The Old Joiners Shop is probably one of the best if not the best self catering establishments I have stayed at. Situated in a quiet location with its own dedicated parking space it is only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Ripon and is in easy driving distance to the eastern part of the Yorkshire Dales. It is very clean, well equipped and maintained. As a bonus the friendly, helpful owners live next door should you require any assistance.
Highly recommended.

This is an amazing little cottage in a quite but convenient location, within minutes walk of the centre of Ripon. Really well designed and equipped with some very high tech stuff. Photos do not do it justice! The only small thing is that the wet room only has an overhead shower, rather than a hand held shower head, which may not suit families with small children. Great for couples and families with older children.

The Old Joiners Shop was an excellent place to stay. It was incredibly well-equipped, it had absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen. It is in a great location, a short walk from the centre of Ripon and there were many attractions in driving distance. We would highly reccomend it as a place to stay to enjoy all Yorkshire has to offer.

Second visit, feels like a home from home!! Clean, comfortable and well equipped!! Nothing too much trouble for the owners, if you have a problem as well!! Brilliant base with which to explore wonderful Yorkshire!! Cannot recommend highly enough Joiners Cottage!!

We had a very pleasant week in this cottage, and settled in right from the start. All appliances, equipment etc was of the highest quality as was the cottage itself. Everywhere felt nice and clean too - no gritty, dusty bits. Quite a novelty for us to stay in such a modern place! We liked it very much and can heartily recommend it. The photos really don't do it justice.
