives. A trip I will never forget!!

Palatial communal living at its best. Finding this little slice of heaven just made our worlds a much better place. Steps from the beach through a canopy trail (primitive with wooden bridge that would be difficult for strollers, walkers or elderly). The house is split up into 3 separate living areas that can accommodate three families. Private pool makes for a great after beach chill out. Dreamy hammock makes for quiet afternoon naps or fun late night Karaoke and girl talks. Tons of outdoor living space. The house manager Luz is an angel. She helped us with everything from reservations, to grocery shopping to communication with the locals. She is a friend for life. Our private chefs, Grisiela and Ronald, cooked the most amazing meals that provided leftovers for days. “Downtown” is a short walk or golf cart ride away. Common practice here is NOT flushing toilet paper, but instead you throw it in the trash can. Definitely odd at first but quickly adjusted and appreciated the eco-friendly practice. Do not get overwhelmed by the shuttle drive here. It is 3 hours long and a bit bumpy and dusty for the last 30-45 minutes. But well worth it!!! The dusty roads are deliberate to maintain this quaint oasis and to deter over development. Definitely keep house/gate locked when away or asleep. We had a private guard every evening for added security. We had NO ISSUE with theft but know that it is an issue here. The only intruders to our yard were lizards, iguanas, stray dogs and cats and a family of “raccoons”. No alarm clock needed, the howler monkeys will get you up bright and early. Was not a problem as we were able to get an early start to the day. All 3 families agree, we will DEFINITELY be coming back. ❤️❤️

My family loved being outside around the gorgeous table which seated all 12 of us, enjoying the pool and tiki hut. There was plenty of space for privacy and quiet sleeping. We saw monkeys and beautiful birds right on the property. The path through the native plants to the beach was enchanting, and the beach is truly stunning. Minor problems with the house were handled promptly and cheerfully by the management staff. We hired a cook they suggested for a fabulous Costa Rican dinner. Such a wonderful stay! True bliss!!

Our group had a sublime time in Playa Guiones! Best surfing trip! Access to the beach is prime location. We rented golf carts but you could easily enjoy walking under the palm canopy to get around (quite easily). Our trip was sealed with perfection by the tranquility of the house. No detail was sacrificed, the house was stunning (decor clean and modern), rooms offered privacy for a large group, welcome areas were perfectly situated and sat everyone comfortably. I must say that above all- the communication with the host and property management really made the trip special. Luz with Beach Management was available for us and patiently answered any question that popped up. I had to end the trip early due to a family emergency and get back to the states, Luz coordinated everything to get me back to the airport. She also remained extra attentive to take care of the group in my absence. I really can't recommend the Beach Management team enough... or how magical this venue is! If you are weighing different housing options for your Playa Guiones visit, look no further. Book this property now!

We were three families (six adults, five children) who stayed at the Villa Belitza over the Christmas and New Years holidays and can't say enough good things about the property, or about Playa Guiones and the people there in general! The location is great and the layout for larger groups is one of the best I've stayed at, allowing just enough privacy for everyone. In reality we all mainly lived in the long porch common space, which had enough lounge spaces to relax and read a book or nap in a hammock, or to gather everyone for meals around the large wood table. The house was clean and in excellent condition, the grounds and pool were nicely tended, and we loved getting to know the wildlife (monkeys, iguanas, pizotes, birds, crabs) who live around the property. The path to the beach was probably one of the most fantastic aspects of the property - it was unbeatable to be able to run down and get out for an early morning surf and be able to see the sunset every night. A full moon and high tide at New Years eve made the beach a truly magical place. Eduardo was very helpful any time we needed something, and helped us arrange taxis, dinner reservations, maid, cook, security guard, and occasional babysitter. We had a wonderful cook who came once every three days and made truly delicious meals, including a Christmas feast. It was worth every penny, and often meant we had leftovers for at least a day, and then could try some of the local restaurants on the other days - which especially fun when there is live music. The kids went about half the days to the day camp at the Harbor Reef Hotel around the corner and absolutely loved it; the rest of the time they pretty much lived in the pool or at the beach. Playa Guiones is a great place to learn to surf - we surfed with Agua Tibia, who were super nice and great instructors, and we also rented a couple of boards so that we could go out and practice whenever we wanted. There are also a couple of yoga studios within walking distance from the house, which had excellent classes in beautiful jungle settings. All in all, it was an incredible two weeks, and as we shovel snow back home all we can think about is when we can go back!

Thank you for sharing your home in Paradise with our Family. The layout of the homes/casitas worked perfectly for our Family. We truly enjoyed the backyard/pool/summer kitchen. The home was clean. The furniture and bedding were ample. Outdoor space was great. One note, make sure to bring in everything when you leave the premises and every night. Make sure to lock the units and place your valuables in a safe. Unfortunately we had all "adult clothing, shoes, sandals , a wetsuit, and a pair of Rx sunglasses stolen one night. These were things left on the back living space. They did not take any of the children's things. The property manager when notified had a security person check on the property.

We just returned from a 10 day stay at Villa Belitza and can not say enough great things! My husband and I traveled with four other couples - we are in our late twenties and wanted to head somewhere that allowed some privacy but mostly easy access to activities and the town. Villa Belitza was clean, updated, and in a great spot. It is easy enough to walk into town, but our group rented golf carts and those helped us get ALL over the place- including the grocery stores that were about 2 miles away. There are a ton of great restaurants (Il Basilico, 10Pies, Beach Dog) that are an easy golf cart away and many shops. The beach is a quick 2-3 minute walk and is beautiful, uncrowded, and had great waves for surfing. Eduardo was the property manager we worked the most closely with and he was awesome. He was very attentive and was happy to arrange restaurant reservations, ziplining tour, ATV tour, chefs to cook dinner for us, and even recommend a doctor when my husband had a surfing injury that required stitches. He went above and beyond to let us know about local live music that he thought we would enjoy or to let us know about sea turtle hatchings in case we were interested. I can't say enough good things about the property management! There was a little delay in their email response leading up to the trip but I think that is part due to the renovations that were taking place and partially due to "island time." Just like any tropical spot, the country kind of moves at their own speed. Isn't that why it is where we go to relax, though? We utilized the pool, outdoor table, and kitchens often as we did many of our meals at the house. It was great for a big group. Shortly before arrival, the owners renovated the outdoor bar and grill and it looks phenomenal. There are all the amenities needed for an outdoor kitchen. Our only comment is that we rented surfboards and it would be awesome to have a place to secure them outside so that we didn't have to store them in the house every night. The security at the house was good. There is an alarm system that we would set in the evening when we went out for dinner and combination locks on all doors and gates. These were easy to use and we only managed to set the alarms off once. Overall, we never felt threatened at all and Nosara seemed like a very safe place. We will absolutely be back!
