We used to live in seal beach and we came here for our kids first week of summer break for a staycation and to show them how special seal Beach is. This house made it even more special. You can't get any closer to the beach , the house is fun, eclectic, very clean and fully stocked with everything you need, especially for the beach. Its a older vintage home so if you bring kids, make sure you bring kids toys for them to play with. Our kids had alot of fun playing on the front porch. The owners are very responsive and if your aren't familiar with seal beach, are very imformative. We hope to come back next year and many more years to come.

My daughter and I celebrated our annual birthday getaway at the Pineapple Bungalow. It was a beautiful place, clean, well-stocked, and within walking distance to the beach and the downtown area. Park your car and forget about traffic for your stay. Loved that. The hosts were exceptional. Elena checked us in and both she and Kye were available if we had questions. Will definitely be back. Our family had a fantastic time staying at this home over Memorial Day weekend. We love the laid back feel of Seal Beach, and having the beach and town within just a short walk was a huge plus for our teenage girls. We definitely plan on coming back. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved the cottage and experience with our host. It felt like we were staying in someone’s home as special guests. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with everything we needed to make an Easter Brunch. Unfortunately, it rained half of our visit but what a perfect place to be cozy indoors, to relax and enjoy some unusual down time. We can’t wait for our next visit to use the beach chairs and other warm weather amenities. Best rental experience !

The property was excellent. The house comfortable clean and adorable. Location was fabulous. Walked to the beach, restaurants and shops. Our only complaint is that the owners checkout process was too early (10:00) and expected us to strip the beds, and start the laundry for the next tenant.. Also, his check-in process was overly long and complicated and done in person. It all felt a bit intrusive and took up our vacation time. However, knowing all of that, I would rent it again, but I would be more prepared for the unusual requirements.

We thoroughly enjoyed Seal Beach, and this impeccable property to enjoy. The house was spotless and the furniture/decor very impressive, cozy. The owners went out of their way to make us feel "at home" and helped us locate ideal restaurants, etc.

This location and house “pineapple bungalow” was absolutely sublime. It was so charming had all the amenities so close to the beach and the hosts were nearby and very accommodating and kind! Our family would absolutely stay there again …clean with all the amenities you can imagine in a darling bungalow.

My youngest attends CSULB and she absolutely loves Seal Beach. This little town is really a nice hidden gem. This was her surprise Birthday Stay at the Beach weekend and I have to tell you I am so happy I found this adorable Pineapple Cottage which was perfect. We would simply walk into town across the Seal Beach Pier to enjoy the restaurants and cute little shops. The house is beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms just made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Kai was a very nice guy that quickly showed us the ropes before he allowed us to enjoy his home at check in. Will definitely want to come again and would have loved to stay much longer. When it came time for us to leave, found out my car batteries died on us, on a Sunday of all days. Kai was so kind to come by so quickly to assist and offer the best places close by to be able to purchase/replace if before our drive back home. Thank you for our wonderful stay! By the way Kudos to Kai for also researching some Hiking ideas close by for my daughter. She was very happy for all the wonderful info. Mahalo nui loa! :) ~Juliette~

The Pineapple Cottage is a perfect weekend getaway in the charming town of Seal Beach. Impeccably decorated with a relaxed South Seas kind of feel. The hosts Kye and Elena are definitely Superhosts, very nice and friendly people. Can't recommend their property highly enough! Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

My father, me, and my uncle flew out to see some extended family in Seal Beach. Stumbled across this vrbo listing and I’m so glad we did! Upon arrival the owner greeted us and showed us around the house. This was very welcoming! Throughout our stay they stayed in communication with us and are just very kind people! So kind we bought them a little well deserved pineapple gift! The house speaks for itself- STUNNING. A quick walk to the beach, 10-15 minute walk to main st and the pier, spacious rooms and rooftop, and so much more! Could have easily spent the entire vacation inside! Will definitely rent here again when we find ourselves back in sunny California! Thank you Elena and Kye for the best vacation spot in town and the best hospitality!

