Nice little cabin for a weekend mountain trip

Great home base for exploring and skiing. Toas ski valley not too far away and Angel Fire up the road. Echanted Trail a must, especially Red River. Home cozy and comfortable. Could use a king bet but not a big deal with other beds available. Enjoyed wildlife and snow. Affordable too compared to ski resorts. Good value and glad we extended our stay an extra day.

Very clean and well equipped property. Easy to get to and easy to get back to the highway. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Lots of friendly deer visiting each day. Would stay here again.

This cabin is in a great location near Monte Verde Lake. The back deck and outdoor surroundings were perfect for our mountain getaway.

Kathy’s place was the perfect mountain get-away, location is excellent, the house has everything you need as far as kitchen supplies, a grill and a beautiful deck to enjoy the cool breezes and watch deer amble by. I highly recommend it if you’re staying in Angel Fire!

The cabin is in a beautiful neighborhood among the trees and near a small lake. There was plenty of space for the family and my son enjoyed having the loft to himself. The property was clean and well stocked.

It is a nice, comfortable cabin. It was a great place to recover from skiing. Our host was helpful in lining up someone to help us out when I got my Van stuck in the snow.

Winter Family Vacation
Our first ski trip to Angel Fire with our family of 6 and it was great! The house had everything we needed! It was a very easy drive to the slopes and things around town, and the kids loved feeding the deer each day!!

My family and I enjoyed a lovely winter stay. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, beautiful nature all around and no shortage of deer and birds to observe in the mornings and evenings. We got snowed in for a day but loved every minute of it! Kathy and the crew who take care of the home went above and beyond to accommodate us during the snowstorm. We were so grateful for their help. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We got snowed in for a day but loved every minute of it! Kathy and the crew who take care of the home went above and beyond to accommodate us during the snowstorm. We were so grateful for their help. We usually stay in Red River but found this "chalet" in Angel Fire. It was the perfect size within walking distance to a small lake where we enjoyed fishing. Kayaking and paddle boarding were also available. I had a couple of concerns but reached out and got an immediate response. We would definitely recommend this property and can't wait to return.

We stayed for a long weekend that included 2 days of skiing. The house was perfect for our family of 5 because everyone had their own areas to sleep... no sharing! ;) Kitchen had everything we needed. Boys enjoyed playing in the snow out back and we saw deer! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway
This was the perfect getaway for my husband, my kids and me. The house was just the right size for our family of four and is very nicely and comfortably furnished. It's close to hiking trails and the lake, and we were visited each evening by a family of deer. Very clean and relaxing - it was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely mountain getaway spot
This chalet was nestled in a lovely forest area close to the lake and restaurants, shops, etc., but far enough away to be a quiet escape. The large living room windows let in wonderful sunshine and allow you to view local wildlife and the occasional mountain rain shower from the comfort of the sofa or oversized chair. There are other cabins nearby, but all was quiet and peaceful during our stay. Would recommend if you're wanting to getaway from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the mountains.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITES....
Perfect getaway and great accommodations! Everything was represented very well and accurately on the VRBO website. The comfortable house was well equipped with everything we needed. My wife and I very much enjoyed the beauty and surroundings with two of our grandchildren. We all made a special memory together that we will all cherish and remember forever!
