We have booked Honua Kai through kbm Hawaii three times now and always enjoy a top notch vacation!

This was our 3rd time staying at Honua Kai and this was our favorite unit thus far! Perfect location with easy access to pool and lobby/Whaler’s Market. Almost never used the front door (no elevators or long hallways!) Unit was spacious, clean and comfortable.

We all loved this property! It was tropical, relaxing, fun, clean, quiet, convenient and spacious! It had everything we were hoping for and more. We would all be absolutely thrilled to return again!

This condo was amazing! Perfect location with easy in and out access, no waiting for elevators. The separation of the two bedroom suites makes it perfect for two adult couples. The lanai is spacious and private, perfect for morning breakfast and evening cocktails. Would definitely stay here again.

Our staycation was fantastic! With the Covid pandemic and the island opening up to tourists we specifically chose this unit because of its size and location (ground floor-minimal use of elevator). The unit was exactly as stated in the advertisement (clean, spacious, great appliances, etc) and yet so much more. Our little one loved the open lanai area where she could play, eat if she preferred to eat outside, and come and go to the pools easily. With so much space in and outside of the unit, she never felt cramped (another goal achieved). The high ceilings definitely added to the beauty, comfort, and uniqueness of the unit. The beds were so comfortable and we got the much needed rest and relaxation from our daily lives. When we needed to communicate with KBM they responded in a timely matter and took care of any concerns we had. We definitely would stay here again. Thank you KBM Hawaii!

This is our second time staying at Honua Kai and just like the first time it was hard to leave! This unit on the ground floor made it easy for our family to come and go with ease, but yet all the foliage gave you a sense of privacy as well. The gym and store are just steps away. KBM was great and even after our stay ended , they helped us find an important piece of property and mailed it back to us! Pools never felt too crowded even during spring break and the kids loved that the beach was right there.

As I'm planning my next getaway to Maui, I realized I never left a review for this place! We loved it so much we are looking at booking here again. Great for families. Tons of natural light, and the lanai was so nice. The place was very clean. Very close to the lobby, but no loud noises from it. Just around the corner from this condo is the resort market. The kitchen had everything we needed. Cant wait to come back!

Honua Kai never disappoints ! The condo was amazingly clean and spacious with all the necessities. Check-in was smooth as well as our departure. Having a ground level condo was very convenient for us. My family and I would definitely stay at Honua Kai 113 again.

Renting through KBM Hawaii was excellent experience! Would definitely use them again

This unit was perfect for our family. We specifically chose a ground floor unit which was so convenient with all the coming and going we did. The ONLY thing I would say is that our unit was difficult to locate initially. No one escorted us there and we ended up wandering around for quite a while trying to find it. There was no signage indicating where the 100 level rooms were. We were lost and ended up going back to the front desk to ask for directions. It did not detract from our overall stay and we would go back in a heartbeat!

I was disappointed to find that the unit does NOT have ocean views, and there is no privacy on the patio whatsoever. The room is nice, and KBM did a good welcoming us with a box of Hawaiian chocolates. The bed in the master needs to be replaced, as it has an indentation that makes it feel like sleeping in a hammock (not good, especially if you are a stomach sleeper). Hanua Kai is a decent place, but the spa is a joke. Just splurge and go to the Montage Spa in Kapalua instead. If you are on a budget, just go anywhere else ;)

Honua Kai never disappoints!

This is our second stay in the Honua Kai and again it did not disappoint! Fabulous location and spacious, neat accommodations. Enjoyed every minute of our visit. We will definitely be back again!

We arrived during a tropical storm which played havoc on the experience... our check in went smoothly, the room was very nice. The living room furniture could use an update but was in good condition. The only real disappointment was that no one ever came to spray off our veranda the whole week we were there (we were on the ground floor) so it was difficult not to track mud in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Accommodations were clean, quiet, well equipped and spacious for the price in the area and compared to a hotel suite. I knew it was more of a condo that rents to vacationers so I wasn’t expecting Ritz Carlton level service. I was pleased with the service available and would highly recommend this rentals for families. We comfortably fit 2 adults and 4 teenagers in our condo. Extended lanai was perfect for cool evenings spent sitting outdoors or private sunning or napping during the day. The bellman were super nice but appeared to be understaffed. Minor inconvenience at most. The Konea tower market was well stocked and reasonably priced for the market. Overall, a GREAT vacation!!

This was the best vacation we have ever had. We rented two condos at Honua kai for 6 adults and 3 kids (3,8,10). There are pools for every age and swim ability. Loved the baby pools. Having the full kitchen was a must! The little store to buy butter, limes..all the things you forget at the store was awesome. There is a large grocery store within walking distance. The beach at the property is awesome and the condos provided everything you need! Floaties, towels, cooler, boogie boards. The beds were comfy and lots of space on the patio to gather. Loved the ground level so the kids could come and go. Wish there were more amenities on the condo-shampoos etc. overall, just a perfect set up. Loved the grills by the pool! A very well maintained property that I would recommend to anyone!

Honoa Kai is clearly the nicest property on this stretch of beach and has great pools for kids. With Duke's on property and additional restaurants next door at the Westin, there is no real need to leave. We loved our unit with the semi-private Lanai and the kids loved being able to run right out the door down to the pool.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we absolutely loved it! The condo was beautiful and the amenities wonderful! We chose this condo for its location and amenities - it did not disappoint. We were just down the hall from the lobby, mini-Mart, spa and fitness center. Convenience without the noise. We loved the lanai! It was mostly private but if you're looking for absolute privacy this may not be for you. The few issues we had were mostly operator error (our fault) and KBM was super responsive and fixed it all within a couple hours. (I.e. fan not working & a.c. not working) They even got us in into the room early on our arrival day. Hints from our trip... 1. Wear water shoes! If you want to go in the ocean right in front of the condo be very careful. The rocks are very sharp. Our daughter cut her feet in the first 5 minutes. The surf was a little rough in this location. We ended up driving to Napili Bay. No shoes necessary. Clear, calm water with a sandy bottom. 2. Don't touch the thermostat. That's why the a.c. stopped working. If it's not chilling to your liking, just call them and they'll make it work. 3. Beds were amazing! Id like to find out what kind of mattress was in the master. Best one I've ever slept on! 4. The kitchen is very well equipped! We stopped at Costco after we got our car at the airport and stocked up for the week. We were able to cook all our meals except 2. We ate those at Duke's and The Old Lahaina Luau. Both were excellent and close by! 5. Urgent care is just across the street. I threw my back out while there. They were super great and pretty affordable. 6. Chiropractor is just down the road too. Healing Hands Chiropractic with Dr. Anthony Jayswal was amazing! Was able to get me all fixed up! 7. Times supermarket was across the street too. In case you need more than a few things at the mini Mart. Pharmacy is very good there too. 8. Shopping on Front street was really fun! We highly recommend Honua Kai and would definitely stay here again!!
