Salar’s Rest is a superb modern house - warm and comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The four bedrooms are all very spacious and have three large bathrooms (two baths) between them. Showers are excellent. The location couldn’t be better; a peaceful cul-de-sac where rabbits and pheasants wander, with plenty of dedicated parking. Within 5 minutes‘ walk is Alnmouth’s lovely high street with its pubs and cafés, deli and gift shop and just beyond that is the golf course and beautiful beach. Walking in the area is an absolute pleasure, whether along the coastal path or the banks of the rivers Aln and Coquet. There’s a frequent bus service to the village from Alnwick, Warkworth, Amble and other local towns if the return walk is too ambitious! It’s unusual to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes for quality of accommodation, proximity to a most pleasant village and breathtaking coastline, located in a region with so much to do. Lovely house in a great location, just a minor comment; it does have quite a steep driveway so if not fully mobile might prove difficult getting about by foot (main benefit in accessing the nearby beach and facilities).