The house was beautiful. Exactly as described. Close to the beach and darling downtown Seal Beach. (The beach is quite dirty though-lots of bottle caps and even a couch cushion in the water-unsure If the recent hurricane dragged some things up?). The house is very clean and has literally everything you could need for a stay away from home. Unfortunately, the owner is something else. He acted like he was doing us a favor by letting us stay there. The in-person check-in process was long and unnecessary after a long day of travel. Could have been communicated by a letter or a video-I’m sure some people like this handholding but I know how to use a roku and operate a double pane window. I believe he was checking on us to make sure we were who we said we were? Because-Saturday night the owner stopped by at 11 at night unannounced. It was incredibly inappropriate. He must have issues with the neighbors because he heard we were being loud. Stopped by (with no text) and let us know we were in fact, not being loud. Then proceeded to text and say he wasn’t mad-what? It made me feel upset and vulnerable to have a visitor who has access to the property come by at 11 pm without notice. Really too bad because the property is beautiful.

We loved this cottage. There was plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. And the house was equipped with just about anything you could need. The beach was just steps away and the owners were very nice. Loved the in person checkin.

This property was fantastic! The house is so cute and well decorated. It is on a beautiful tree lined street and the house is surrounded by lovely plants. We really enjoyed all the little pineapple touches. It was so nice to have sand toys provided as we have 2 toddlers. Everything is within walking distance. The host was very accomodating and responded to needs quickly. We made such wonderful memories! This was our first trip as a family of four and one that we will always cherish.

This was our first time staying in Seal Beach for a weekend. The host met us at the bungalow and was welcoming. He gave us instructions on all the workings of the bungalow. We had a wonderful stay in very quiet neighborhood close to the beach and the house is beautiful with modern amenities. Even though it was short stay, we felt like we were on a relaxing vacation. Would stay here again.

We had an excellent time - the cottage was well-appointed and in a great location, and Elena and Kai were such kind hosts. They arranged for us to be met and oriented to the house and the neighborhood when we arrived (I think they greet their guests but were out of town for family), and the house was just perfect for our needs. Seal Beach is darling, with so many great shops and restaurants within easy walking distance - and the distance to the ocean was pretty perfect. So happy with our choice and would definitely rent here again if ever the opportunity arises.

We stayed for a month in this warm, inviting, well stocked, super comfortable home and loved every minute of it. Kye and Elena were super welcoming and kind to us all month! Great location, we loved walking to the pier and downtown and enjoyed many good restaurants while we were here. We highly recommend this home, property owners, and location!

This meticulously well kept home, inside and out was very comfortable! We felt right at home! We loved the location, so close to Main Street and the beach. The home had everything we needed! The host greeted us upon arrival and gave us great suggestions for restaurants, and other things to do. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly reccomend!

We LOVED the Pineapple Bungalow and would love to have stayed longer. It was the perfect oasis for us on our PCH trip from San Francisco to San Diego. All the comforts of home with the beach right around the corner. Is situated in the cutest little community -- very safe and has the best, most courteous neighbors. Our family of four loved every minute of our time in this beautiful home. Walking distance to downtown with lots of fun shops and restaurants. Right around the corner from the beach. We got in very late on our check in night and Kai was kind enough to wait up for us to let us in and give us the run through of the property. Thank you for an amazing time!

Was a excellent stay. Just out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to it. GPS said 14 miles to Disney. Going thru LA was a pain, but it's LA. You get back and it's relatively Main Street USA. Thanks for sharing your home. Parking could be a little better but it was pretty painless. One bathroom has its issues also. For the price the location and the ambiance I'll be back if I'm ever out that way again. Thanks for a memorable 6 nights and driving to Disney doesn't require driving thru LA. That parts a breeze.

Great location! Less then a block to beach and 4 blocks to the quaintest downtown. Loved the roof top deck and front bistro table for spending time outside. Interior is classic California/Hawaii vibe. Very comfortable for the 3 of us. Loved meeting Kye for the smoothest check-in. He made us feel very welcome and shared lots of activity and restaurant tips. Would rent again!

Super clean property within walking distance to Seal Beach Pier, restaurants and shops. Beach is just minutes away. My brother, sister and I had a very relaxing week.
