Everything in walking distance.

location was great, close to taverns, stores and of course the beach. neighbors were friendly. Did not see or talk to Ed during my stay.

The home was excellent, small cozy and the perfect size for a short weekend at the beach. Most things you would need were only a short walk away. And the neighborhood is lovely for walking around.

Not just a homey, lovely spacious, convenient cottage… The neighbors were awesome. They were gracious, and they looked out for me as a single woman. I was too short blocks from the 7-Eleven and same with the beach. The private little courtyard was adorable with a table and chairs, and a barbecue that I used with my son to make hot dogs. There’s also a little patch of grass like a little backyard area where another table sat and live plants everywhere. I will never stay anywhere else but this place. Thank you so very much for your wonderful day. I can’t wait to come back.

The cottage is a perfect beach holiday accommodation choice. I did not have a car so I relied on public transport. The bus stop is only about 2 blocks away and is an easy ride to the popular attractions of San Diego. The cottage is walking distance to great local shops and restaurants, and is as cute as described in the bio. The cottage has everything you need. I will highly recommend to any friends visiting San Diego and can’t wait to go back soon!

Great neighbor's!! Quiet neighborhood... Shout out to Chris and his loveable friendly dogs Frankie and Penny. Very safe area and I felt right at home. This place is clean and close to the beach with everything else in walking distance that you will need for your stay. OB still has the relaxed vibe I remember while living here in the 70's and 80's. Surfing the little jetty and pier brought back so many memories!! Want to give a special thanks to the host Ed, "thank you sir" although we never met in person you were very accommodating via text and email. I will most definitely plan a return trip next year. Ocean Beach is an awesome location, and our beach cottage was the perfect access point. Edwin was super communicative and helpful: we would definitely stay here again!

Great location! The parking situation is a bit tough. I recommend arriving early to look for street parking near the apartment. Otherwise, very enjoyable stay!

We came from Vegas to see a nearby show and hang out for 2 days. We've been to SD many times. This was close to the beach, so we figured this would be great. The property owner allowed us to bring our 2 small dogs, which was great.The check in and communication was great. Location seemed good. After that, had some definite issues. The property was generally clean in terms of kitchen, floors, bathroom being well-maintained. Kitchen: spices, coffee, cooking oil, and even chocolate treats left for us were expired. We made coffee using one of the packs left for us not realizing this. It wasn't until after drinking it that we realized something was wrong and checked the packaging. Wanted to use the oil to do some light cooking, but it was truly disgusting due to its expiration. The bottle was puckered in from age. Bedroom: Mattress was really terrible. Stains and covered in visible plastic with a flimsy mattress topper made of memory foam. Made for VERY uncomfortable sleeping. Bathroom: small shower, but clean. Towels were so frayed, small and thin, that you couldn't even dry yourself well with them. Living Room: only access to TV that we could determine was Apple TV shows. The couch was old and covered with an old blanket. The pillows were well-worn and not very appealing. Location: pretty decent. Neighbor to NE : very noisy at all hours Overview: Location: 4.5* Value for room: 2* (3* for allowing puppies). VERY expensive cleaning fees. Amenities: 2* Comfort: 2*

This was a great little cottage and so close to the beach and restaurants! The whole neighborhood is fun and laid back. The property is under the flight path of the airport, which is noticeable, but it didn't ever keep us up at night, and parking is a challenge, but not insurmountable. Many things are well within walking distance so there was no need for a car if you didn't want to leave this area. The cottage is small, but perfect for 2 people and was airy and clean.

The cottage was perfect for our weekend get away to O.B.. The location was perfectly located on a quaint and quiet street; just a short walk from the dog beach. The cottage has everything you will need to make you feel right at home. We would definitely book again.

This little cottage was in a great location and was perfect for two ( with a small dog). Quiet neighborhood near a lot of restaurants and the beach. We walked to Ocean Beach easily and had no problem with parking. For the price, it can't be beat.

Ed’s cottage is exactly what I needed for my stay in San Diego. A short Uber to all touristy things and a max 15 walk to everything local. My favorite thing to do was walking to the beach and watching the sunset. Would stay again.

Location great, walk to beach and dog beach! Coffee/smoothie/breakfast truck just around the block. The space inside maximized useability. Very clean and well equipped!

The cottage was only 2 blocks from Dog Beach and we went over to play almost every day. The cottage is in a fenced area, both front and back, with 3 other units. Neighbors were very friendly and all 4 dogs got along well. Ed was a super host.

Nice little cottage where the owner though of everything. Parking is difficult and you are sharing the patio. Lots of kids out front all night loud talking and swearing. Not the owners fault of course. The cottage itself is lovely.

Edwin’s place is simple and functional. Sparkling clean on a quiet street, it’s a short walk to Dog Beach and to Newport Street. Great little coffee shop/pizza joint on the corner that excelled in both. We would be glad to stay here again.

Cute cottage. Nice outdoor space. Good neighbors. Close to beach, restaurants, bars, shopping. Parking is a little difficult but every thing is walking distance.

This place is exactly as they described. Perfect location, 5 minutes to the dog beach walking. This is the reason we stayed here in Ocean Beach was because we were taking our pet. The parking is not desirable but to be expected since it's near the beach. BUT we parked and never moved our car. We literally walked everywhere. It was such a fabulous vacation for us. This town is awesome for pet owners! Our host was awesome too! Quick response to questions and or concerns! Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Edwin’s home for a few weeks and had a great experience. His communication was always timely and the home was exactly what we needed. Very close to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

The property was just as advertised. Very cozy and comfortable. Loved the location being so close to Dog Beach. Pupper and people had a great time.

This was just what we needed, a quite little place near the beach. Place was very clean and well kept. The parking was a pain, no reserved parking, for this trip that was ok because we had no plans to leave.
